Hanibbal:If u like u take what he wrote into consideration if u don't why not just read and stop commenting instead of trying to discourage others? |
I just read a funny thread of how hungry monkeys are invading pple's homes in Lekki, stealing from them in the process and I thought of asking this funny question: Assuming u wake up one day to see ur village or town invaded by hundreds of these four wild animals what will be ur reaction? What will u do in order to save urself and ur family from their attacks?

paulolee:So the football legends who commented on the award are nairalanders? Guy grow some balls and say the truth for once. That u love someone doesn't mean u should be bias all de time |
lampi:You're right bro. It's a marketing strategy and Arab money is involved |
paulolee:Criteria my ass. Every football player knows the current best player in the world. Even this season he's 10 times ahead of everyone. He already has 9 champions league goals when Messi has 3. H already has more than 15 league goals in a tougher league than the French league when Messi has one. Ballon d'or is a French magazine award and just like Messi has won their award just to market the French league Lewandoski has won several football awards as the world best player also. That he's the winner of the award doesn't mean he's the best |
Jidemoo:Whether he's the winner of a French magazine award called ballon d'or doesn't change the fact that Lewandoski has been the best football player in the last two years. This things are not hidden. What was the criteria in giving Messi the award without giving it to the likes of Iniesta and Xavi who apart from being outstanding in club football also won the world cup that yr? What was the criteria in giving Modric when Ronaldo flogged him in all the stats? What of Sneijda that won treble in Italy and also finished 3rd in the world cup, scoring 5 goals in the world cup? FIFA has always been a corrupt football body that's why pple like Pele and Maradona never took them serious |
Reactions have poured in following Lionel Messi's victory at the 2021 Ballon d'Or award ceremony, where the Argentine won his seventh title as football's most prestigious individual award. Many people believe that other players, particularly Robert Lewandowski, were more deserving of the award, and four football legends have spoken out. #4. Oliver Kahn Bayern Munich CEO and two-time Ballon d'Or winner Oliver Kahn were among the critics, claiming that Lewandowski deserved both the Ballon d'Or and the Striker of the Year award. "Lewandowski would have deserved both the Ballon d'Or and his top scorer award because he has consistently performed at the highest level for years," Khan told the German newspaper Bild. "Lionel Messi, congratulations! Even without the Ballon d'Or, Lewy has long been regarded as soccer great. In the coming years, he will continue to be a candidate for the Ballon d'Or "Bayern's CEO concluded. #3. Lothar Matthaus Former Ballon d'Or winner Lothar Matthaus criticized the decision not to award the award to Lewandowski, claiming that the Polish striker has been the best player over the last two years. He also emphasized Lewandowski's trophy haul since 2020, as well as his goal of breaking Gerd Muller's 40-goal league record during the 2020/21 season. To be honest, I don't know what I'm talking about anymore. "With all due respect to Messi and the other great players mentioned, none deserved it more than Lewandowski," Sky Germany reported. "France Football did not award the prize last year, and if only for the titles that Robert has won with Bayern 2020, he is unrivalled not only in the last two years." "However, even if you only consider 2021, he was better than the rest." He broke Gerd Muller's century record, is once again at the top of the top scorer list in every competition, and has surpassed everyone nationally and internationally this year." #2. Iker Casillas Iker Casillas, a legendary Spanish goalkeeper, questioned the veracity of football awards, claiming that determining who the best player is should not be so difficult. is becoming increasingly difficult for me to believe in football awards," the former Real Madrid goalkeeper said on Twitter. Messi is one of the best, but at the end of the season, you need to know who the most outstanding player was. It's not that difficult." In the race for the 2021 Ballon d'Or, Robert Lewandowski finished second to Lionel Messi. He was named the inaugural Striker of the Year award winner for his 56 goals in the 2021 calendar year. #1. Toni Kross Toni Kroos, a current Real Madrid midfielder, believes Lionel Messi was not deserving of the award and that other players should have gone ahead of him. It is completely undeserved." There is no doubt that Messi, along with Cristiano, has been the player of the last decade, but there should have been others ahead of him this year," Kroos tweeted after the awards ceremony.

