Nigeria has not thrown me off my land and my village, I am just part of Nigeria though I may prefer not to be. Same way the Palestinians were not thrown off their land, they were just not happy with the administrative centre where they were placed. I as an Ijaw am no different from the Bedouins, Kurds, Alawites, Yorubas, Yazidis, Igbo, Wolof, Igalas, Efik or the Palestinians. We've all been placed in countries with administrative centres that may not be to our taste. We still have our land, but we are not happy to be grouped in the country where we are grouped. It doesn't mean we go around trying to commit genocide like the Palestinians did on finding out their grouping. And if we FA we would FO and get thrown off our land for being a security threat just like the Palestinians.

It simply divided the land into 3 administrative centres - Arab, Israeli and International (Jerusalem)

Nobody stole any human beings land, and it is no different to the partitions of Arabia and co that placed different tribes in different administrative centres from Kurds in Iraq and Syria to Yazidis and Alawites, Bedouins etc. Nobody chose their administrative centres

The Palestinians were pissed that they would only constitute 45% of the Jewish State, while constituting 99% of their own state. They were unhappy with the administrative arrangement and attempted a genocide. No Palestinians land was taken from him or would see him forcibly expelled from his land in the partition plan

In practicality, the partition of the Jewish State would have allowed European Jews to continue to buy land within the Jewish State which would further increase their percentage of the population. That is capitalism. Money for hand, back for ground but no land was to be taken from any individual.

It was a battle for political control of their administrative centres and the Palestinians thought genocide was the best way around it, and in doing so, lost the baby with the bathwater.

In warzone reporting, you either report from a demilitarised zone or embed yourself within an army a good distance from the front line where probability of harm has been checked. The commander is aware a journalist is with them and if situation changes rapidly, they are withdrawn to the back.

Al Aqsa TV (literally owned by Hamas and named after the destruction of Israel) journalists will be doing Guerilla journalism, ducking and diving with Hamas terrorists while they are under fire. Filming Israeli soldier positions and reporting the position to Hamas - reconnaissance posing with press pass. So you can call them low IQ or outright terrorists.

The figures are issued by the Hamas Ministry of Health, and seen to be reliable by all other renowned international organisations.
