NinjaMetahuman:Another Party man spotted |
nihilistjnr:Bros it's not mortality rate matter, it's about availability of ICU beds for ventilation. 10% of patients in Italy needed ICU while 20% in China needed ventilation. Without this ventilation, Mortality rate would be much higher, eg Iran was approaching almost 10%. NHS is already at 80% ICU capacity. Imagine 10million people catch the virus, it would be a catastrophe. Even in Italy, where they ventilated 60+ year olds, they said after 2 weeks, Under-45s started presenting for ventilation in large numbers after exhausting their physiological capacity to fight the virus themselves. Then consider that at certain ages and with certain health conditions like COPD, HBP, Cardiac problems, it is almost certainly fatal without ventilation. This is not a lottery virus..if you fall in those categories, your own done be without serious intervention, therefore those sectors of the population will drive Government response. We cannot ventilate everyone, so as numbers expand, this will get worse. I just signed off on buying 4 Hazmat type suits for one of our Hospitals at £1k each. That's £4k. The filters are £100 each and can only be used once per shift. To treat one patient for two weeks for 4 people (2 nurses, House Officer and Consultant), we had to buy 112 filters. So that is £11k of filters for one patient plus £4k of suits. Now imagine 1 million people have this thing, there would be serious problem. I think it's the other way, and Governments are doing well to control the panic sef. This has the potential to bring serious societal change eg. prisons will be abandoned (already happened in Iran with all low level prisoners released, and in Italy where there have been constant prison riots resulting in drafting of the army to control). Who wants to work in a prison at this point, to sacrifice their health for prisoners? As things go along, you will be seeing Government and Health professionals making decisions on who and who cannot receive treatment. Just as Govt will not dedicate resources to prisoners, you will start to see decisions being made on certain groups of people eg by age, immigration status etc. That's without going into economic impact, supply chain disruptions, mortgages and loans on hold or defaulting, impact on company earnings and subsequently on pensions etc. We just have to hope for a cure or vaccine at this stage. Who I pity na USA where there is no Govt control over their Health Sector where Hospitals are owned by Shareholders. They will not be able to give a coordinated response eg they have tested 10 times less patients than Britain and have double the cases. All testing is done by private Hospitals and requires payment. By the end of this Covid-19, we may see popular call for social Healthcare in USA etc. |

airmark:Now I feel like singing Welcome back |
TeflonBlixx:I've seen Man City vs Barca match live in 2015 where Barca was dragging Busquets to odd positions in the midfield and defence anytime City launch a goalkick cos Mascherano and Rakitic could not cope in the air. Every high ball, all the Barca players left it for Busquets to leave his natural position and go and head the ball. That let me know you need mix of heights in midfield. If Kante/Jorginho/Gilmour were to partner in midfield, opposition would be building second attacks just by launching ball in the air and wait for Gilmour and Kante to be beaten on the knockdown. |
airmark:Gilmour should not lose his place for now. Kante should be under threat cos he doesn't vibe with other midfielders on passing and we can't be having too many short men in midfield. Him and Gilmour combination is too short. |
raumdeuter:There is no such thing as Monarchy in Naija again. Monarchy is a game of survival. To survive, you simply shüt up. Did Ahmadu Bello not remove his grandfather? Even Awolowo removed Alaafin once upon a time. If you see the way Wike spoke to Rivers Kings recently, you will know these guys are servants. Some first class Kings have to dobalê to LGA chairman behind closed doors sef in order to keep their stool. Nothing like ordained by oracle again. |
raumdeuter:I will give it a bit more time yet. Market is nowhere near bottom. Market has been overheated for years with too much money chasing too little value. 2016 levels are still a 25% drop away. That's about right in terms of residual value assuming no major catastrophe. I dare not check my pension pot, just hoping that the low risk option I picked is weighted more toward fixed income assets like government bonds etc My sister works for J&J and her stock options have been doing great till now. I told her since January to exit that too much cash is chasing too little value and Corona would be the trigger that panics the markets into true value, but she argued that their health products and their work on Coronavirus vaccine would keep them up. I told her she can't escape market risk, now she's lost 10% but not as bad as the rest of the market sha.

