swiz123:Thank God you no add Havertz Wetin come dey refined about Jogginghoe, back passes abi? Refined wey no fit turn with ball when man dey him back. No be only refine, na Kaduna refinery |
andrewbaba44:MRI only definitely catches players above 21 for starters so there is a window of 4 years. Just like drug tests, MRI testing will likely be random, where 1, 2 or 3 players at random might be picked by FIFA. To test all 23 players in a squad will take a whole day as each MRI test will take 30 mins on average. I don't see FIFA flying a team in for a tournament and parking them at a Medical Facility for one whole day when they often arrive only one or two weeks before the tournament starts. It will be up to each Nations federation to test every player before coming to get assurance that none of their players will fail a test if picked out at random. If you are NFF, you just have to make sure that in a squad of 23, you have enough players who might be 20 years old and you can take risk with 2 or 3 VERY SENIOR MEN as the statistical likelihood of them being picked at random by FIFA for MRI test is low. That's how players like Uzoho who are perhaps 5 to 8 years older than advertised sneak in.

Ballzproblem2:It's about time, his next goal should be at the next New Yam festival |
This one even happened last month when our Under17 keeper from 2022 got called up against Lesotho, he claimed he was 18 and Uzoho and Osimhen were laughing at him And one foolish Capaldi will say "MRI has been perfected since 2010"
|
Capaldi:You are very foolish So Francis Uzoho, Isaac Success and Kelechi Iheanacho from 2013 squad were really under 17? "MRI has been perfected since 2010". That's how we lie to ourself in this country
|
WhoDeyHause:Pesin dey educate you, you just dey yarn opata. Loans are to take care of your basic recurrent spending, not to protect your currency. My main man moved to Angola in 2010 and has been lamenting since 2015. He built a $1m house and has another $250k flat. He told me the $1m house is now worth around $200k and the $250k one is now worth peanuts because Kwanza has been sliding and money no dey. He was lamenting not putting his investments in Europe. Dollar that was 100 Kwanza in 2014 is over 800 Kwanza today. I was shocked when he asked me to lend him £250 the other month Lazy commentators go just open mouth dey shout say dem no care about oil revenues when every oil country without savings went through the same downturn. Venezuela went straight to poverty line, kidnappings and hunger from relative comfort just from oil crash
|
izzou:How much be all this boss? |
WhoDeyHause:You just dey yarn immaterial political talking points Oil budget benchmark is set at $70. Anything above that you save. Someone collected $100 and didn't save, plus still chopped the $22bln saving that was left for him, you are now asking someone that was collecting $25 to $50 to save No wonder so many Nigerians get surprised and start begging Landlord when rent is due. They have no concept how money works. How long it takes to build savings and how long to get out of debt. They want instant gratification. They have no concept of how their lifestyle for the past 12 months impacted their ability to pay rent on the due date. All the other stuff you mentioned are immaterial political talking points. Is it Jonathan that didn't ban certain imports, or you think Buhari is sponsor of herdsmen or what, to the point his own hometown is overrun by bandits? |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:Bolivia have ten times the budget of Niger and have not built a Nuclear POWER plant. They only received a small nuclear reactor to treat cancer patients using irradiation technology. It cost them $300m. Again, you have your numbers wrong. But Niger with less than $2bln budget will be looking for $15bln power plant to service a country that needs not more than 50MW presently. You never know wetin dey worry us. Same reason you have airports in every state in SE when PH and Onitsha is enough.