khia:If u as a black American will have this kinda mindset about Nigeria and Nigerians what do u expect and how do u expect the whites to see and regard us? It's a known fact that blacks anywhere are not united. It's not a AA and an African problem but rather it's the black man's problem. Let me tell u that whenever a crime is committed by an African anywhere in the world the whites may tell us their country of origin but the truth is that that's how some of them see all the black pple. The earlier we start to be united and support each other irrespective of our country of origin the better for us. We're not inferior to any other race but the problem is that we don't really know who we are. If u can't protect the Africans in the US who else do u think will protect them? |
When ever money enters ur hand take a pen and a piece of paper and write down what and what needs to be bought, fixed and changed. So many times we end up spending above our income and expect a miracle from God. We buy things that are necessary and those ones that are not necessary. When we get our salary that's when we remember some girls we'll like to take home cos there's money to spend. Money gives us boldness but money not well spent will disappear from our hands so ur problem isn't a spiritual one but rather a spending problem. |
Ballon d'or organizers had to create the best striker award just to accommodate Lewandoski. Imagine being the best football player in the last two years and then this? They started by lying against Ronaldo just to make the award look real. This was the best time for a French football award to be given to a French League One player just to market the league. Exception of Messi fans we all know who's the best football player in the world.

Former France forward, Jean-Pierre Papin, has made a bold claim that Paris Saint-Germain’s Lionel Messi doesn’t deserve to win the 2021 Ballon d’Or award tonight. According to Papin, Messi’s failure in the Champions League last season and his slow start to life at PSG make him undeserving of the Ballon d’ Or this year. He claimed that it would not be normal if the Argentine captain wins the Ballon d’ Or ahead of players like Robert Lewandowski, Jorginho and Karim Benzema. The 2021 Ballon d’Or ceremony takes place for the first time in two years on Monday night, with Messi the favourite to claim the men’s award for a record seventh time. “He [Lionel Messi] has not played for five months!” Jean-Pierre Papin was quoted as saying by Sportskeeda. “I saw that we were talking about him and I don’t understand, he conceded to the Parisian. Let’s add Cristiano Ronaldo also in this case. Since winning Copa America, what has Messi been doing in Paris? He scored one goal in the league, three in the Champions League.” SEARCH Daily Post Nigeria Daily Post Nigeria SPORTBallon d’ Or 2021: It’s not normal – Jean-Pierre Papin makes claim on MessiPublished on November 29, 2021 By Don Silas Former France forward, Jean-Pierre Papin, has made a bold claim that Paris Saint-Germain’s Lionel Messi doesn’t deserve to win the 2021 Ballon d’Or award tonight. But this year, he doesn’t deserve it. “To elect Messi in 2021 would devalue the Ballon d’Or since that would mean that we no longer give the possibility to high-performance players to win the trophy. “When you know how difficult it’s to perform well over an entire season, it is not normal. If we give it to Messi this year, every kid in the world can dream of having it.”

Manchester United have confirmed the appointment of Ralf Rangnick as interim manager until the end of the season. The decision follows Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ’s sacking as head coach earlier this month. Solskjaer was dismissed on Sunday 21 November , a day after his side fell to a 4-1 defeat at Watford in the Premier League , leaving assistant Michael Carrick to oversee the 2-0 win at Villarreal in the Champions League, as well as the 1-1 Premier League draw with Chelsea on Sunday.Rangnick will now take charge at Old Trafford while the club hierarchy seeks a permanent successor to Solskjaer before continuing in a consultancy role. “I am excited to be joining Manchester United and focused on making this a successful season for the club,” he said upon the announcement. “The squad is full of talent and has a great balance of youth and experience. All my efforts for the next six months will be on helping these players fulfil their potential, both individually and, most importantly, as a team. “Beyond that, I look forward to supporting the club’s longer-term goals on a consultancy basis.” Football director John Murtough added: “Ralf is one of the most respected coaches and innovators in European football. He was our number one candidate for interim manager, reflecting the invaluable leadership and technical skills he will bring from almost four decades of experience in management and coaching. “Everyone at the club is looking forward to working with him during the season ahead, and then for a further two years in his advisory role.” The German leaves his role as Lokomotiv Moscow’s head of sports and development to join United, who sit eighth in the Premier League and are into the Champions League knockout rounds following their victory over Villarreal. Rangnick, 63, has previously coached a number of German clubs, including Schalke, Hoffenheim, Stuttgart, Hannover, and most recently RB Leipzig. Prior to his two spells as Leipzig coach between 2015 and 2019, Rangnick served as director of football at the club as well as RB Salzburg. Rangnick is widely credited as one of the key figures to shape the tactic of Gegenpressing , with Jurgen Klopp, Thomas Tuchel and Julian Nagelsmann among the coaches to have drawn influence from him. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/12478484/ralf-rangnick-appointed-man-utd-interim-manager-until-end-of-the-season

