User09:
Conte won the premier league with it on a longer stretch than the UCL and not a short term solution as u say.

Stop trying to undersell Tuchel's performance
And Conte also failed to make UCL next year from a combination of factors including teams getting to grips with 3-4-3 by countering it with 3-5-2. Fact is that history does not support long term success of this formation and has not produced a UCL champion from it, maybe not since I started watching football sef.

I hail Tuchel for his work but nobody should use that to start pushing specialist players upon us like Jorginho, Alonso, Rudiger etc. This is not the first time they have had good spells. Every three months, they have a good run, then as soon as their protection is taken away, they collapse again. Chelsea board don't know what they are watching and will start extending these players contracts thinking they are our future, not knowing they only thrive in the specific peculiarities of the system afforded them. That's how we carried specialist players like Ramires and co for years and could never build a consistent team around them, acting like a Schizophrenic team that does well for few months then collapse later when these players are found out under different system or set of circumstances.

Like for example, someone is now hailing Jorginho over Kante and Kovacic. I actually agree that Jorginho has better positional awareness than both. He has to, since he is so slow. But positional awareness will not help you when there is space to cover rather than bodies joined together closely in midfield and back 3. The minute you take away that back 3 from Jorginho and put him in a midfield 2, he will get ran through as usual whereas Kante can play in any system. We need robust players, not specialists, so no one should start hailing weak players based on system. Alonso is another one. Good as wing back, but completely useless as full back. I have never seen Rudiger or Chris play well consistently in a back 4 but all of a sudden they are toast of the town in back 3 now.

No be today these all start, I was campaigning against specialist players like Ramires, Oscar, Fabregas, Mikel when they were in winning teams, and over the long run these players cost Chelsea consistency and were eventually found out and shipped on. We will all be here just like we have been over the last 3 years when Jorginho is being hailed one minute then becomes liability next minute. I rather put my hat on Pulisic and co long term than be hailing weak players just due to a stop gap solution.

OJURONGBE1:
Just imagine that nonsense.
Is it not the same Jorginho we've been watching for over 3 seasons?
He couldn't hide his contempt for Lampard.
Don't mind that effeminate guy jare. That's why when it came to playing Atleti and Manure, Jorg was benched. Building house upon sand that even Jorgis mentor Sarri could not turn us into a consistent side on that foundation. Because we play 3 centrebacks now, everybody weakness is being hidden.

Yes, a good manager accentuates strength and hides weakness but in the long run, you don't get paid to accentuate Rudiger, Jorginho and Alonsos strength while setting up system that weakens Pulisic and Ziyech. Shey na 3-4-3 we go play forever ni?

A prize awaits anyone that can name a team that won UCL playing 3-4-3 in the last 15 years. A system built to accommodate weak players is neither a long term solution, nor a foundation for growth. It's just something to get us through short term in some positions we are glaringly weak in. Even the Tuchel does not routinely play such formation in his career.

Torres too was a hustler o.. their style of play is very similar. Torres would have even buried some of those chances Werner is missing.
Torres hustle no get that much speed or power just like Sheva used to hustle ineffectively. Werner hustle is faster and still useful out wide since he cannot play 9 well.
