Sharrap!..Next time you are at ends i'll teach you how to play footy properly.

Absolutely not. Age is no barrier. It's a limitation you put on your mind. I'm actually shocked you've been in the country this long and you only follow one sport. Worst still by my guesstimation, you were in your mid teens when your parents bundled you out of Naija so I repeat How is it possible you only follow one Sport?
Because I was a participator in that Sport till I left Uni. No time bro. You can't play 11-a-side Wednesday and Saturday, training on Monday, Powerleague on Thursday, work double-shift on Sunday to pay rent and be following other sports. I still have my boxing and Athletics to follow as well plus other European leagues to watch before I think of another sport jare. I leave that to the cheerleaders and Jack of all trade and master of none. And BTW, any ball sport using hands to play is anathema to me. I can never dig it.

Actually we lost our two top CBs, but that isn't an excuse.

Lampard system is worrisome, corner kicks , fks, any attack on the box is a scare.

This transcends players abilities and inabilities.
Does the Goalkeeper losing all confidence whatsoever to come off his line on setpieces have something to do with this? At least 10-15 goals this season could have been prevented by a more aerially dominant goalkeeper.

It depends on the age you got here. If you got to America as a teen you probably will pickup their sports.
Roland17 probably got to America earlier than I did so he grew up with American sports. I got here at over 25yrs old, fully grown and set in my ways. I still watch basketball and American football especially the playoffs
College years is too late to be a passionate fan of something you can't even play.

How will only one man be a fan of a club in hockey, baseball, basketball and Gridiron plus two football clubs.

That one na cheerleader, no be fan.

Should we call him Cheerleader17 or Anywherebelleface17?

You can also add the following Ball sports to the List too

1)Rugby- 2nd favourite Ball sport after footy. 80 minutes of intense end to end high octane action. What's there not to love? Watching the Lads lift the Webb Ellis trophy in 03 remains one of my fondest sporting memories.

2) Cricket - Most especially in the Oned day(50 overs) and 20 overs format. The only time I purposely follow Test Cricket is when the Ashes comes around.

3) NFL - my love for this particular sport comes from the time period when a certain Barry Sanders ruled the roost.

4) Lawn Tennis- Head down to SW19 next year
When the Most prestigious Major in the sport is on and tell me if you won't fall in Love. You only realise the tremendous amount of Fitness and Skill it takes to be somewhat competitive at the highest level when you watch them up close and personal. It's a thing of beauty I tell you.

5) Golf- I practically only follow the Majors so there is that.

In addition to these aforementioned sports, I can give you a list Non Ball Sports I either follow or I am quite conversant in. Variety is the spice of Life o.

Btw who says I don't follow any Team in the League?
Jack of all trade, master of none tongue

How dare you forget Arsenal? Replace the Patriots with the Packers, don’t forget my Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks and as a vested alumni, every sport team my College team plays in the NCAA. I am passionate about these teams, have different paraphernalia of each team, some financial interests, travel to watch at least one live game of most (Celtics/ Cubs/ Packers).

Lol there is a limit to how much love one can have in one’s heart.

The only club I have permanent live for is Manchester United.

In NFL i currently like the KC Chiefs but before then it was the Seahawks and before then the Ravens. I generally root against Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.
I have a soft sport for the Steelers cos of the Steel curtain defence.

In the NBA it is the Bucks cos of Giannis but previously it has always changed from era to era. Was all in with MJ and the Bulls though so I generally root against Lebron.
That's just general followership of the Sport like how someone could be passively supporting Kobe or LeBron, Venus or Serena every now and then.

Imagine now passionately supporting Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, Arsenal and AC Milan in the same weekend every week. No be HBP go kill that kain pesin? cheesy

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer went into a away leg 2 goals down with 10 first team players missing & came out victorious becoming the only manager in history to do so

He also ended the game with 2 kids on the field, one of whom was a 17 year old Mason Greenwood, making his debut

Levels.
Good. . .what was the score in Quarterfinal when Ole met Barca?

I sha disagree...I for one follow football and basketball, as well as some other sports like Formula 1 and Tennis.
Though football is my main poison, so to speak.
If you follow and participate in football from a very young age, and it is ingrained in you passionately, you can't just wake up in your teenage years and follow BBall except you are forming. Na those wey their leg never strong for football, and probably sick of being minus one on the football pitch go wake up in their teenage years to follow basketball.

I also follow other Sports I participated in like table tennis, boxing and Athletics, but when it comes to team ball games, it can only be football. Any other team sport, I may just watch the final if I can be bothered. Don't be surprised, these forming guys will not only follow BBall, they will also follow American football, all in an effort to form cheesy

Those who lack skill to participate live their life as stans. How can someone like Roland17 be supporting Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, AC Milan and Arsenal in the same life? If you check well, he also has American College football team and College basketball team he's supporting. Is that person not confused. cheesy
