SlyfoxxDaBoss: Pic 1: NBC’s initial reporting on the prisoner swap BEFORE Biden’s press conference
Pic 2: NBC’s edited version of the prisoner swap story AFTER Biden’s press conference.
When Trump called the media “Enemy of the people” he was not totally wrong. This is journalism malpractice of the highest magnitude.
A press that takes it cue’s directly from those in power that it is supposed to be holding accountable is a affront to everything the founding fathers stood for and the real “threat to democracy” that the democrats will never talk about. I did not know that petty larcenists and dishonourable discharges who stole from military take priority over athletes who have brought home two Olympic gold medals for USA. . . just because Trump said so Whelan is of no value. If he had been exchanged, they will say you exchanged a thief for a high profile prisoner. It's easy to talk from opposition without responsibility. He should wait till Yankee nab someone of his level to exchange

I see another Buhari in Biden indeed Nothing patriotic about that marine who was discharged dishonourably for stealing from the military, and besides the Russians never entertained his release. His level never reach to be prioritized over someone who has won two Olympic gold medals for USA.

Leyqute: As an attacker, I’m always thinking about the best and easiest route to score goals.
So, if we’re in a 2v1 and a defender commits himself to me that quickly, you bet I’m going to eliminate him by passing to the other guy. He forced me to make that decision, a decision which makes it easier for my team to score.
If he baited me whilst tracking my teammate, I’d be forced to make that decision myself. Do I want to go and score myself knowing that he will be in the path of goal? Or do I want to pass to my teammate so he could score- knowing that immediately I release the pass, na sliding tackle e go carry go meet am?
Making that decision will take me a few moments and I won’t be moving with the ball at top speed then. And I also have to act quickly because time is of essence.
An experienced attacker will delay the pass. And if the other guy is smart too, he’d spread the field. That way, he won’t be able to block the pass. And we’d have been forced to make that decision Retype this in Yoruba for Dayo please |

Pedri and gavi still has time to improve a lot. I don't even like how pedri sits too deep. raumdeuter: If Whelan is in jail for being a spy that means he was doing the country's job and should be prioritized over someone who doesn't hesitate to talk down America at every opportunity they get
Russia once offered Whelan plus another prisoner for Bout which US didn't consider or take..
Seeing that Biden will care more about the political goodwill from Griner peeps he conceded sharply
For Whelan you better find a way out for him soon Whelan ain't no spy, though the Russians say he is, the USA say he's not. He's a dishonourable dischargee, a petty larcenist, and unfortunately his status never reach to exchange with V Bout. And from what I read, Russians refuse to consider him saying they put spies on a level above. I'm inclined to agree with USA thats he's not a spy as someone who stole $10k from military will easily sell out secrets and not a good candidate for recruitment to spy agencies. It's only agenda that can put an Olympic medalist against someone sacked for stealing from military

A40: They play there because they are not making NBA level money. Can you compare the salary of an WNBA player to that of an NBA player. You say she's a star the same people fighting for her release are telling you if she was a Lebron, Jordan or even an NBA level player they would have released her sooner. So apparently she was not star enough
You're preaching to the choir at this point. I keep asking you why majority of the people chanting for her release were primarily from her demographic and not the entire country in unison pushing and putting pressure for her release
Where have you seen an Olympic medalist or citizen arrested and you have people complain that they gave up too much to get her back? I mean we have similar example on this very thread? You think he would hold the same sentiment for a Lebron or even a Dwyane Wade? Or Charles Barkley who's retired donkey years ago
Let's talk another thing and be objective for once. Do a poll right now and you will see that opinions on her release will be split across these Gender and Sexuality identity lines. So don't come to pretend when we can clearly see that the demographic she represents were the most vocal for her freedom. You are stating the obvious about money disparity. What I'm telling you is that winning two Olympic gold alone is enough for any country to push the boat out for you. All that LGBT talk is just your own bias speaking. In most countries, you will get Order of Merit, Knighthood etc for bringing home one Olympic gold much less two. In South Korea you would skip military service for even bronze medal. You are telling me that it's LGBT that got her off. Common Robinho wey no win anything major, Brazil are refusing to extradite him to Italy for rãpe charge. Abeg die this talk. All you can say is most people that don't watch WNBA won't care either way, but as for any Government she won two Olympic gold medals and two World Cups for, trying for her freedom is very natural, whether LGBTQ, straight, yellow, black or green. |

