Dayo's views are always moment driven. Dont be surprised by tomorrow, he starts claiming man city had it easy because of iniesta's and pique's absence, in order to win another arguement. He is such an irresponsible poster.
Don't be surprised if for example in February, you ask him why EPL has 4 teams in knockout round while Bundesliga only has 2. . . .you would start hearing rubbish like "EPL only got more teams because Leicester were placed in an easy group, and because Barca took it easy against City and had Iniesta and Pique out" grin grin

cheesy cheesy cheesy

Good one there.
See as Raumdeuter is shouting because for the first time in his life, Guardiola managed to beat a team better than his team. . . in a dead rubber group game as well.

I wonder if Guardiola is being praised for beating a superior team for the first time in his life, what we would say about Simeone who does it constantly, or Klopp who used to hammer Madrid with Dortmund, or Mourinho who has been beating superior teams right from Porto through Chelsea through InterMilan.

Finally Guardiola has managed it after several disgraces with Bayern against superior opponents, we can't rest again.

Actually Barca gave it their all and wanted to win but they were outplayed outshot by Pep Guardiola and City

Bayern beating Barca 3-2 in 2015 qualifies as a dead ruber game which pep won but todays Barca wanted it, they played to win it and lost it

First time City would get as much as a draw vs Barcelona in 6 attempts without parking the bus cowardly and actually outshooting Barca
Ehn, we shall see awfa in knockout round. This one na friendly.

I dont think I've seen Barcelona outplayed like tonight in a long time

Ibime come and tell us how Pep gets disgraced by his former clubs
This is just like when Arsenal would beat Bayern 2-1 in return leg after Bayern has already flogged them 4-0 in first leg and you will tell us "Bayern have already done the job and are in cruise control, it doesn't count."

Barca have already finished the job at Nou Camp. What you are seeing here is mere sideshow for City to ginger themselves with.

That's a good point you raise with Kennedy. Could very well be a solid player. I can imagine him being a nightmare in attack, as Moses is turning out to be.
Kenedy has all the qualities Moses is showing on the other side. Just like Moses, he is a poor wing-forward, but his stamina, strength and straight-line running is perfect for a wingback.

So Conte is now playing Kante as B2B? I remember when we said Kante's qualities were better utilized as just that rather than as a holding midfielder.
Before nko? Ninjas who saw Kante playing a handful of games for France categorised him as DM only but like you said that is just another string to his bow. His most effective position is CM and that is where he is beasting.

Its amazing how Conte gave everyone what they want in just a swing

Sent Oscar,Mikel and Ivanovic to the bins(Ibime)
Playing Hazard in a forward role with little defensive responsibilities (Hensben,Nateevs,Chelseafan1)
Changed the Foolish ninny mentality (Ibime)
Stopped Costa WWE career (Everyone)
Playing youth (hmmm,I wonder who this is)
Playing Kinta Kunte in a more advanced role(FBS)

I tried to think of something he has done to please Nihilist, but bobo yen is soo hard to please
Hehehe. . . . nice one. Once you win, the rest na story.

I also wanted Kante as B2B and Matic sitting, and he's done just that.

Only thing I would recommend in addition is to recall Kenedy and Ake from loan. Kenedy to provide depth at LWB and Ake to provide depth at CM, LWB and LCB.

Oh. . . and tear up Mikels contract! grin

Sit tight Mikel was giving interview in ES before West Ham game saying he hopes to play. In the end he couldn't even make bench.

Uncle Emenalo has helped him maintain his London lifestyle for the past 4 years, but now the party is over.

Sit tight Mikel should start finding another club ASAP. No more carrying of parasites.

Is this not the same Conte that was bitchslapped all over Europe with his Juventus team? Let him continue to dominate the tactically naive EPL when he reaches Europe his ogas are waiting

Lets see if he will even be able to qualify in a group now unlike the last time when Galatasaray beat him black and blue
Juve were just warming back into the bigtime after Calciopoli enforced relegation then, besides that was 3-5-2 with a playmaker anchoring - a slightly different ethos.

