God is in control. |
obailala:Igbo people must stand up for what is their rightful place in Nigeria project. Igbo leaders in Abuja should do away with competition among themselves and fight for common purpose. They should stop talking about being marginally treated in the scheme of things in Nigeria. Agitating for Biafra republic is not the solution. Solution is in the unison of purpose to fight for the benefit of the people and not selfish fighting as it is today. |
Fayose, koju si ise Ti awon Ekiti gbe le e lowo. Governing Ekiti people is what you are elected to do, face your work and leave Obasanjo to face his own life. |
prixm:Let them continue to bless Tinubu name with more properties either the one he owned, co owned, share holder and the other that have nothing to do with him. |
When did it becomes an offence for a man to see doctor. Even yourself @ OP. How old are you, When last did you see a doctor? It's not a sign of him being sick, but a sign that he is proactive about his health. At Mr. President age, he doesn't need to break down before visiting his doctor. |
mazzi:For the first time, we are witnessing a president who have the liver to identify and pinpoint where a problem originated. We like glossing over our problems in order to look good. But it is always good to know the genesis of a problem when you are proffering a solution to that problem. Buhari government is a corrections government. We must know all our failed and failing points, what decision led to us failing at a particular time, how do we avoid falling into the same pit once again. These processes must be followed accordingly to make available a better solution. Anything short of identifying where we got it wrong before making attempts on solutions is like running in a circle. |
Habakus:So what, Mr President is entitled to a vacation in all senses of it. Governance is about making things functions either way. Vice president is a capable hand to direct affairs till the president resumes back next week. |
Politicowizard:We are not foolish as they have in mind. One by one, we will get to all the treasury looters. |
Gradually we are moving closer and closer to a better Nigeria. |
Congratulations. Enjoy your marriage for life. |
Oba nki Oba. Not anybody can do anything to deny the fact. |
I am ashamed to identify myself as a proud son of Ekiti. These characters are first class definition of disgrace to their fathers name. Lere Olayinka is not fit for his name talk less of his position to the governor Tope Aluko is not fit for any role in any gathering of noble people. |
omolami:You are the one that has gaffe here. Buhari knows what he is saying and the audience also understood him. When your comprehension of a word is in doubt, don't read meaning to such statement's |
Jonathan is a pleasant person to be with but he is not a good leader. A leader must be firm and be in control. A leader assign duties and responsibilities to his followers and follow up on delivery. Jonathan is a good fellow who is benevolent and forever a wonderful soft minded man. People around him capitalized on his softened mind to made him ineffectual leader. |
Wisdomkosi:Truth is that PDP members ate our yams more than any one else. Turn by turn, we will get to APC goats. But let us punish the one in the net now. No looter will go with our money without him / her coming out to face the music. We should stop talking about party/ethnic affiliation when a looter is facing the law . These thieves are unanimously one when its looting. They don't care about where you are from. Looters have been braking the law of nature and nation, let the law also brake them. Don't pity anyone of them as they have no pity for the masses. |
42455886]Mr man shut up pls. You wrote the piece. you have been busted. You thought The Economist non disclosure policy of writers will save you this time. hack writer doing hatchet jobs
Is there any need for denying if he is the originator of the article. Truth is bitter but say it. How do we qualified Jonathan again? The article was precisely correct, so I don't see why the writer of such a nice and pricing write up will deny it. |
Welcome back home. Try to be honest next time. Don't eat much of peoples yam from the public barn. |
cktheluckyman:No one is denying that ammunitions was not purchased , the problem is that half of the deal was shaded in corruption. When you estimated and paid for #10,000 worth of goods only to be supplied goods value at #4,000. |
peacengine:Why are you pre-empting Jonathan? He said he will speak out at the appropriate time. How did you know what he wants to says? We are waiting for him to tell the world what he knows about the deal. |
Ajosepo omo Yoruba se koko. We Were born Yoruba son's and daughter's before we grew up to know one political party from another. I am fully in support of this move from Fayose. At this moment when national economy is bedridden, regional development could be the safety threshold. Omo buruku ni ojo ti e. Let the Yoruba leaders take the music to the highest level from here. |
Mariecakes:True talk. Humanity before religions. If we all know that God first then humanity then sanctity of human life and death before any religion, the world would have be more peaceful than what we have today. Religions are not meant to create division in humanity rather we should recognize each other way of worship. |
We made enough money and waisted all on nothing. All projects embarked upon from 2003 to date are either shoddily executed or are still under construction without having any time to finish line. Money waisted and nothing much on ground to show. |
omenka:More grease to your elbow. Tough time deserve tough measure. There must be a way out of this dwindling revenue to run the country. Citizens must develop a way of monitoring government expenditures now that we will be paying taxes through our banking system. No more free money to steal. Projects must be the one that will become beneficiaries to the people in the shortest of time. Government officials must reduce their frivolous life style. Every Nigerians will now have interests in how much the nation is making and how much we are spending from our daily taxes. |
olamigbemi:How does God want? Kindly point out where marriage was conducted with a prophet conducting either from old testament or new testament. Church wedding is never a biblical obligation. People should know what is biblical origin from what is European culture introduced by the crusaders. |
plaetton:Whatever you terms it! Humiliation, humble, cowed. Metuh put himself into this predicament. |
912:True talk. Dansuki was definitely receiving order from a higher authority than himself which can only be the president. So, there can not be conclusion of Dansukigate without Jonathan telling the world what he knows about the deal's. |
God bless you. Truth is bitter but it is the best for people. God has blessed this country with all things but our priorities as citizens are our problems. Greediness, selfishness, domineering and show off are our priorities. People don't think of how lives will be fine for the majority but for them to be the shining star in their churches and their locality. |
Mimo! Mimo!! Mimo!!! Holy! Holy!! Holy!!! God is good all the time. Worship God Almighty in the way that is acceptable unto him. Don't worry about how people feel about you and the way you worship Almighty God. |
meforyou1:When the authority is investigating a fellow and the person is behaving like a Harding accused, the investigators must go hard on such a person. This is the case with Metuh. There is no need for us to see everything from tribal angle. How many Igbo people did he give money to from the four hundred million naira? There are lots of lesson to learn from this Metuh sagas. He is in the known from the beginning that he was involved in shady deals in recent time. He was already anticipated about his arrest. He was invited and he failed to honour efcc invitation. He was arrested, instead of him cooperating with investigators, he wanted to destroy his own statement. From all these events, we can't say what transpired in the prison yard as Metuh was being prepared for onward journey to the court that made him to appear in handcuffed. So, reading ethnic meaning to what happened to Metuh is baseless and can only happen in ethnically polarized nation. Metuh should be allowed to face the law and proofs his innocence if he is innocent. |
hedonistic:Stop saying what you don't know. Who told you the story of Danbazau wanting Metuh in handcuffs. Metuh put himself into the mess by proving stubborn . |