A40: Suggesting she was released purely on the back of her athletic feats is laughable and naive. If that was the case then the entire country would have been pushing for her release not just LGBTQ people and those pandering to that demographic
Me I say these things as they are. If she were that big a star she wouldn't be playing in damn Russia in the first place. Is there any WNBA player that does not play in Europe in the off season? She is a star, most dunks in WNBA history, double Olympic gold medallist and double World Cup winner. If she was straight, those are what you would use to judge her merits for release. Many groups campaigned for her release, from basketball fraternity to NAACP to LGBTQ but na only LGBTQ you see, maybe because her wife was the face of it. |

WhoDeyHause: Also other enemies of usa will be watching and setting traps in future for any american that enters their territory or allies. This already happens regular. Iran kidnaps many British and US citizens visiting Iran and accuse them of spying, just to use them as leverage to get back some money that USA and UK seized in 1970s. I think they seized like $400m of Iran money back then. There was one old British-Iranian woman (Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe) who was just visiting home and they seized her and made up charges of her being a spy until UK dropped the gbese they had seized back then. Another British-Iranian-American guy was supposed to be released as part of the deal. After getting his hopes up from the British consulate that they had worked out a deal, my guy was getting ready to fly back, only to be told last minute that because he also has US passport, he won't be released because Yankee never drop their own part of the gbese. |

Like I said, most Republicans won't care because no American left behind has always been an ethos, and even the lowest American life has always been valued higher than the highest foreign life in the American way of thinking. I just call out the propaganda and indoctrination to other weird extremes which some of them are trying to take it with this trans business where they have started calling our women birthing persons and vagina carriers. I had always thought detaining anybody over vape cartridges was unnecessary. And people's freedom especially for trivial things like that I don't take for granted.
Whatever you feel about her she was someone's daughter, sister, wife/husband and she deserved freedom from the hellhole of a Russian jail. I'm sure she would have a better appreciation of America now
I was just warning Roland that if he takes this sentiments to an app like Twitter or Mainstream media he will be mercilessly cancelled
I know well and good the Democrats primary demographic and why Biden did the utmost to secure her release. You kept mentioning as if she is being released because she is LGBTQ only. Yes, that community will put pressure, but she stands worthy on her own accomplishments and status. You are talking of a basketball great and a National team star and winner. I don't see where LGBTQ comes in except to demean her status as if she is not worthy of being exchanged. You think if Caster Semeiya get arrested, South Africa will care if she's LGBTQ before they come for her? |