Same Conte that took this same system with Sunderland and Southampton rejects like Giacherini and Pelle to hold the mighty Die Mannschaft to stalemate over 120 minutes.

undecided please enlighten me.
what other types of 343 are there?
Pep Guardiola 3-4-3 that employ high press, leaving the 3 centrebacks to defend 1-on-1.

Barcelona have enjoyed great success against a 3-4-3 with high press in the past, leading Debroslink to believe 3-4-3 is the easiest formation for Barca to play against.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 11:09pm On Oct 30, 2016
Debroslink:
Chelsea FC, please qualify for UCL next season and try that 3-4-3 formation against MSN or BBC and let's see how you'll fare.
This is not Bayern Munich that plays an attacking 3-4-3, leaving MSN one-on-one with their defenders to score 5 goals.

Not all 3-4-3 are the same.

I remember when You said we don't have a team to compete for role title this season huh.

I will keep saying it mou was the problem last season, his ego maniac attitude cost us last season.
All credit to Conte for switching formation, deploying Azpi at centre-back, Moses and Alonso at wing back etc, something none of us could have thought of.

This would be a clear case of the manager taking the credit, not cos we have the players.

The usual Chelsea template of 4-2-3-1 would have Garri Cahill miscafoning and struggling to keep clean sheets and Oscar being as useless as ever in our no10 position. That team can struggle to finish in the top 7 this season. So all credit goes to Conte.

It is finished!!
The country is officially killed. Buhari has done it.

9.6 trillion Naira loan.

Before we even start discussing, I have just 7 questions.

1)Where is all the Subsidy savings?? Jonathan was said to have been paying hundreds of billions on subsidy. In 2013. There is supposed to be no more subsidy since the new price of N145. So where are all the subsidy savings?

2) Where is all the corruption savings? Since the previous government is accused of being terribly corrupt, and it is said that this government is corruption free, where are all the savings that should accrue from the new corruption free system?

3) Where is all the recovered loot? Why are we borrowing $10billion for reccurents when the government has boasted of recovered funds of $9 billion?

4) Where is all that 3 Trillion said to be locked up in the TSA account. Abi is the account under lock and key?

5) This government has borrowed N2.2 Trillion in the last one year. Where is that money, what was it used for and who was it given to.

6) The N9.6 Trillion in question, who are you borrowing it from. What are you using as surety. You aren't even certain anybody will give that money so why are you making plans deceiving yourself about it?

7) Finally, what the heck is your payment plan. Already we are paying almost 1 trillion for debt servicing on the meagre debt we have. If you add a gargantuan 9.6 Trillion, who is going today for that?

Buhari doesn't care because when the country crumbles he'll be too old or gone to face the consequences.

My gut feeling tells me the greatest heist in the history of Nigeria is currently going on right now under our very nostrils and except we start asking the right questions, we would not have a country to call ours in a few years from now.
This is less than half the money Goodluck met in Excess Crude Account that he should have more than doubled by the time he left going by crude oil prices. So you should first ask him what was done with quadruple this amount.

Do you work the Etihad?

You seem to be around that area a lot.

I remember that guy's story when it came out in the news. A lot of these footballers suffer from severe mental problems. While they are still at their clubs, they are given first rate support with one-on-one interaction with mental health professionals. When they retire, they immediately lose that safety net. You only need to look at the likes of Michael Johnson, Gary Speed, and that former Aston Villa player that got tasered to death a few months ago. I think there was a former Bayern keeper that offed himself too.

Mental health support is very good and widely available either privately or on the NHS. I just don't understand how the PFA allows these guys to slip through the cracks.
My company has a small project with Citeh which I work on one day a week. I actually just went on paternity leave today and wanted to enter town to buy stockfish and crayfish so I said I might as well pop in quickly for a few hours as I haven't been there in weeks. Funny enough, when I asked the guys, they said City are involved in a football degree and Carlisle is a lecturer on the mental/psychiatric aspect of the game, hence his appearance at Etihad.

Hazard has been playing as midfielder over the years coupled with mou restriciting tactics.
Neymar only moved into striker position for Brazil this year. He was on the left prior to that.

Please tell me how many goals Ronaldo scored under Mous restrictive tactics at Madrid?

Or tell me why Gervinho outscored Hazard almost two to one when they were together at Lille? Gervinho was playing rightwing and Hazard leftwing.
