babytoun: instead of Said Benrahma for 30m why not consider buying back Boga for 15m?
this Said Benrahma look like a lazy player o...epl need some kind of robustness Sassuolo already paid us £10m last month to forego our buyback and sell on clause on Boga, meaning we do not see him in our future plans, and have already chopped our Boga money and clean mouth. |

Unlimited22: There's absolutely no way Werner will play LW unless we are totally out of options. And we have four competitions and a packed schedule. Faustino Anjorin is far from ready. Mount and Havertz are square pegs in round holes.
And let us not forget that Ziyech actually is a CAM. Ziyech is not playing CAM in Chelsea bro. He is playing right-wing where Benrahma will forever sit behind him. Total waste of money and law of diminishing returns. We already have 3 wingers and another 3 capable of playing there on the odd occasion the first 3 are injured. |

chic2pimp: Chris and Bats should not a problem if as it looks you Guys are willing to let them leave. Jorginho is the problem as I reckon they'll be a few teams vying for His signature. Good to know he's got interest in Italy so hopefully a sale should materialise |

Unlimited22: Willian is leaving. So is Pedro. That leaves just Pulisic, Hudson-Odoi and Ziyech.
We need one more. Kai Havertz is a lot of things but he's not an effective winger. Werner is a winger as far as I'm concerned, plus Anjorin. Also Mount and Havertz can play there. Having four wingers out-and-out wingers is a waste of time unless a couple of them can play Striker or AM. Otherwise one or two of them will die on the bench. |

hensben: I don’t see anything special in Sergio. And also Spanish full back seem to struggle in epl. Say no to Spanish players for now. Kenedy is stronger, faster, taller and better attacking than Sergio. Sergio is not a defensive beast that Kenedy cannot match with 6 months of training. |

Unlimited22: Here's to hoping Fulham beat Brentford
Sergio Reguilon, Said Benrahma and Mathias Ginter will be cheap enough and good enough to allow us go for Havertz and a top keeper.
Getting rid of the Deadwood will be an awesome plus too. Upon all our wingers, you still want Benrahma? |

chic2pimp: I'd definitely take Jorginho without even giving it a second thought. His game suits Serie A down to the tee. He'd absolutely thrive here. I also won't mind both Chris and Bats at the right price. We are in dire need in both of those areas and see those players helping not hindering our squad depth. Chris most especially. OK, Speak to your people and stump the cash |

airmark: If you don't follow your post-operation instructions well, you will lose speed after recovering from ACL.
Not getting exposed, depends on the formation deployed at the back
We deployed 3 men at the back and Arsenal kept on using swift counter, targeting the space in our back line. You must be mentally and physically ready for that. I guess Lampard being closer to the players more than me and you, knew who was more ready for such.
Match rustiness can happen to any player, be it a defender or a Striker. The Tomori i saw in training was not ready and Lampard must have seen that too.
It's not about stamina alone, mental readiness is vital so as to make swift and proper decision. The last match he played for us, he was a shadow of his old self and a repetition of that couldn't be relied on in a keenly-contested final.
He wasn't ready.
https://j.gifs.com/P7Drn1.gif Tomori did not have ACL. He just had a small muscle injury that kept him out for 3 weeks. How did you determine he's lost pace from this gif? |

airmark: That's a gamble in a cup final against daring attackers.
We do blame coaches for not starting players, not knowing their fitness level may not be convincing to them a day to a match. We can see how Timbros is still pointing to injury of over a year as an excuse for Rudiger's foolishness.
On a serious note, If Tomori wasn't fit, the tempo of the match will consume him with time. The Tomori i saw in that video wouldn't match the swiftness of Pepe and Aubameyang. C'mon bro. Playing centreback is the least physically taxing position on the pitch. You don't lose speed when you've been injured, what you lose is stamina. You don't need much stamina to play centreback cos you get a lot of recovery time between attacks. Lesley King used to play centreback for 10 years without training all week. He would swim a couple of times in the week and play on weekend cos he had no cartilage in his knee. John Terry played the last decade of his career with back problems. You could never play midfield of fullback with these sort of problems. |

MorataFC: well, Romero standout among them but I don't think man u will let him come to Chelsea (2) £10m? I doubt that.. Romero is 31 with 2 year left on his contract. Manure will easily let him go if he express desire to leave. They will even think that selling us their no2 means we are getting a substandard product, not knowing he will be a vast improvement to us. |

Roland17: You should be shooting for Dubraka sef. That man is so under rated and will not cost more than 15m-20m Just in case they don't let Dubravka go, Darlow is also good. Given Dubravkas age, £20m shout be about right |

MorataFC: like who and who? Nubel just moved for free. Manure can give up Romero for less than £10m Arreola should be priced at £20m Newcastle will give up Karl Darlow less than £10m Bournemouth will give up Ramsdale somewhere around £15m Look, there are many keepers much better than Kepa and Caballero that can be copped under £10m all round Europe and even in England. See that Martinez dude at Arsenal. If Arsenal refuse to give him 1st team shirt next season, he can move to us like Luiz moved to them Someone mentioned the Cagliari keeper here the other day. That's a hungry club that would take some small amount. |

airmark: But we don't even know Timori's fitness level. He didn't look sharp in a brief training session i watched online. Tomori has been back two weeks before FA Cup You should know centrebacks don't need to be super fit like midfielders and fullbacks because they get so much idle time to recover during games |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 12:59pm On Aug 03, 2020 |
swiz123: Apart from Rudiger making that school boy error against arsenal, I think Christensen also made a bigger one.
When trying to slide the ball off an attacker in such situation, the RULE is to slide it towards your goalkeeper and not backwards. Reasons being that, your opponents will be better placed to get to the ball than your teammates.
But of course, this is Chelsea where one defender makes a mistake and the others will gladly add finishing touches to it Christensen only problem there was lack of pace. If he had pace to get there in time, he would have cleared that ball without having to slide. Again, that's on Lampard cos a Zouma or Tomori in that position will get there with time to spare. Christensen had no business coming on when Aubameyang was our major worry with his pace and only Tomori can keep up with him. Sliding back that ball to Kepa is a no-no. You slide to the throw-in line not to keeper. |

Lana.1, afrodoc.2, Oasi.s007. . You can almost see a pattern here. Like they were factory-fitted with a preset level of intelligence. The closer to 0, the smarter they would appear. That perfectly explains the stupidity of those 2 clowns, they are so far down the scale to come up with anything worthwhile They are all drill rappers and gañgbangers. The numbers on their name is the name of their set/gang. Useless people. |
