There's little u can do to eliminate these kinds of ppl really. Except keep weeding them out as they come.

Locking entrance into the cup isn't a guarantee that u don't already have ppl with duplicate teams in there. U're just depriving other innocent people of the opportunity needlessly.

I do think we are overpaying for haverts and we know that sometimes price can become a heavy burden to a player. Just look at Sanchez and pogba and other expensive flops at man-u.
I guess the ultimate question is; is haverts worth more than 80 million? I absolutely don't think so, that kind of money will get you established stars, not "potential" stars. I mean we don't even know his specific position on the pitch.

Anyways, hoping he proves me wrong.

We could pay £45m for Van De Beek who is more established IMO and spend the balance on defence

the pressure in EPL doesn't help young players at all. Imagine what fans do to players like greenwood when they flop, or Odoi when injured. The mental attacks alone.

It wasn't mental pressure. Managers often prefer to give minutes to players owned by their clubs than loan players. In Gnabrys case, Pulis preferred to promote Jonathan Leko who is a West Brom product than give Gnabry time. I commented on it at the time that Gnabry is being unfairly treated just to promote Leko.

This is why I always say we shouldn't judge Chelsea loan army due to failed loan spells because a lot of politics is involved in the clubs they are loaned to.

There's also a first come, first served basis. Generally anyone in the top40 and any former Champion that applies early enough can get code. This is because many guys on the main league don't apply for FA Cup, so we can't be waiting for only the top 24 to apply as we will be waiting forever. The 24 spots are full now. It would be unfair to kick anyone out as they also performed well or are former Champions. Nihilist also missed out on FA Cup last season due to lateness. It's one of those things.

Suspension of FPL players from Regulars League

Following concerns raised by Jazet Blues manager Donjazet about random players joining the NL Euro-Regulars league, an unnamed player has been removed from the competition.

Secretary Ibime Ayapripri issued a communique this morning concerning the suspension and warning players who are not Euro Section regulars not to impinge on the sacred camaraderie and banter of this group - "This group was created by popular demand to foster banter throughout the season as Section Regulars are often unable to find such camaraderie on the main league due to the preponderance of many unknown players. Nairaland is a broad church, and we accommodate all entrants, but please respect the sanctity of the Regulars league."

In addition, a fraudster by the name of Eniola Hezekiah has been suspended from the Regulars league for trying to enter two teams. Such unsportsmanlike behaviour is frowned upon in FPL and Ibime Ayapripri has taken steps to suspend the teams concerned. Eniola Hezekiah may appeal the decision at the Court of Arbitration for Sport, also chaired by Ibime Ayapripri.

Administrative Error - Football Association expresses regret


The FPL Football Association would like to tender apologies to the management of MaziAlaye.

FA Secretary, Ibime Ayapripri has admitted to an administrative error in granting MaziAlaye access to the Cup. Hear him - "I would like to apologise profusely to MaziAlaye for signing off on their FA Cup entry. Upon further review, it was determined that MaziAlaye finished nearly 4 millionth in the World last season which is nowhere near enough to qualify for FA Cup. The Administration team had mistaken MaziAlaye for MaziOmenunko who is a successful and legendary FPL manager. With regrets and sincere apologies, MaziAlaye has now been withdrawn from the FA Cup as there are much higher qualified players deserving of that spot. MaziAlaye will now be compensated with entry into the Carling Cup."
