Unfortunately the boy is from Manchester and favours a move back home, plus no9 position is easy to steal from Hojlund. Trust me, if you grew up or live in Cheshire suburbs like Alderley Edge, Wilmslow, Prestbury, Hale & Bowdon, you won't want to leave the area when you can live here and play for Manure. I have never seen any English player whether from London or Newcastle that played for the Manchester or Liverpool clubs, that didn't live in that area and that didn't make it their permanent home. Whenever I read articles like this, I can’t help but wonder - do the parents fantasizing about their kids becoming football stars realize people like this exist too?

From what I've seen of Delap, he thrives more on counter attack football. Leicester sit deep and counter. At least, that's what they played against us and that why Delap was so dangerous in both legs.... I'll love to see him in the dominating team, trying to break down a defence sitting deep....Not all those "on the run" one on one occasions where he bulldoze his way past defenders.

The strength needed to bulldoze makes it even better to bully in the box so long as his touch is good which it is.

A good strong striker is always better when the play is in the box. That's how Drogba was able to score 33 goals under Ancelotti just playing in the box after being typecast as a counterattack only striker

What you don't want is a striker that can't play outside the box or doesn't have legs to drive into the box, putting tactical limitations on you.

I always prefer players that give tactical flexibility and I hate specialists, that's why I hate most no 10s and jogging DMs like Jogginghoe and Enzo Fernandez

He started boudaying every ball in the last 10 games of the season and we stopped conceding cheap goals. He is actually a superb goalkeeper with his hands, it's his feet that is the problem. If he was in a different generation, he may be rated up there with the best keepers

Only Gyokeres and Delap are options as far as I am concerned. Gyokeres will be expensive but his wage won't be a problem to move him on if he flops. However Gyokeres is heading Arsenal way, which leaves only Delap as an option

Failing to get Delap, we should look in the sub £40m range cos nobody priced above that is worth it in the market today. We can pick up Jonathan David for free or get our boy Emegha from Stratford while we wait for the right option to materialise. As of now, I think Delap is going to Manure

I deliberately didn’t mention Felix and Sterling because I genuinely don’t believe they’ll be part of the squad next season — they haven’t impressed during their loan spells. I’d bet they’re either going back out on loan or getting sold to any club willing to take them. As for Nkunku, I’m convinced we’ll move him on this window; I just don’t see where he fits in the current setup.

In my post, I only focused on the wingers we’ve consistently seen this season — the ones we’re most likely to carry into next season, unless we manage to upgrade. Ideally, I’d like to see all three gone, or at least two of them.

Madueke, for example, plays like someone who thinks he’s already arrived or performing at his best, when it’s clear he has more to give. The problem is, he might not actually be better than what we’re seeing. His decision-making is still poor for his level. Personally, I’d loan him out or sell him with a buy-back clause, just in case he suddenly figures it out.

As for Neto, I like his effort and desire — you can tell he tries — but he’s clearly flawed. For someone who’s been in the Premier League for a few years, there’s been little real progress. Unless something drastic changes, I don’t see much improvement coming. Unfortunately, I doubt he’ll be easy to offload, so we might be stuck with him for now.

Anyway, I just hope we can do some smart business this summer, especially in those wide areas. We badly need support options who can actually contribute with goals and assists.

You have 9 exams at £80 roughly plus 5 exams at £140 or so, plus one big cost at the end when they assess your work experience and such (maybe like £300-£400). On top of this you'll have one Ethics module or something like that for another £80. So all the above is like £1.8k

Then while all of this is going on, you'll be paying £150 yearly membership fee (assume 3 years so £450) plus original registration fee of maybe £50 or so. So that's another £500 ontop of your £1.8k making £2.3k.

This is not assuming any retakes or short notice booking of exams which triples the price.

That's before buying any reading materials which you can get from Nigerian vendors for low cost (like N10-N20k per exam x 14 exams)

I think you'll wrap.all this up in ICAN for N300k. ICAN used to be N50k per DIET x 3 DIETS

He can complete all ICAN for less than N300k while ACCA will cost him just shy of £2k all in (N4m). This is assuming first time passes for both and no tuition classes, just exam fee and maybe the reading papers

ICAN Is also ICAEW so you can get ACA from an ICAN without much stress. ACA is more prestigious than ACCA supposedly. You can also go from ICAN to ACCA with just a handful of exams so it is more cost effective to do ICAN first even if you want to land at ACCA, you can save maybe N2.5m doing ICAN first then converting to ACCA later. If you need a degree along the way, that's when you take ACCA because exams 1-9 qualify you for Oxford Brookes BSc in Accounting by just adding a 5,000 word thesis on top. But iamoyindamola already has degree so he doesn't need it from ACCA
