Nihilist: Yeah in terms of opportunities at the WC, this is a canny decision.
He's definitely not getting ahead of Kane and Rashford anytime soon. Solanke is arguably ahead of him now in the England pecking order sef.
If the likes of Zaha and Bolasie could not see England shirt, then Tammy might struggle because he has not even created enough hype through his gameplay as those ones did.
A good display at the World Cup changes his life and career forever. No way he is starting ahead of Kelechi or Ighalo at the next WC. It is more lucrative for him to be a starting England Under 21 player over the next few years than a Super Eagles sub. In 4 or 5 years, who knows if Rashford and Kane will still be on top. These are things you wait for. Zinedine Zidane did not enter French squad till 22 years of age. If he had rushed into Algeria team, he coulda been wasted by now. |

cstr1000: How? Is England a better footballing nation than Nigeria with a greater chance for silverware? What happened to the likes of agbonlahor, and Jordan ibe that dumped Nigeria for England and how many matches did they get to play for the 3 lions? With the likes of rashford, kane ahead of him and still young, what chance does he have? These are decisions you make at 23 not 19. Have you ever thought how much an England player makes from endorsements outside of football. Dele Alli makes millions in endorsements outside of football that he would never get as a Super Eagles player unless na Stanbic bank or Peak milk moi moi ambassadorship. Not to mention that being an England player gives you extra £20k per week on your contract than a Super Eagles player. We have not even got into Sporting reasons such as the demoralisation of being a Super Eagles player having to play with useless old players faking their age, inconsistency of player selection and lack of long-term team building, playing with players who big men carry come, staying in rubbish hotels cos someone chopped the money, flying on rickety planes cos someone chopped the money, bonus disputes while playing for Super Eagles, lack of adequate healthcare provision and compensation for injuries on National duty etc not to mention losing your club place everytime you travel for AFCON. You never start. If you are a pro with options, playing for Super Eagles should be a decision made from the age of like 23 when other options have failed |

Yyeske: Lagos could become another Greece if she is not careful, how many pay taxes there coupled with the huge debt they need to service? IGR and federal allocation can't cover the debt so Ambode should call Obiano to educate him. FYI, the Greeks borrowed so much but so many never paid their taxes just like in Lagos Just check Lagos IGR in relation to their debt and compare their IGR debt coverage ratio to other states, I think you'll find Lagos is probably in the healthiest position of all the states. |

Science/Technology › Re: Fasasi Tosin Oladayo: Demfas Aerosystems Founder & An Inventor With Four Patents by Ibime(m): 9:39pm On Sep 19, 2017 |
OYO4sure: After compiling the lists of entrepreneurs in Nigeria who are under 30 few days ago which I posted here yesterday https://www.nairaland.com/4041738/nigerias-notable-entrepreneurs-under-30 I found one go be unique which is that of Fasasi Tosin Oladayo. After some online search and a DM to the company's instagram, I was able to schedule a meeting with the young brain in Ibadan.
Now Fasasi Tosin Oladayo is a third year Aerospace engineering student. He currently own four patents and he is also the founder of Nigeria biggest telecommunication equipment company Demfas Aerosystems. According to the company's website, Demfas Aerosystems is a Nigerian manufacturer of radio transmitting and receiving equipment based in Nigeria. We are providing instant voice quality across a wider area and having a stable and immediate communication in times of emergency and also providing a stable communication in rural areas whereby cellular signal are inoperable since they operate on radio frequencies. Our devices offers encrypted communication, GPS mapping and others.
After a brief discussion with him, I was able to go through some of his patent certificate. Being curious on his course of study and his projects, I asked why he isn't doing anything related to his course and he immediately brought out his laptop opening through numerous folders showing some simulations, CAD diagrams and some technical details on the drone his company is working on.
I asked if he is going to manufacture all these parts himself and how viable is his vision of producing an unmanned aerial vehicle of such standard here locally and he said "I'm purchasing the engine and am having a transfer of technology to be able to locally produce a ground control system. You see this folders,(point at some folders in his laptop) they are filled with technical details on most communications aspects. Those are things am capable of doing with the help of a great team." He said I just need some funding and trust me everyone will be shocked to this in Nigeria. Basically, I just want you to know that all components are being covered by my patents, my designs, circuit and whatever. I made sure all inventions in all of my products are being covered with patents.
Being curious on how he has been able to fund his projects to this level, he replied in confidence again "I have a company generating revenue so I'm able to do something from my sales while also building up a brand"
He belongs to some foreign organizations and currently working on. His company is a revenue generating company, has ovrt 400 units of his products used by consumers in foreign countries such as USA, Germany and Pakistan.
I am a PhD holder in electronics and telecommunication and I envy this guy. Few minutes with him shows his level of intelligence and am not surprised as he schooled in a foreign country. Attached are his products while I forgot to take his picture, I was able to get one through google. You forgot to mention he studies in China |

