Don't wrap me up with several other people and act like it is one person making an argument

John Stones is a liability still, as is Otamendi as is Bakayoko, as is Lovren, David Luiz and many others in other teams.

I have plenty evidence of calling City the best team in times past, so stop your duplicitous joining of other peoples post to make as if it is one argument. City midfield to strikeforce is way better than Chelseas. No be John Stones or Otamendi go change am.

Prevarications.

Carlo lost to LFC, United, City, Arsenal even Sunderland whooped him 0-3 at Stamford bridge.

Chelsea even ended well hence why they finished 2nd. At some point, they and City overtook Arsenal to finish 2nd and 3rd.

That Chelsea team was largely clueless and boring. Anelka (16 goals) and Malouda (13) were the top scorers.

That Monaco team Pep lost to got to the Semis losing to Juve; scored goals for fun and had the winningest record in France. It is that team that has spun Mbappé, Bernardo Silva, Baka, Lemar and Mendy amongst others.

Funny enough, Aguero had to throw away half a dozen gilt-edge chances while Baka scored a fortuitous header late in the game to knock out that City team with Clichy, Sagna and Fernando who are playing in Turkey or clueless at the moment.

Forget this narrative you want to create. The 2nd place finish by Carlo was merely cosmetic.
My friend close your mouth.

Carlo finished 2nd, Pep finished 3rd.

Carlo made QF of UCL, losing to United a European powerhouse. Pep lost to phucking Monaco in 2nd round.

Carlo was in title race till the last month, Pep was out by early January.

Did you knock your head? If Pep was judged by Chelsea standards, he would not make the end of the season. Scolari was sacked for being 7 points adrift of the league leaders.

Ancelotti in the league 21Ws 8Ds 71pts tied with City that year. Scored 69 goals conceded 33.
Pep, 23Ws 9Ds 78points. Scored 80 conceded 39.

League finishes can be misleading. Fergie had 80 points with 78 goals scored 37 conceded. Even less goals than the crap Pep served.

Carlo had an atrocious preseason (like he did with Bayern now). Lost out 3rd round of the League ahome to Newcastle. Crashed out 4th round of FA Cup to Everton. Lost out Quarters of UCL courtesy home and away losses.

Pep crashed out 4th round and Semis of Carling and FA Cups to eventual winners. Lost out on away goals to revelations of the year, Monaco.

The history is here. You cannot rewrite it.
This means nothing. Carlo finished 2nd and was closer to the Champions than Pep and only dropped out the title race in the last month of the season, unlike Pep that waved white flag in January.

Carlo lost to Man United, eventual finalist in Quarterfinal. Pep lost to bloody Monaco in 2nd round, even throwing away a 2 goal lead in the process.

Ancelloti's second season was actually bad. He lost to Man Utd about four times. it was obvious fergie had figured him out.
Ancelloti was sacked because of his bad league record. it was obvious his team was in decline. The nigger has never even won any consecutive league titles
Ancelottis 2nd season was better than the crap Pep served last season.

So if you are saying Ancelottis sack was merited, Pep woulda been sacked at Chelsea on last seasons performance.

They could not wait for Chalobah to learn under Matic. They sold him and bought a far more expensive player to train under him.

Okay. We learn every day.
If you don't know the ins-and-outs of a club, you should just leave it for those who do and stop guessing.

Chalobah had 1 year on contract and wanted to leave. Nobody is going to make plans with Chalobah in mind.

2nd thing, we are now in Europe, so we cannot expect to go into another season with only 2 or 3 senior midfielders. Any reasonable club will plan to add another senior midfielder, the koko here is whether Bakayoko is better than junior midfielders like Chalobah or RLC sef. You can argue that one with Conte, not me.

My issue is I feel his anger was about where Matic went to.

I actually said Conte deemed Costa and him unnecessary AKA surplus to requirements and not that he was "happy" to see him leave.

I also reported that Matic said Roman let him go to United as a gift. Which means, someone else did not want him to go to United.

I don't know how they forced Matic off Conte's hands when the same Conte was planning to buy Drinkwater and Baka whilst Matic was there.
My friend no yarn wetin you no know.

Baka was one-in, one-out for Chalobah.

Drinkwater interest surfaced after negotiations for Matic had already started. Matic negotiations started in June or July that's why he was not allowed on preseason tour. That predates any link to Drinkwater.

Conte signed Bakayoko before Matic was sold and rumours of Drinkwater were in the news long before Matic left.

Conte was unhappy that Matic was sold to United. He would have preferred him to be sold to Juve or out of the EPL but United offered the most money.

Matic said Roman let him go to United as a gift for his service/loyalty to the club.

Summarily, his grouse was that it was to United. Fin.
A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Stop surmising with half-knowledge of the facts

Conte said and I quote "I wanted Bakayoko to learn under Matic."

Conte wanted Matic to stay. The club thought it was a good deal for a 29 year old with 2 years left on contract. Actually the club decision was correct, what was incorrect was their assumption that Baka is a like-for-like replacement.

It doesn't have to be through the roof. That's not his job. His job is to dominate the midfield and create a platform for the attacking players to weave their magic. And ofcourse He creates and scores goals himself when needed.
This is what I used to believe when I was naive until I watched his game closely and realised he does not dominate any midfield, he only dances one corner.

Dominate which midfield when Xavi is the one making 100 passes per game while he is making as many passes as Nemanja Matic.

This is why Barca fans have been complaining that their tikitaka is dead since Xavi retired and blaming Enrique, several managers etc before finally admitting that Iniesta was never the driving force behind tikitaka with his average no of passes per game.

I have done my research thoroughly. You have to pay attention to no of passes to know who is playing the tikitaka. If you talk Xavi, Alonso, Pirlo, I believe you. 100 passes per game clear.

If you talk Iniesta with his 60 passes, Gerrarahia men.

The same Zidane has more than doubled Iniestas goals from a low scoring era.

If so Bakayoko should not bother since he has the lethal Pedro playing with him.

Which lethal front 3 does Spain have that made Silva outscore Fraudiesta by 3 to 1?

Back to Iniesta, He was a CM not an AM so we need to stop conparing Him to Lamps or Silva who were true AMs. They had different roles in their respective teams. Their roles in the National team where Silva can be seen occuping the more advanced role of the two only buttresses my point.

You don't amass the No of appearances for the two best teams for the best part of a decade if you are mediocre(Spain and Barca)

Pirlo and Xavi outstat any deeplying midfielders in assists or ball possession which is what matters most.

Iniesta should face his fellow offensive midfielders and tell us why he never posted double-figures for goals and only twice posted double figures for assists in a 15 year career, instead of hiding behind defensive midfielders.

Soon he will be associating himself with Franco Baresi and asking us if Franco Baresi is not a great player cos he doesn't have stats.
