benalvino2: You are wrong. Let's say you have an auditing company A and Company B. The republicans hire A. The democrats don't have to believe A is a neutral company to audit something that may not benefit them should the result come out. In other to solve that issue, the democrats have to hire company B so they can be an oversight against themselves.
I don't know if you understand. In this case, no matter who republicans or democrats call to audit, the other side will complain. I've never read such crap in my life. I can't come and waste my time with süch stüpidity above |

All i said was the precision would have been better if he connected with the ball properly. I emphasized the word stretch The precision would have been better If his pass is imprecise, you mean he misdirected it? Now you won't tell us why he can't in the same vein have misdirected his shot only for Kimmich to rescue it. |

Havertz10: if kimmich followed havertz movement, he would have easily tapped in that goal, it's not havertz fault that he moved late
Using the final position of kimmich to argue against havertz's intention is comical, where did the ball drop after havertz's touch? In front of goal or on the line? Get your stories straight. Your friend below is saying it's because he had to stretch so he misdirected the pass, you are saying it's because Kimmich didn't move. Go and confer and come back with a story that matches. benalvino2: They called them to participate. There is only one way to get impartiality in such thing. By allowing partisan auditors from both sides so audit the ballots together. Democrats refused to participate even when they were invited. So me asking or want to know what they are hiding or what this audit will reveal is not a bad thing Ibime. There is no such thing as a partisan auditor. It may be overseen by a bipartisan board but the audit companies themselves are professionals. Get that through your head. There are professional companies that have been doing this.for decades. You don't get a conspiracy theorist who will even shoot documentary during the audit claiming CIA is rigging elections and expect the other side to join you in such a sham. Even the Republican board of Maricopa has poopooed the audit, you expect democrats to give legitimacy to such a sham |

Democrats right? Experienced election auditors and processes have been there for years even when Bush was fighting with Gore. This goes beyond being Partizanship to actually threatening democracy. |

Almajirihunter: Havertz hardly loses the ball these days, I think that aspect of his game has greatly improved. I don’t think he’s an out and out 9 but he’s intelligent enough to play that Losing the ball depends on the space you receive it in. Like Greatihex rightly pointed out, he doesn't have the sharpness or technique to constantly receive the ball in midfield without losing it but you get more space as a striker without bodies around to where you don't lose the ball as often |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 10:57pm On Jul 01, 2021 |
Capaldi: Next season will be an important season for Havertz in defining the role and type of player he ultimately becomes. Will be interesting to see if Tuchel continues to mould and further develop him as a striker.
For me at this point in time, I still see him as a hybrid between 9 and 10 positions. Probably siding on being more of a 10, but can play as striker if the need is there due to the gift of height and finesse. He's not quite the full striker package yet. He has certain elements already, both natural and skill set wise. But is still lacking in other areas and can further improve.
If he were to continue to become a bonafide striker position then I'd like to see him work on some strength, shooting, aerial heading. Also some instinctual elements like shaking off the timidness at times and play with more swagger. He is a better striker than a midfielder at this stage. Whatever improvement you think he needs to make as a striker, he needs double that to be a midfielder. I actually think he is a good striker already. I saw some high balls come into him and I was expecting defender to flatten him and head it out, but time after time, he managed to get some good flick ons. He can run in behind, he can drop deep. He can't dribble but he can travel ok with the ball. Most importantly, he has composure to place his shot. I like strikers who don't just blast the ball but pick their spot. Iheanacho and Van Persie come to mind. They even have similar build, all left footed and all are converted midfielders. Let's not forget the ultimate converted midfielder - Lewandowski. |

Greatihex: It is obvious that he is an intelligent player, but sluggishness will not cut it. How can you as a midfielder execute what you have in mind when before you trap the and turn the opponent already has it? The midfield is where every every happens, and the opposition is upon you from all angle. Any player in the midfield should have the sharpness to quickly turn away from opponents and quickly make something happen, not before you trap ball, dem don collect am. E no go work nah, especially in epl where the intensity is high. He needs to be isolated upfront as a striker where he will get the space to do all these |

