13 minutes in, Bakayoko has only completed 2 passes.

He is hiding on the pitch, and his teammates are ignoring him knowing he will phuck up their play.

I am 99% sure that Conte wanted Bakayoko, even though he said he did not pencil him in for the first team. The way Conte spoke about Bakayoko vs Chalobah let's me know he was fully on board with Bakayoko signing.

IMO, if you agree to build a midfield that is one injury away from having to field Bakayoko, then you done phuck up. I always insist on 4 central midfielders that are able to handle all aspects of midfield work. That is why I wanted Mikel and Ramires out even when they were substitutes. You can then have a 5th midfielder that is an incomplete midfielder like Fabregas and Bakayoko to throw on late in games or for specific tactical tweaks in certain matches.

Bakayoko has been playing for Chelsea 8 weeks and has the 3 worst passing records. Even if you went to dig Matic whole season last year and brought 1 or 2 matches where he only played 60 mins sef, Bakayoko still has the bottom 3 in just 8 weeks:

vs City - 17 passes
vs Roma - 20 passes

By the time we reach 52 weeks, this guy will have like the 20 bottom results. He is persistent and consistent in incompetence.

There is a reason some of us used to flog shege out of Ramires every match day right from 2010, because we know that function (receiving ball from the defence) is the primary function of a DM or CM. If you don't have that, you are NOT a midfielder, you are just someone positioned in the midfield.

As for using Ampadu against Watford, I no follow for that one oh. I no want make Doucoure break that boy leg before him career start.
