The only MOTM he deserved was for being at the right place at right time in WC final to make his first attacking contribution of the tournament after Xavi had seen them through the difficult matches against Germany and Portugal with the single assist in each.

He's good enough but I never believed any defender is a Superman. I rather believe that no defender can solidify a team when the midfield is poorly functioning, and any decent defender can be used to win titles so long as the midfield dey kampke. I was surprised the way Airmark was pushing for his signing at age 30 despite the near £50m being quoted. I always believe the right midfield will cure most defensive woes and there's no need to spend outrageous sums on centrebacks.

I can see you've clearly Ignored the part where Hazard was preferred to him in Chelsea, he was so good, he was always loaned out till he got sold while Hazard registered himself as the best player for the team.

Just because KDB is better at passing is the same way Hazard is heads over heels better than him in dribbling.

Their style of play is different. I'll take Hazard over him anytime, anyday. Compare him and Fabregas, not Hazard.

You can never and should never try to underestimate Hazard's influence in that Chelsea squad since he joined us. Chelsea squad is not the same as that City's squad.


At no point has our squad been better than city's yet we've won more trophies of which Hazard has been very very important and influential for us.

The Hazard I know has vision and is very wise, you didn't teach him to give that sweet pass to Morata when he did. Last season, most of the passes he gave Costa were wasted. Costa myt not have scored the one Morata buried.

If I'm a progressive midfielder that wants to sign for a club where I can play sweetly with other midfielders who understand football, will I sign for Chelsea to be playing in midfield with wastepipes like Bakayoko and Ramires? There is a reason quality midfielders tend to choose the likes of Bayern over us (eg Tolisso) because they know when they land, there is a synergy with their fellow midfielders.

Hazard Strength is to take on defenders creating space for team mates to come in to score or score himself, his distribution nevertheless is still good, two or three times in the last game he made two or three good crosses to the other wing for moses.

In my interpretation of football, vision and delivery trumps dribbling everytime. Debruyne can also dribble but only enough to create space for a harmful pass or cross. That is better than dribbling 3 players while defence regroup. Go and see how Hazard crossed for Morata against ATM instead of dribbling which he would do 9 times out of 10. The whole purpose of football is to get the ball to where it needs to be to create a chance. Debruyne knows that ball travels faster than man, Hazard doesn't.

They know themselves. I told them the difference between DeBruyne and their favourite son is urgency, vision and delivery. See some of the first time passes and crosses De Bruyne was making today, if it was their favourite son, all of those would end in dribbles rather than goals