Kenedy & Musonda to start vs Forest.
"It’s a good opportunity to give chances to some players who in the last period didn’t play a lot. It could be a good opportunity for Charly Musonda, and also for Kenedy."
"Kenedy knows very well what happened in China. He made a mistake, but everyone in life can make a mistake. He is focused, he is working very well and he understood his mistake. Now he is ready to play and to show he deserves a place for the future."
"You can see Charly’s talent very clearly. I am sure we are talking about a young player with really good prospects. Now it is important he is working very well and trying to adapt himself to this league, which is not simple. It’s a physical league."
"He is a bit thin but now he is working a lot to improve his strength and be prepared for the big impacts in this league. I trust Charly. It’s important for the coach to trust a young player, but also important to have a good answer when the chance to play arrives." |

lalaboi: Drogba Yes!
Most strikers, i think not.
Even as physical as Costa was, The first time coming up against a Mustafi/Koscienly partnership, he was almost eaten raw. its just 12months ago. We are fond of underestimating Arsenal when it comes to playing us which is one of the reasons Conte is yet to get the better of Arsenal.
I'd listen to an excuse of Conte not learning of his past mistakes of playing Fab in a 2 man midfield against Arsenal(who seem to always play the 3-4-3 better when they face us) than Saying Morata is the fault of it all.
Morata and his physical attributes is a known weakness which is currently being worked on. Results don't happen overnight. He'll learn from the Arsenal game no doubt. Costa never got a chance to have physical battle with Mustafi that day because Arsenal totally dominated that game. Yesterday Morata might have had 20 one-on-one duels with Mustafi and fell down each time. It is a bit worrying. |

bigkesh: Bashing Morata for losing physical battles is like bashing Fabregas for not winning his duels........You know their strengths, play to it.
Trying to let him battle Mustafi and co is like crossing for Dybala......Makes no sense
Fixed the midfield, dominate the game and Morata will do the rest.
Simple Sorry, no striker shoild be losing physical battle with fücking Mustafi. Mustafi is one of the weakest centrebacks in EPL if not the absolute weakest. Most strikers would flatten Mustafi. Drogba woulda sent Mustafi to hospital yesterday. |

Bimffo: It is the Willian I am having problems with.
Ibime made some observations in the afternoon and I think Ibime is starting to like Bakayoko.
1) Fabregas should never play in a 2 man midfield against a big team. Conte got the message and introduced Baka. The only mistake was removing Pedro.
2) Moses is working on his crosses. Though he is shit going forward but he is working on his crosses. ZappaCosta should bench him though. No Sir, the tactical reality of the situation is that Fabregas cannot handle a 2 man midfield physically and that's why I called for Bakayoko. Both of them are doing a job that one man can do, but severe deficiencies in an aspect of their game won't allow it. Bakayoko for instance will never get involved in build up play, he will only want to receive the ball in safe areas with no one around him so he doesn't fück up and lose it. He only made 17 passes today, because he was playing safe and not showing for balls a technically proficient midfielder would show for. That is 34 passes over a full game, nowhere near enough for a central midfielder who should be hitting 50 passes per game. As for Moses, I noticed that his crosses are now lifting off the ground. You're right, maybe he has been practicing, but I believe that crossing depends on the shape of your leg and practice can only get you so far. A k-legged player will never be able to cross a ball well, while a bow-legged player will naturally be good at crossing. |