emmyrate1:So because he can't score anymore u guys have forgotten that he's a goal scorer. Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and Paul Scholes were all midfielders but always competed in terms of goals with their team strikers |
emmyrate1:Let him organize PSG. Stop making excuses for him. They have a great coach but y'all because of his inconsistency pin the blame on the poor coach. Messi is finished. Stop praising him for other pple's goals. |
Negroid001:Thank God Ronaldo has rubbished Bayern Munich many times with Real Madrid. Just like what Carragha said, Messi and Ronaldo are now passengers. They don't put any pressure on the opponents. Only Messi fans think that after flopping against a big team will come back and have 3 assist against st Etienne that is sitting 20th in the French league table that he's performing. PSG last two seasons was better than what they currently look like |
Negroid001:Even when Messi was there Bayern flogged them like man city, Chelsea, Liverpool will flog Coventry city, PSG that struggled against man utd managed by Ole rubbished them in their home, Roma, Liverpool, Juventus all had their fresh share of the rubbishing. Juventus is a team made up of average players, if u think Messi would have done better there let him go and play with Mois Kean, Morata, Cuadrado and other below average players there. They even finished third last season in the Spanish league. That shows how bad they are as a team. The fact that man utd is struggling shows how competitive English league is unlike the French league that only has PSG as a big team. |
Chatflick:He can't even play against Club Brugge and Leipzig. Maybe you're still living in the past. U think this PSG team that's filled with average players from the defence to the midfield is like the Barca team that had the likes of Xavi and Iniesta in the midfield. In the last 6 yrs what has been his performance level in the champions league? When they're knocked out in the Knockout stage u guys will blame Pochetino. If Ole cud beat this PSG team Man utd coached by Ranknick will bury them |
gurunlocker:Go and read what Van Da Vaart wrote about Messi after the champions league match. He said the difference between him and Ronaldo is that Ronaldo irrespective of his age always pushes his team to win but that he (Messi) plays like someone who has no passion anymore. Wud Messi change this currently man U team coached by rookies? Hell no! He'd make it worse. Is Ronaldo the problem? No! We've played so many yrs after sir Alex retired with nothing to show. Ronaldo coming to man utd was an added bonus cos he's a winner and him being around the team will transfer his winning mentality to other players |
Milli10:Messi is struggling at PSG, 3 assist aside. He knows he's no more the same player he use to be. I don't know what u guys gain in trying to put down Ronaldo at any given time but when Messi plays badly u guys make excuses 4 him. Stop being a hypocrite abeg. Rashford that played first half what was his contribution? Him giving three assist against the worst club in French league one doesn't change the fact that Barca made him. Ronaldo at 36 has 10 goals in15 appearances. If tap in was that easy Timo Werna wud win the golden boot last season. And mind u if u wanna see how useless Messi is put him in this current man utd team that rarely control the ball against opponents. He only thrived at Barca cos everything about the team revolved around him. |
Manchester United’s use of Cristiano Ronaldo borders on ‘abuse’, according to Michael Owen.https://metro.co.uk/2021/11/28/michael-owen-slams-manchester-uniteds-abuse-of-cristiano-ronaldo-15677956/?ito=newsnow-feed

MangekyoAlt:One thing av learnt as a football fan is that any time they exaggerate a particular record that's the day the record is always broken. There's one team they said has never scored against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu but that day they didn't only score they won Real Madrid in their home. They once said Ronaldo has never scored against Germany but he scored that day so be humble. |
Franzinni:You're 50% correct |
Benwallt:That's how they form nonsense here but very weak in reality. |
Franzinni:Read 'why u act the way u do" and you'll have a proper understanding of why pple respond to situations differently |
pocohantas:It's ok |
pocohantas:Why don't u change and become a better woman so that a man can mourn nd miss u as well? |
Franzinni:Pple usually act base on their temperament. U don't expect a sanguine to respond to situations like a phlegmatic, likewise a melancholic can never act like a choleric. So according to u if a sanguine or choleric who are naturally social and lousy shouts when arguing with the opposite sex it means he's not a real man. Abeg change this una real man mentality |
Assuming ur country's president is critically ill and every citizen is asked to contribute 10% of his or her salary for the president to be flown abroad for treatment, the question is: is ur president good enough to deserve ur contribution?will u contribute? N/b Pls b4 ur answer kindly drop the name of ur country. I'm from Nigeria and I don't think I will contribute such amount of money. |