What I want to see is how it will transfer to NBA. The deal has been made nothing can be done about it.
I want to see pay gap arguments and whether these SJWs and Feminazis will ho-ha start asking NBA teams to dash them money Forget your disdain for LGBTQ, what do you think LeBron or Jordan is worth in a prisoner exchange? You are talking about arguably the greatest woman basketballer, you reduce her to small fry. Na this kain thinking go give Biden votes while you dey write her off based on LGBTQ, not knowing 50% of the population (women) have votes too, and they will ask what Biden would have done if it was LeBron or Jordan. Roland17: Should have allowed her sit in jail until we got a good deal, I don’t care. We have thousands of Americans incarcerated because of small amounts of weed but we exchange a notorious gun runner because Britney forgot she was traveling to Russia with a contraband.
Meanwhile, we still have Paul Whelan who is being accused of being an American spy stuck in Russian Gulag since 2018; even though it has been proven he is not a spy. Wouldn’t that have been a fairer and more balanced trade?
Biden lost me on this one.. These things is also who put pressure for you. Griner is like a confluence of the LGBT, black, basketball and weed community, not to mention shes a double Olympic gold medallist and double world cup winner for USA. That's four big communities putting pressure plus one of your sporting stars. It's like Naija bailing out Blessing Okagbare. You may not watch her sport but millions do. Nobody know the Whelan guy unfortunately, he gast wait till them dey exchange small fry especially if he is not really a spy. GloriousGbola: Hmmm.
When we were discussing Google maps earlier I wanted to comment. Because I regularly have to reference my history in Google maps for actual coordinates of places I have visited with respect to proposed projects.
Yes, you can google and find maps with our oil Wells and pipelines. But how specific are those maps? Can you use those maps to physically locate the pipelines if you had to navigate through the Bush to find them? Below, you can pay $500 to get specific coordinates of all pipelines and wells. Any nigga intent on this business will easily access such a report. Secondly all pipeline security is local and agreements existed between oil coys and warlords even before amnesty. All nooks and crannies are known inside out by the local warlords before the amnesty program. To bunker in that area, you just have to sever the relationship between the warlord and FG. For example Ateke secures pipeline in Okrika, Eleme and Ogoni. He knew every nook and cranny since early to mid-2000s. This is not a case of FG giving out location but a case of FG failing to keep up the goodwill and arrangements that secured the network with the local warlords. Delta wahala is being fixed by Tompolo which has added about 600k barrels to our daily production. The origin of that decline in Delta was simply Buharis beef with Tompolo over NIMASA. The last pic below is pipeline running outside my house in the Villa. As a kid, I have run on this pipeline from source to NNPC to Jetty where it's disbursed, I can follow any inlet into the bush if I want just like any local. I wouldn't need FG to tell me where to tap if I was a bunkerer. And @ Android, Boyloaf is not dead but very much alive and securing pipelines in Bayelsa. That's the nigga that blew Bonga oilfield in 2008.

Within each company, there will be limits on how much information about the network is available, because vandalism has been a thing since the 90s and there is clearly insider information. So ultimately Who do you think will have the map of the complete network, particularly as this will be a confidential, need to know document? Oil production dropped to 700k bpd before amnesty
After Amnesty it went back up to 2m bpd
For the last few years, it has been back to 1m bpd, although seems to be rising in recent days to 1.6m.
Whatever the merits or demerits of amnesty, the capacity to steal Naija oil flows significantly was there before amnesty. |

Donjazet2: I wanted to ask hopefullandlord sef for proof of his claim that the west was responsible for ousting a democratically elected leader. The leader ousted himself by reneging on a trade deal with EU which the people wanted and the Parliament had signed off, in order to sign an exclusive trade deal with Russia which would tie them into poverty. This sparked off riots and of course the West supported those protesting, just like Russia supports the other side. All these stories mean nothing. The pursuit of wealth and improved living standards for the average citizen is the main driver of Ukrainians support for the deal with the EU, and the President betrayed the aspirations of the people and parliament in a show of executive recklessness, and that is why they wanted the President out. If Buhari should turn down a juicy trade deal with EU or USA to sign one nonsense with whoever, I will personally contribute toward the riot against him. Below GDP per capita relative growth rates since the fall of Soviet Union juxtaposing the economic performance of former Soviet States who chose economic ties with the EU vs Russia and those countries under its influence like Ukraine and Belarus shows why any right thinking country will choose the path of prosperity. We are all common people, and the wealth and happiness of the common man is what we should root for, not stories about political power games between autocrats and politicians.

hopefulLandlord: I believe there are situations where separation "can" be useful like in the case of Donbass, Donetsk and Luhansk which is part of why the war in Ukraine is happening. to simplify the situation someone who favours the Russians, who are the majority of people in those places, was elected president. the west didn't like that so they did some underground work that ended up removing a democratically elected leader and then installed one that favours the west. this made the people in those places revolt and said they no longer wanted to be part of Ukraine anymore. Ukraine military with the help of Azov Battalion Nazis then started bombing those people which is why they cried to Russia to help them. This is an oversimplified version of the event but I believe in a situation like this, call for separation is kinda valid False. Donbass and Luhansk are/was majority ethnic Ukrainian. It's about 60-40 split in ethnicity between Ukrainians and Russians in both regions. The census is there. The Russians just formented trouble when things in Kiev didn't go their way
