Bunmiemich: Hi guys, God bless you for this thread; I've been doing some research about this for some time though my focus was more on Norway whose cost of living I found too expensive. I think the cost in Finland is more realistic and I will be applying for Msc. in Networking but the problem I have now is that I'm currently serving in cross river state and ll be trough by June next year. I haven't gotten my int. passport nor any English test yet. I'll like your advise concerning this, am I too late to start all the processing? thanks and looking forward to hearing from you guys. Some schools have started receiving applications and others will start by january. But the challenge is the english test. if u know u can write TOEFl or ielts in december then u can give a trial. But, firstly, u have to identify the schools that offer ur course so that u can check their deadline. |
Hi doc, Pls i need ur help. I felt sick about 3months back. Symptoms were severe headache, feverish feeling, general weakness etc. I felt it was malaria so i took an antimalaria drug. 1 or 2 wks after that, it resurfaced so i went to do medical test(MP and Widal). MP was negative Widal was positive(Significant titre). So the doctor prescribed Augmentin. I used it and felt better. About a month ago, the same symptoms resurfaced. Went to do test. MP was negative, Widal was still positive but the doctor said it wasnt too significant. I was asked to take CIPROTAB which i did. 2wks ago, felt the same symptoms again. Went back to do the doctor. Was asked to do MP, Widal and Blood Culture or sensitivity(cant remember the exact name). MP was +1, widal was negative but i had to wait for 7days for the blood culture result. Doctor asked me to take an anti malaria pending the release of the other result. I took an antimalaria, felt okay for some days but symptoms resurfaced again last week thursday or fri. Blood culture result came out and this was the result "Gram positive cocci culture yielded growth of staph aureus after 2hrs of incubation at 37 degrees centigrade. resistant to augmentine. sensitive to gentamicin, offloxacin, levastat, cyprosan" So doctor prescribed offloxacin which i completed yesterday. However am still feeling the same way(high body temp, body weakness, feverish feeling, headache etc) Am so confused rite now. pls ur urgent response is required. my email is icelander54@yahoo.com |
Thanks so much bro. I now understand perfectly. Waiting for october batch. Cheers!
First of all, are you one of the lucky winners of the dv 2013 lottery. If yes, then check the print out in which you were declared winner, and you will see your case number boldly written beneath. It begins with the year of the dv lottery you played. e.g. 2013, then your region e.g. AF for Africa, EU for Europe, AS for Asia etc, then finally your number which has eight ( 8 ) characters. This is how a typical case number looks like: 2013AF00008501. All these make up the composition of a case number! If you check the last visa bulletin, 8,500 was current for Nigeria. It means that the above case number was cut off and so not current. In other wards, all case numbers below 8,500 will be current based on the release of the last visa bulletin. 2013AF0008501 is a hypothetical case number. It may not exist for your information! It may exit for another region, but not necessarily Africa.
|
Thanks for your reply bro....sorry am new here cos i just found this thread and i really dont know much about this stuff. What does it mean to be "current"? and how do I know my case no? Is it the one sent when an applicant has been selected? Expecting your reply bro. Thank you. brightmon: it means applicants from Nigeria, Egypt and Ethiopia with case no 5500 and below are current while applicants from the other country in Africa with case no 8000 and below are current. This is due to the volume of applicant from Nigeria, Egypt and Ethiopia. |
I hope this doesnt mean that applicants from Egypt, Ethiopia and Nigeria wont be considered for the october draw? Please, enlighten me people. Thanks. iceberg54: ADVANCE NOTIFICATION OF THE DIVERSITY (DV) IMMIGRANT CATEGORY RANK CUT-OFFS WHICH WILL APPLY IN OCTOBER |
