It's becoming obvious that the future of crypt0 now is defi... Likely that's why the old coyns with no viable blockchain are suffering... Just look at eith... Fees and staked eith alone is enough to give it structure...

All-in-all, this rally hasn't been a bad one so far... I've not really started taking stock as I'm still looking to buy. My annoyance na sol and shib... Didn't maximize those two as I overtraded them... Shib alone should have given me over 200k if I did the right thing wey dey obvious to me...
Na after shib wey I go stake half of my ONE and most of other coyns I hold... Highest I use the remaining half to trade and accumulate more.... If market goes as planned, na January the better cash out go start...

But then, most of the coyns I hold have started doing stuff... Accumulated dot well below 30... Same with LINK too...and recently ada at 2.... I no dey even look them. Hopefully, they should do close to 5x...


After this rally is done, person suppose get good amount of stables yielding profits. Na where I go deploy my final fiat now I dey find

XRP have a conference coming up on the 12th, and growing anticipation over their court case. That thing must surely pump before bullrun is over.

FTM is underpriced in comparison to SOL and others

I also overtraded SOL and SHIB, playing various levels when a HODL would have been life changing rather than life improving. Only one I played well was ADA TBH cos I sat in it.

Safemoon was a scam that grew too big for the Dev to go through with. He is still holding too much supply as do other whales. I don't think it can be listed with such structure.

You still dey deploy fiat? I only deployed fiat once in January and have now returned 2.5x of it home. There is a freedom that comes with trading only profits that allows one to make more risky capital allocation moves. That was partly the reason I returned a good chunk home, to cut out the capital protection instinct. If not for that instinct, one could have closed eye and put major capital in certain coins for a HODL.

Liquidity pool too low on Evergrow, and whales can move price 50% in minutes. I played it for a 2.5x and dumped.

I also think Safemoon has had its run. Safemoon will never gain acceptance into Bïnance or Cõinbase exchange, probably not Kucoin

Don't know much about Feg but their community has always made noise on social media. They have their own exchange FEGEX so they could transition into mainstream acceptance.

For this area of the market, I'm mostly playing new launches

Brings me to my main point, with the testimony by @ its more obvious that buying and holding certain coyns isn't a bad strategy afterall for this stage of the market. Time for day trading huge swings would soon come

It does seem that for coyns listed on multiple exchanges, the sweet spot is between 1-5 bill usd.... It's sensible that good projects in this range could see upto 10x move and largely outperform the market before the current market cycle tops out.


The problem now is knowing what good projects lie in this range... I've been looking into this lately and these are my top 5 picks for now (excluding meme coyns)

1. Harmony... A layer 1 which has gone largely unnoticed but has performed well... Since this rally, I've got more than a 3x from harmony... One thing peculiar about it is the fact that it has deep retraces after a good rally so one can easily compound. Also the 'cheap' listing price could attract new folks... With a current valuation of 3.6 B, I believe it could do a 10x...


2. CRV... For the layer 2s, it has the highest value locked right now. Most of the crv tokens are staked long-term. Yet it does seem to have a much lower market cap than layer 2s with less TVL and following... I believe it'd catch up soon. I'm not yet in, but would look to get in. I'd expect a 5x at least.

3. 2. Chiliz... I'd regard this as a layer 1 too... It and it's sport tokens have hardly moved

Others would be
a. Kusama... The baby brother of dot.... Has been a strong one for a while but its 'high' price tag seems to drive new folks away
b. Tfuel... I don't know what this coyn does but itd pump when it would no doubt

C. Aave and cake.. close call but I'd go with cake...


There are strong perfomers in the 5-20 B range, but I'd skip this. To me, the top dogs here would be terra, avax, link matic and .....

Thanks for this. I'd say most Layer 1s have had the majority of their pump. Coins with most measurable upside for me are FTM, XRP, One and Matic even though only ONE is in $1-$5bln category.

Stillmatic really played that HODL like an OG. Sometimes the best thing to do is HODL, which is like OpenHeaven strategy. Na why I just hold FTM and XRP and don't look much at Bïnance again

Dogezilla hasn't rugged but when whales start selling, it will drop like stone as liquidity pool is only 1/70th of market cap.

Coins with low LP to marketcap ratio moon faster and also fall like stone. We saw how Evergrow fell 60% in minutes due to low LP pool. Luckily the community bought it back up.

Ideally an LP pool should be 30% to 50% of marketcap but with hyperdeflationary tokens these days, we are seeing 10% and less. If you are in such a token, you have to know when to jump off before the musical chair stops. Evergreen which I'm in is one of such with 10% LP to marketcap ratio, however I have not seen anything as bad as this Dogezilla with less than 2% LP ratio. When it eventually crashes, it will feel like a rug.

Most upside in Layer1s is FTM, that's why I'm not shedding my bag. FTM is said to have more transaction volume than SOL and is criminally underpriced in comparison. Only drawback with FTM is it's shitty UI

One thing I've learned from this thread is that when a coyn becomes extremely popular here, that's hardly the time to buy it... We see examples everyday...

What I do when a coyn becomes too popular, I look at the chart, see how far extended it is from the weekly support, add it to my favourites and revisit after a few weeks... Then the picture is clearer then when folks who bought the top start asking what to do. Unfortunately, I get caught up with the hype sometimes

After a selloff, I go and look at such coins. That was how I loaded shib in Sept/oct

I added it to my favourites then and have been patiently waiting since. Most folks who bought then would have sure capitulated... It's at these lows whales like to fill their bags....
On PSG, I'm targeting an entry point of 18 usd for starters... That might not be the bottom but the risk to reward makes much more sense at such prices

It's rare to see such a lowcap listed. It won't take much volume at all to move it. It's worth some capital allocation.

Risks are it gets delisted due to low liquidity. However it could easily be a target for pump groups. Setting a 2 or 3x may cash out on a pump
