GEJ has and will always be the worst thing that happened to the south east.

Well, I don't subscribe to maltreatment of people because I face same on the road with commercial drivers and private drivers but how many of them are you going to beat or taking law into your hand to beat. Please be reasonable and don't join PMB to your madness.

well first of all even though you are my country man, i still will tell you the truth.If you know how people behave,then you know how to deal with them. the way you conduct and carry yourself anywhere you are is how you will be treated. you erred by not making your request for leave absolutely official.You told your work shop manager about it and he advised you to speak with your boss. you should have done so and all this would not be happening.
secondly you goofed when you eventually resumed office. you should not have begged him. there is a difference between apologizing and begging. i am sure you your countenance and disposition portrayed fear and that you were absolutely sorry and scared of losing your job, which gave you away. you don't show fear to such people,you show strength, confidence yet remorse. this would have made him think twice before assaulting. but because he saw you apologizing probably almost kneeling he knew you were scared of losing your job and scared of him too as your boss so he attacked you. i am not saying all this to make you see me as a bigger man, i just want you to know when dealing with a bully you don't show fear.



in any case i commend your patience and hope you deal with him severely because it is becoming routine for these Indians and Lebanese who are way below us Nigerian.

I am an insider, the news is not a full reflection of what happened. The truth is that when Flora discovered that her car was missing from where she parked it, and after searching for it for some minutes by asking neighbors, it was then that somebody suggested that she should call her driver. Before then, one good Samaritan who also lives in the estate instructed the security men to lock the gate when he suspected the driver by the way he drove recklessly in the estate in an attempt to take the car away.

When he was stopped, then her madam's call came in, then he lied he was on his way home before the man collected the phone from him to inform Flora that she should be coming to the estate gate that her car is with the driver and should come to identify him before it was now discovered that the car they are looking for was removed by the driver without her consent with a duplicated keys.

The Valentine's story was the driver's story to escape and attract sympathy to distract stealing accusation. He was just taking the car away when he was caught and not that he was returning it.

While this was going on, RSS men came, the madam said she does not want to press charges but the RSS men insisted on taking him away. He would have been released but his family insisted that the madam should give them the 50k to bail the suspect which she said she can't give them.

Last December, the driver hit and broke about four people's leg and condemned the car she was using before. The case is still in court, the madam spent so much money to settle the victims/case before this driver's attempt to steal her new car that she bought in January this year to replace the one he damaged.

Listen, when you take a property that does not belong to you from it's origin place to another place without the consent of the owner is a criminal offence which is stealing.

Remember that he duplicated the key of the car, took the car out of its place whereby the owner found out that the property she left at her place has been moved without her consent and she contacted the law enforcement agents reporting that her property was removed from it's original place, and the key of the said property was still intact with her. Will you now say that her property was jus[b]t taken away and when found with anybody, you now clai[b]m that it was not stolen?

As much as a good economy is important, a good image is more important. Build your image, change perception of outsiders about you, build the potentials of your country and you shall see that better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof... We've had enough of this common sence, what we need now is an uncommon sence to bring a solution rather make mere noise. The common sence he couldn't employ when we needed it most few years back. Or is it that he just purchased it from someone?

Oil dependency.

Of course....we should blame the last government at all levels for not saving money. But if they had saved, we would still be in the same trobule...because we do not have the dollars to back up our economy.

There is nothing that the current govt can do...except hoard dollars, hope that prices go up....and in the meantime....diversify.

Either way.....the road out of dependency on oil is a long and hard road.I hope Nigeria is willing to take it. And it starts by spending what little money we have on industries and technology.
