Theflint1:WW2 we would still win because they didn't have jet engines then. At best they can blockade us with submarines and starve us out. |
Theflint1:Yes they used planes for surveillance but not for bombing These were light planes which can be brought down by machine gun They used Zeppelins (Hydrogen balloon) for bombing but wasn't very effective |
Theflint1:Impossible. Technology has moved on They didn't even have planes dropping bombs in WW1, they used to use slow moving gas filled balloons (forgot the name of that aircraft) |
chrisooblog:Matter done already settle. Court settled cos they have no case without a victim while he settled because he doesn't need the wahala of a court case, even if he will win eventually Re: Domestic Violence On Monday, I got a call from the Lagos State Police Command inviting me to appear before them. Yesterday, I reported at the office to make statement in respect of some allegations and answer questions. Today, I also walked into the office and was subsequently charged to court. Fortunately, the matter was struck out by the court with conditions that I go for counseling, use my platform to speak against domestic violence and stay off Twitter for a month. In compliance, I want to appeal to married people to seek peaceful means of seeking marital disputes. Patience will always solve issues no matter how long it takes. Also in compliance, I will be logging off Twitter for one month. I will also appreciate if nobody sends me anything from Twitter on other platforms of reaching me. I do not want to see or hear anything from Twitter. Please do not send to me. Special thanks to the Lagos State Police Command for speedy attention to the matter. Special thanks to the firm of Wahab Shittu SAN, my legal representatives in court and my friend Adam Muhammad for further legal support. In my 17 years of active participation on social media, I have always used the platforms as a force for good, devoting a generous amount of my Internet time to advising and supporting the ambitions of younger ones, especially on education and career matters, evident in the general feedback about how my free education and career tips have changed the lives of people for life. I try to exude positivity and preach the message of hope. Confident that an isolated case of marital challenge will not bring down such brand. This use of social media to mass-mentor and share life-transforming information to younger folks will not stop when I return. Thank you. Jarus |
TrebleChamp:Nope. I don't see any challenge in the charges The second charge is wishy washy His wife on his side will kill the first charge The only problem I see is if the Judge remand him to prison while awaiting case to be heard |
donjazzet:I don't rely on Government for anything for one. I will only come out to vote when I see a threat like far-right threatening my physical safety, or far-left (Jeremy Corbyn) threatening my pocket. So long as the options are centrist (centre-right or centre-left), I'm good. Number 2, in UK, we don't vote for Prime Minister, we vote for our local MPs. MPs then elect the Prime Minister. I have lived in a safe Conservative constituency for over a decade so my vote won't change the outcome of which MP my constituency will send to Parliament. Likewise when I lived in London, I lived in a safe Labour seat so no need voting Number 3, as a young man, I refused to pay TV licence (£170 per year). Till today, I don't agree with paying a tax on TV, my wife pays for the household. One way TV licence inspectors used to check who is living in a house is by checking the electoral register so I never signed up on the electoral roll. TV inspector will be posting letters "To the occupier" threatening this and that. Is my name Occupier? No name, no crime. So I never got into the habit of voting from early because of TV licence and I never see wetin go make me vote. I have only voted once in my life |
liveLongNprospa:Roland17 knows they don't play, he dey warn since |
iamoyindamola:Say wetin, leave story |
chrisooblog:He will buss case so long as wife is on his side, dem just want pressure am small and keep up optics |
Unlimited22:I don't vote bro, leave that for civilians |
Ballzproblemm:That nigga is bad, real bad, Michael Jackson The scout that recommended his signing plus the TD that pushed for it should be fired immediately |
Seun:My oga at the top, I no follow for them oh. I remain loyal
|
GloriousGbola:That means the situation done escalate. I think Seun was trying to preserve his image at first with his initial comments (but not taking action on the Nairaland side despite lindaikeji and every blog in Nigeria taking action, so it would have been fair game for Nairaland to report on the trending topic), but now it seems water done pass Garri Seun is a powerful enemy to have though, considering he controls a good portion of Nigeria's media space. Thats another thing that should come into SirJ calculations |
raumdeuter:In all these, if I'm Jarus, I will still weigh up Seuns actions and take the positives Seun could have plastered the issue on NL front page and dragged his reputation through an even wider audience, but he held back I would not be playing devil's advocate to suggest that Seun gave him a pass while feeling compelled to comment on the matter publicly since everyone knows their relationship. Maybe Seun didn't want to be seen as supporting DV or Polygamy through his silence. When we are under pressure, we don't always see all angles, and expect 100% backing from our friends but sometimes we need to consider all possibilities. Jay Z cannot always back Memphis Bleek in public, he also needs to consider his own social standing. |
izzou:Maybe na Drake song you dey recall ![]() |
Android17:Your chronology is off Seun jumped on Jarus domestic drama in a spiteful way, so Jarus fired back saying he knows say Seun brain done knock for over a decade and Seun may be jealous of him "possibly" making it more than Seun. I don't think he meant financially but business wise, respect wise and influence. Seun will never show his finances but believe me, Seun level financially done go far to dey compare. Seun said he admires Jarus business-wise but does not support his polygamy actions. . . that no mean say Seun dey respect him pocket. It's just that Jarus has the social skills to make many things happen that Seun doesn't have, but Seun has a cash cow that outweighs anything. Seun has tried a couple of businesses that didn't work because Seun doesn't put himself out there. He will not even do interview, radio, TV or attend any social event. He admires that in Jarus and wish he has that, but as for pocket, forget, Seun done go far. |
afrodoc2:Aspergers more precisely |
GloriousGbola:You done see am na I go soon set up consultancy to charge guymen. I can't be giving out free game here |
swiz123:See what I'm saying? Bad belle! |
swiz123:Learn to sperate cruise from seriousness. I resemble polygamist for your eye 🙃 |
swiz123:Is useless players the reason you had to jump on my polygamy post to call it trash out the gate? Badbelle go purge you ![]() |
swiz123:That's what happens when you carry badbelle for Ibime. . . . you will literally develop bad belly ![]() swiz123: swiz123: |
WriteerNg:You lived in Russia for 12 years with nothing to show, yet jumping around carrying out their propaganda, wanting young Nigerians to suffer like you did, while the sensible Nigerians in the West you hate so much are building good life for themselves. |
chic2pimp:Which Kain work dey give pesin one month leave in one sitting? |
chic2pimp:Guy dey play nonsense, but him dey score. That's why I benched Foden for him consistently |
Toooooorr |
hensben:He is not a Palmer type player, he is an energy midfielder All in all, he is competent in everything without being outstanding in anything but I understand he found his goal touch last season With this, Ugochukwu should go |
Sportsweb:See as dem castigate Swiz123 MCM |
OasisX:This sounds like super story and knacking an orphan is just as revulsive as knacking a slave |
lordfalcao:Is this your excuse for Jogginghoe getting deservedly benched after almost dumping them out at group stage till they were saved by last minute equaliser? Jogginghoe the fraud of summer 2021, na only one summer him stars align |
