Ilekokonit: It baffles me too to be honest.
I've lived in the UK for decades and if you told me years ago that we could have thousands of white people old and young attacking mosques, burning hotels housing immigrants and attacking black people in the streets like happened in August last year during the Anti immigrant riots, I would have said this was not possible but alas it happened and it has made me rethink my safety and continued stay in the UK.
Even my Oyinbo neighbour who is married to an African woman seems happy with the anti immigrant riots based on some of his utterances around that time. I kukuma have now learnt to no longer see him as an open minded friend and I only interact with him only if necessary.
And it's going to get worse in the UK as the televised anti immigrant riots last year has let the racist genie out of the closet and Brits are now proud to wear the badge of honor of being called racist in public 'cos for the past 2 years the UK populace have been egged on by the racist rhetoric of the last conservative government and currently that of the crafty Kemi Badenoch who will sell her grandmother to become Prime Minister and Nigel Farage (Trump and Elon Musk's friend) of the racist Reform party who will probably become the next UK Prime Minister going by how toxic the racism in UK society and politics has become.
But what do you hear from black people and immigrants in the UK Deafening silence. Calm down. Reform.wont even win 30 seats at next election talkless of Farage becoming Prime Minister |

OkpaNsukkaisBae: What's the population of mauripol before the war? Mariupol was taken ab initio in February 2022 and few guys held out in a bunker till May 2022 Like I said, Russia hasn't taken any City since the first month of the war In the first month, Russia was already at the gate of Kiev, today after 3 years and hundreds of thousands dead, they are mostly in the areas they or their rebels already held before the war and haven't taken any City since. In the same time, Ukraine is also in Russian Kursk region since August and haven't been pushed out So anyhow una want paint am it's embarrassing but we will let you crow about "Ukraine not joining NATO" while their future security is guaranteed and deterrent is established and while Finland and Sweden joined NATO without a shot fired. I sure say if you give Putin time travel, he will go back and reverse his costly blunder. Na just agidi make am continue. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae: Mauripol and Bakhmut na Ijaw cities? Mariupol is the initial attack the first month although some few Ukrainian guys held out in the power plant for months Bakhmut population pre war was 70,000 Once again show me a "city" with more than 5% the population of your LGA Kherson is the only real City taken since the initial surprise attack and that was taken by the Ukrainians |

OkpaNsukkaisBae: E be like say una no like Ukraine. 18year olds Ukrainians are about to be drafted to the war. NATO dangled membership to Ukraine because of Ukraine's natural resources and strategic location. So far so good, Ukraine is losing the war, the earlier they negotiate the better for Ukraine's survival. If the West continues to push, there maybe nothing called Ukraine in the future.
Below is a Ukrainian city called Toretsk that was captured last week by Russian armed forces. 18 year olds fight for Russia so whats new Toretsk a town of 30,000 pre war. Every hamlet automatically becomes a City when Russia captures it. Russia has not captured any City since the first month of the war |

Bombblacks: How exactly is this evidence? A Republican making claims isn't prove of anything. Na their way Any funding toward a country with extreme elements will be painted as such Even if you do charity work in Mali now, they will say you funded ISIS in the Sahel That's not to say some guys can't divert the charity money to their pocket or other causes. That's the nature of charity Nigeria donated aid to Afghanistan recently. With the right spin on it, anyone can say Nigeria is funding Al Qaeda or ISIS K in Afghanistan |

OkpaNsukkaisBae: U dey overrate this people. United States Secretary of Defense have told you that American troops will not be in Ukraine. That any European troop stationed in Ukraine will not be covered by NATO's article 5 . Without the United States these guys are nothing. If ceasefire agreement is signed in the future and somehow Ukraine violate the terms of agreement just like they did in Minsk 3, Moscow will start another SMO. This time they will annex the remaining territory. If European troops put body dem too go collect.
https://www.axios.com/2025/02/12/trump-ukraine-hegseth-nato This is called a fait accompli. Just sit and watch Rare earth minerals is part of USA tussle with China for control of those minerals which China are dominating You think they'll give that up on mere threats Same Trump that said yesterday he's cutting funding said today he's continuing funding Once European boots are on ground, it's over Even 20 years from now if they say they are accepting Ukraine in NATO with their boots on groud, it's a fait accompli NATO is really a red herring, what matters is deterrent and the European boots and US strategic interest is enough deterrent. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae: Where you dey get your fake news from? Stop mis informing the public. US Secretary of Defense announced that American troops will not be stationed in Ukraine, it's left for the Europeans to protect Ukraine. And any European troop stationed in Ukraine will not be covered by NATO's article 5⃣. If American companies are mining in Ukraine you think US won't coordinate military to protect their interest? The deterrent will be achieved while simultaneously giving Putin a propaganda win to sell to his fanboys that it's not NATO. Just British troops in Ukraine is already enough deterrent given their various pacts with America/Canada/Australia outside of NATO, come add American companies and Russia won't be able to cough toward that side |

Bombblacks: Trump is and always has been Russia’s bitch. That part has always been obvious. Too early to comment. Those rare earth minerals are close to the border/disputed territory so he has an end goal in mind that involves Ukraine keeping those economic assets and US companies mining them. They will also of course be secured by US military might if he is successful. Also European army in Ukraine is equivalent to NATO. It gives Putin an out/story to tell "see we prevented NATO in Ukraine" which was never his guiding principle in the first place, while achieving the same thing as NATO. |

GloriousGbola: IOCs na typically from entry level. That's my perspective. Experienced hire is very competitive.
What you actually see often people in contract roles in IOCs going for full time roles in indigenous.
Taking where I worked as an example - it was mainly entry level graduate trainees I saw do the transition to IOCs because they were still doing tests. It is actually the other way round. Indigenous looking for competent and experienced hired poaching from IOCs.
I just checked a new guy who has resumed in a banks technicial arm and the dude worked in total e & previously. Thanks |