|
WhoDeyHause:Go and look at Venezuela after the oil crash. Yaradua left $22bln in the Excess Crude Account. The specific stated purpose of that money was to take Nigeria through an oil slump. Okonjo Iweala implemented it under OBJ for that purpose. Jonathan spent it and shared it with Governors which they ate. That's equivalent to more than one years budget then. Government is a continuum. Billions have been vanishing then and now. Nigerian politicians will never change whether the money is earned or borrowed But what you care about is your pocket, you don't care about the billions of savings squandered that should protect your future evidently, so let's examine what affects your pocket in the present What affects your life as common man is (a.) Naira value and (b.) Fuel subsidy Naira value is controlled by Forex reserves balance which is dependent on oil price Fuel subsidy is dependent on Government policy and whether Govt is willing to borrow to keep subsidy going. Buhari was willing to borrow to keep subsidy going and willing for CBN to spend $12bln a year defending Naira. He could not defend it all the way because oil price affected reserves and also demand for Naira The common man is lucky that Tinubu or Peter Obi did not replace Jonathan in 2015 otherwise they would have made you take the pain fully in 2015 since Jonathan did not leave any savings to cushion the pain like OBJ had left for him. Buhari is a socialist and kept up the standard of living with expensive subsidies and monetary policy within the means available to him. For what concerns the common man (inflation), Buhari actually protected them. Me, I'm a capitalist with a long term view. I favour the Tinubu and Peter Obi way. Same way Buhari was protecting price of goods at great cost in 1984 until Babangida dropped the pain on them. You are complaining about the transition in standard of living from Buhari to Tinubu now, same way people complained about transition from Buhari to IBB in 1986. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:No be the koko be that How come 30MW is enough to cover 70% of their electricity need and you are calling for $15bln power plant for country with less than $2bln yearly budget? That's like buying tractor to plant crops in half a plot in your back garden. When you think with numbers you will be less emotional The fraudster is the one that will do MOU for you for $15bln nuclear power plant, when 100 MW fit cover your whole country need even 5 years from now. |
WhoDeyHause:Jonathan collected loan to pay salaries within 3 months of oil crash so no difference there Foreign Reserves which affect Naira value and therefore standard of living is not run on loans. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:The irony of blaming France for not installing nuclear power plant in Niger, then celebrating the fact that France installed only 30MW in solar power and it's enough to cover 70% of Nigers energy needs When you think in terms of numbers instead of ranting emotionally every time, truth will dawn on you. I think we can now conclude that Niger DO NOT need a $15bln nuclear power plant when common 30MW solar farm installed by France is doing the job We can also conclude that MOU signed with Russia for $15bln nuclear power plant in Burkina Faso is a FRAUD and white elephant project which they cannot afford in a whole lifetime, and just another avenue to siphon funds. . . . or the product of a stupid President's mind who cannot get his priorities and numbers straight. A soldier man unfit for office who should be in barracks doing frog jump instead of dictating policy. OkpaNsukkaisBae: Ibime: Ibime: |
afrodoc2:Tinubu is just IBB part 2. SAP is inevitable. SAP is simply absence of money. Absence of money will make you ADJUST. IBB just took fancy name from IMF |
Amigoss:There was a major oil slump in 1984 🤦🏽 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1980s_oil_glut You are preaching to the choir about Buhari policies, I am in agreement with you, but they are no less wasteful than Jonathans But because you are a lazy guy who only cares about price of goods and not what drives changes in them, therefore Buharis policy of defending the Naira will have kept your standard of living the same under both Governments, just that Buhari did not have as much Foreign Reserves to do so as Jonathan due to oil crash. That is all you care about with your lazy narratives, so you can be rest assured that what you care about is covered by oil price. But seeing that oil price and therefore revenue is cut by 80%, tell me how you expect to keep the same standard of living with 80% drop in your salary |
GloriousGbola:They even went on major tour with it that generated hundreds of millions. How man go cheat on him wife, both use am as basis for album and mega millions tour to broadcast the matter everywhere. Him go dey rap, him wife go dey sing about unknown Becky. We resemble mugu? Yahoo boys dey learn work where Jay Z dey. |
KingTom:You sef know. Almost everything that come out his mouth is "marketing" |