timbros:A party man has no conscience. A party man can be the type to call Sanusi a revolutionary in 2014, then celebrate his dethronement today just because he spoke the same truth to APC that he spoke to PDP in 2014. Another name for party man is sycophant. |
Regretting my decision to go with Perez over Barnes, but with 72 points so far, I cannot complain too much. |
A40:Serie A suspended for one month. I don't think they'll be able to complete their league season, or they will declare on 30 games and call the season complete with no relegation. They way Coronavirus is expanding in UK, EPL may just about reach 38 games with the last 4 or 5 played indoors.
|
timbros:You are arguing with a party man. You don buy market. I wish you luck. |
obainojazz:Did you travel to Australia via South Africa? Obainojazz! I wish you well for Oz jare. |
Kimbeast:African heat will limit the spread of the virus. You won't be able to catch it from surfaces unlike Europe cos the virus would die on surfaces in Africa. Transmission will only be from person to person which should reduce the rate of infection considerably |
raumdeuter:Thankfully I got all these since January as well as FFP3 masks because I was following the Corona developments intensely as my daughter had just developed asthma in the last few months. As of now, I have completed my preparations including buying oxygen, Salbutamol inhalers and Chloroquine which were successfully used to treat patients in China. I also bought stethoscope and blood oxygen monitor to monitor the lungs and oxygen levels. Last thing I was dithering on was buying mortgage protection insurance for redundancy as both my wife and I work in finance roles in private health and I can see some risk of redundancy (eg our cancer patients dying leading to revenue loss, people avoiding non-core treatments or Govt sequestering our Hospitals for Corona effort) . After reading this, we just close eye and purchase the thing tonight. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/health/coronavirus-italy-doctors-intensive-care-deaths-a9384356.html |

FBS! GIROUD! |
hensben:The boy is a pleasant surprise for his size. Jorginho should just stay on suspension for now |
airmark:It depends if they are outside Milan already. If they are already outside Milan, they will play, but they can't return home. As of this morning, nobody allowed to enter or leave Lombardy region which includes Milan. |
BlueAngel444:We only include one leftback in matchday squad. You only have 6 outfield substitutes, you can't waste 2 on fullbacks. When Alonso was out the team, he never made bench either. Azpi will move across to leftback if Alonso gets injured. |
A40:This one Milan has been quarantined, do you think AC and Inter will be allowed to play games till season end? Quarantine means no travel in or out, so I can't see how they would let them play. |
A40:I'm not sure it's cardio levels. He is not attentive defensively, and tries to dribble too much through midfield, often losing the ball like Afrodoc2 pointed out. I am not a fan of central midfielders who run with the ball except the likes of Dembele, Kovacic and Wijnaldum who hardly lose the ball. Central midfielders first thought should be passing the ball before running with it. That's why I hated Ramires, Bakayoko, Sissoko and co. I thought Ndombele may have better technique than to be losing ball upandan but he is falling into their category from what I've seen so far this season. |
BlueAngel444:James has not been defending well. His wing has been leaking a lot of goals. I can't argue with the decision. |
NinjaMetahuman:Leave matter. Even the Pope is holding Sunday prayer online now. Meanwhile Greek politicians are fighting Greek Orthodox Church to tell them to pause communion for now. Nobody want die. Most churchgoers in Europe are older people who can have up to 15% fatality rate from Corona. Even Pope no want die because him self be old man. |
This Coronavirus no get joy oh. My wife told me most of the congregation refused to take communion in church today as per se a few people for town don catch the thing. Even one of our local health centres had to be disinfected due to a Corona patient. |
tunapawizzy:That's a quarter of their whole population quarantined |
ching, ching, we getting points over here |
Kimbeast: rationalmind:It doesn't matter. The buyback was £40m and after they relegate, they will sell him for no more than that, probably even less. They are already in relegation zone with no small teams left to play. There are good players to pick from Bournemouth this summer, walahi |
sinizia:But in the picture the original argument stemmed from the difference would be significant to the naked eye. If this was a scientific paper, Elruditor would win the argument without doubt because he will always be able to prove his case is greater than even if it is just 2 millimeters difference. |
sinizia:We are all saying the same thing but to be sure, two feet down can never achieve the same perfectness of right-angle as one foot down, although you may not be able to note the difference without accurate measuring tools. If your leg is exactly 1 metre long from your groin to heel, every degree you deviate from forming a perfect right angle with the ground will remove 1.7 centimeters from your height (sine of 1 degree multiplied by 1 metre). But don't forget though that the argument started from a picture comparing two players - one standing on one leg, and the other standing at ease. In summary, closing your feet helps to get closer to a right angle but not as perfectly as standing on one foot. Both arguing parties have come to the same conclusion but na stronghead make argument continue when they both agree. |
