Moreso, wetin dey pain me be say we could have skipped Havertz and Werner signings just by keeping Barkley and signing Cavani for free.

Our only signings this season that have added anything are Mendy, Chilwell, Ziyech and Thiago.

That's why I wasn't seeing us as title contenders or trolling rival fans just cos we spent money cos fundamentally, I still felt we don't have a striker worthy of the club and insisted Werner is more of a support forward/winger.

I expected more from Havertz from the way he was being hailed as a generational talent, although I wasn't impressed when I saw his match against Inter. I also read somewhere that he has the body language of Ozil which I confirmed in the Inter match and that set alarm bells ringing.

Anyway, let's see.

First half was our poorest performance under Lampard on par with Sheffield Utd last year

The Arsenal we expected is not what we saw as they got rid of the static Willian for the fast and furious pressing of Smith-Rowe and Martinelli. They also released Tierney from the back 3 to add another attacking option. I think the team were taken aback by this, having banked an easy game in their minds.

That said, we were unlucky to concede foolishly from set-pieces from individual mistakes from two of our usually reliable players (James and Kante) and once that happens, you have to chase the game, leaving yourself open to counterattacks. Arsenal also expended a full season of luck on us with the fluke from Saka.

A poor result, but I'm not reading too much into it.

At start of season, I said Chelsea do not have a satisfactory striker and must go for Cavani but was told we already have 3, all of whom have glaring deficiencies in one aspect or the other.

Anyway, these sort of results happen. Let's keep the faith for now. The top of the table is cramped and one win or loss can take you anywhere from 2nd to 8th.

I think the decision will probably come down today by 6pm Eastern time and it will be very difficult for these idiots to swallow it. Supreme Court will decline to take the case because it's unconstitutional for the SCOTUS to overturn the will of the people. America is not some third world banana republic.

Supreme Court should take the case just to eviscerate it. They need to protect the court system against future abuse, or use as a Political football.