Amigoss:He did. Cut your salary by 80%, let me see if you expect to enjoy same lifestyle. |
BlueRayDick:The truth is the truth, APC or not You are encouraging intellectual laziness,.maybe you are lazy yourself. While APC mismanaged the small they had, borrowed like drunkards and did not tighten their belt, the crash in the Nigerian economy was inevitable. PDP is the Okrika Joseph who failed to save in the 7 years of plenty, while APC is the drunkard who could not adjust his diet through 7 years of famine. |
Melvyn11:No mention of oil price crash from over $100 to $27 between 2014 and 2015? Nigerians are very lazy people intellectually, I swear
|
Roland17:Believe Jay Z stories at your own risk. That nigga is all about the green and will never tell you the real koko, just highly curated narratives that fit his brand. He won't tell you about Dehaven, Jaz O and the rest, just what's convenient. Cheating scandal with a faceless person that they used as marketing tool to sell Beyonce album. We don't even know if the cheating scandal truly happened or if cheating is a normal thing that continues to this day in their relationship. All we know is it was a marketing tool and basis for her lead single and theme of the album. I don't bother taking any interview from Jay Z about his life serious, every single one I've seen is highly curated marketing. |
Unlimited22:Ugochukwu should have been Moscardo. I don't know what they saw in Ugochukwu. They are buying all these players for £25m thinking they will make profit in future, not knowing they are buying the top, especially in the case of Ugochukwu. They think everyone is Maga like them that will splash £100m on midfielder when a £30m can do the same job Even Caicedo and Enzo should have been Trindade and Varela, saving £180m |
Ballzproblem2:Another reason to get excited for 2027 season? ![]() |
BlueRayDick: ![]() Another angle |
Shegzdave:MRI has been used since the late 80s and players have been sent home since those days. Nigeria was even suspended for 2 years from underage competition in 1988, yet somehow the Kanus, Babayaros, James Obiorahs, Aghahowas, Yakubus, Femi Opabunmis, Haruna Lukman, Chrisantus all the way to Iheanacho continue to get through. MRI only catches players over 21 when their wrist bones fuse together, and even then, I personally know of men with over 10 years VAT that got through Under17 so NFF know how to work it. |
Kilishihunter:At least one Nigerian should make it to that age at high level Hundreds of Bazilians, Argentinians, Chileans, even Morroccans and co have made it to that level, I am waiting for just one Nigerian to do it for over 30 years now Afridoc2 done set you challenge. Afrodoc2 please help us out here with one or two examples. |
Kilishihunter:The proof is in which age they pafuka at high level. If Osimhen gets to 33 and still performing at high level, we will believe it then |
Capaldi:You talk like an illiterate, hence your bringing Evan Ferguson as counterexample. You sure you live in Italy legally? Since when has FIFA been doing MRI scan. FIFA did MRI scan for Nigeria 2009, and Amaesimaka exposed our captain Fortune Chukwudi for being 25 years old Besides that MRI scan checks for when wrist bones fuse which happens around 21, so you can be 21 claiming Under 17 and MRI scan won't fish you out. On top that NFF go still work am for 25 year olds like Fortune Chukwudi https://www.nairaland.com/350893/amiesimaka-releases-picture-evidence-nigeria
|
Shegzdave:That age profile is anything from 17 to 21 in those pics. He doesn't look younger than me at 21. Rewind back 3 years to get better view and tell me if this is a 14 year old.
|
Kilishihunter:Why he go falsify him age and lose him Russian Citizenship on the off chance he might become a footballer one day. I'm not sure about moving to Nigeria at 2 but Odemwingie was playing in Russian club academies from the age of 13 to 18 before moving to Benin at 19. Maybe his dad came back very briefly stage 2 but he grew up in Russia. Even his Naija accent no set, sound like something he tried to learn when he was already a grown man |
Kilishihunter:Odemwingie was born in Uzbekistan |
Kilishihunter:So your best example.in the last 30 years is Mikel and you done back down after small evidence. But now I should trust you with Nwakali and Osimhen. I have been watching Nigerian football for 30 years now and not one player born and raised in Nigeria has proven his age. The only Nigerian who played consistently to decent level till mid-30s is Wilson Oruma, and na brain he used survive the last 2 years cos you could see it in his body. I have seen over 1,000 Nigerian youth players in my time from under-17 to when they packed up, 80% of them before 30 and the other 20% shortly after. No make me do roll call for you. I have done my research on Osimhen. This is his picture 10 years ago exactly. This is not a 14 year old boy, this is a 17 or 16 years old boy, maybe even 18, but definitely not 15. So do your calculation from there to find the VAT on his age.