PrideofLincoln2: I know that. I heard you have to pay extra money or something like that in Britain to watch Faux News. Ibime should let me know if I am wrong because I am not sure. Australia were glad to get rid of him when Reagan gave him the US citizenship in under one year. Rupert Murdoch's on his last leg on Earth anyway. British people know büllshit when they see it. They are used to real news, without outrage, hyperbole or inflammatory content. We thank the BBC for this. Even though I find it difficult to pay for socialised TV (we pay licence fee to fund the BBC), a part of me is thankful that the BBC has set the tone for news reporting in the UK and other news programmes have to follow. You can't just report anyhow in UK, otherwise British people will compare you to BBC and if your stuff is not factual and up to scratch, they will desert you for the BBC. Fox News is so hated in Britain and their viewership was non existent. We don't do hatred, outrage or antagonism on our news channels. Murdoch had to pull it from the airwaves due to low viewership. Imagine a British man who loves his National Health Service watching Sean Hannity ranting about Obamacare every night. He can't understand such madness. |

PrideofLincoln2: Depends on the kind of Pensions you get. Some are tax free till you are 62 and some you pay taxes on the spot if you borrow money out of your Pensions. I knew a colleague from Ghana who borrowed $50.000 from his Pensions to build a mansion in Accra, he ended up paying penalty on the funds because it's not due for pickings. Taking money out before a certain age will be taxable of course. In UK, you can access 25% of your pension tax free at 55, after that you have to plan your drawdowns for the rest of your life to minimise tax. What I meant is do you get taxed at source when you pay into your pension from your salary. I'll give an example. If I instruct my employer to put £1 from my salary into my pension, the full £1 goes into my pension. If I instruct them to pay me instead, they have to first deduct 40% income tax and 12% National Insurance leaving my net pay as 48 pence. So in essence, the instruction for them to pay straight to my pension has already doubled my money from 48 pence to £1 |

PrideofLincoln2: It's not like that in US. I have my pension at my job and I have my 401K that my company matches my contributions monthly. That 401k is attached to the stock market and thankfully, if you stay in the market for long. It will be a Bull Market which means Chaching in your Bank Account. So your pension contributions are taxed at source? In UK, it's tax free up to £40k per year. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Democrats Take Control Of Congress by Ibime(m): 10:03pm On Jul 01, 2021 |
Tdotbluejays1: Similar to my plan as well. Employer matches contributions with more than what I actually put in. I don't bother much about how the money is invested by the pension plan, however I also also use the pension as tax relief at tax filing period. It makes sense. Which other investment can double your money instantly? Just delay gratification small till you reach the age you can access it, and if you die before then, it goes to your family which is the reason we all save anyway. |

PrideofLincoln2: You are correct about pensions too. Once in a while when I look at my 401K, I say thank you to the Good Man above because I know I don't have to depend on any children in my old age to live a very good life. Pensions are actually better than property to me depending on the tax regime in your jurisdiction. For me I get £1 added to my pensions for every 48 pence I put in. That's instant doubling and then you let the stockmarket give you yearly gains as well ontop. The only caveat is you cannot access your pension tax free here till 55 |

PrideofLincoln2: Homes are major parts of Americans wealth all things considered. We bought our 1st home which is still our primary residence about 22 years ago for $245.000 and the last appraisal we had done is that it's worth almost $600.000 now with just few months to pay off our mortgage. The first thing you learn in a Business School in America is that you build your wealth first through home ownership. Egbon, don't let Umudike Republicans hoping for N200K salary see this now. Temper flossing with mercy. I would expect more gains after 22 years sha. It's like Americans are learning work when it comes to the British and property price increases. I've done 94% in 11 years on my first flat and 42% on the family home in just over 6 years. But I find nothing gains more growth than pensions due to the tax relief. That one is instant doubling of money. |

Greatihex: that is when the ball is on the ground. What of when it comes from the air. Remember, he is not a speedster like Werner. He is sluggish, which affects his dribble, (especially important in epl) so his game as a striker will be limited to making few touches and scoring. He can't carry the ball and a long distance beating one or two players to score.
For me, Havertz playing as a striker is just like Alonso playing as a striker. Havertz may just be a little bit better with strength and little pace. Havertz has done alright to make the ball stick in the air from what I've seen so far. You just highlighted the characteristics a striker needs to be able to play all styles of football I mentioned Arnautovic here who is strong, fast, tall, can dribble and run with the ball, all for £0, Havertz10 want comot my head. |
