TravelRe: Being Black In Berlin/germany by IchBinBrait(m): 5:07pm On Aug 17, 2020
Are you guys for real?? shocked shocked All these comments are as a result of the Op's view on racism?? I guess some people didn't learn from what happened the first time. Daniel's views and experiences are personal. Anyone with a different view should create his or her own thread. I'd be delighted to open, read and eventually follow such thread.

Criticism doesn't end well. It leads to argument, then to condemnation, then to fight. It is left for the parties involved to exercise self-control. Guys you don't have to reply to every post.. Let it slide! We are here to enjoy Daniel's thread.

Justwise has already posted "racism was not the purpose of this thread but just a mention". Seeing Daniel's pictures and review of Berlin makes me happy. It makes one feel like he /she is in Germany already, so lets relax and enjoy the thread.

PS: You guys should limit the way you use those big grammars, atimes it makes one experience difficulty when trying to understand a sentence, if not for dictionary......... Simple English words should do. This is common amongst Nigerians. Make una no do pass the people wey get the language.

Mehnn,, after reading all your posts on sexuality in Germany, I am left shocked. I don't even know what to say, the yam is too hot for the mouth to accomodate. shocked shocked

I am fully aware that Germany is the home of nudity (to the extent of having a TV show of fully unclad people), I am grateful to you for your rawness, afterall I believe everyone reading this thread is matured. It is better one knows what he or she is going to experience beforehand than to go there with naivety and be shouting "obara Jisos" (blood of Jesus) after witnessing it. If someone can't put up with the happenings in Berlin, then such person shouldn't go to Berlin. There are loads of uninhibited activities......

Please continue to update us Dan. More strength to your elbows and may your ink never run dry! Happy new month!!

Never heard of that before though.
Others have spoken węll, you just have to be extremely careful Op.

A friend of mine was issued a fake Malaysian visa some time ago. Everything was processed by the so-called agent. Dude was so happy he was leaving Nigeria. Unfortunately, he was detained at MM2, he was thrown into the Police cell afterwards... They claimed he was a fraudster. Las las he was granted bail (he asked his family to sell off his car and use the proceeds to bail him out). It wasn't a small issue.

Anything "visa agent" is a NO NO for me!! Make we no go use our heads carry wetin we no know

TravelRe: My Trip To Village Of Yester Years(usa) by IchBinBrait(m): 1:10pm On Jul 11, 2020
Nice pictures Op...

Like you said earlier, the place was clean and dust-free. All I can say is this:- The Americans preserved their heritage. It would be a thing of joy for a Grandfather to show his Grandchildren (the indomie generation) where he lived alongside his Father's father with their names engraved on the ground. I know if "Yester Years" were to be a Nigerian village, you'd be seeing modern houses in every street. Old ones bulldozed and posh structures erected. Development or modernization is good but some things should be kept to serve as a point of reference when teaching our children how and where their forefathers lived, and for tourism purpose too.

My village in Abia state is gradually becoming a city. Coman see jaw dropping structures, the kind of houses that are built on the Island in Lagos. The competition is fierce. Someone would build a big house, his neighbor would build a beautiful one, on seeing it the former would partially destroy his own and renovate. For village ooo.

I heard Jos, Kogi, Bauchi, Cross river etc used to be among the top states to visit for tourism in those days. Along the line terrorists, bandits and others came and gave the country a bad name. The level of insecurity rose over the years. Tourism is almost dead. Who would want to visit an unsafe country?! Even if the West, South and East are somehow safe, it wont take the bad boys much time to attack em.. Na God dey save person. Insecurity and poor maintenance of tourist attractions has crippled our tourism industry.

Finally Op this is July 11, howfar na... You never re-visit Yester Years?? grin grin grin Abi this corona still dey hot for that end??

I'll start with Food.

This is one of my worst experience here. Feeding for here na war. Bread, morning and night. I'm not one who really likes too cook. And I know how to cook only few foods sef. Unlike 9ja, whereby you can enter with shikini money buy confirm food chop, it's not so here. I mostly eat bread, concoction rice, fried chicken, salad, when I go to the African store I buy plantain too, their yam is so expensive so I don't buy it. Oh, there's also beans too, It's quite expensive, I love beans so I buy it anyways. If you decide to buy food outside, maybe restaurant or whatever, just go with your seasonings because their foods are always tasteless, it smells nice but doesn't taste good. Except you go to burger King or KFC or McDonald's. For me now, burger don be like dream food for me, before Corona I eat it almost every day. Either I eat it or I eat Doner.
hahaha... make person carry seasoning go restaurant. Lols you are serious

I thought I was the only one with a "to do list" which is made up of countries to visit. Thanks for opening my eyes bro, I have added more countries to my list. grin grin I wanna tour this world. Would buy a camera and carry everywhere.

Really wanna see the aurora borealis (preferably the view from Norway), Niagara falls, the beautiful city of Tokyo, Croatia (I hope they join schengen soon), UAE, the Marina bay and many more. I believe we would get there one day bro by God's grace.

Really fed up of waiting for Nepa to restore the light and eventually shouting "up Nepa" after restoration. Also tired of all these noisy neighbours' generators. Nigeria is not developing... Lets just call a spade a spade. If a person sees that Lagos bridge he/she would think Lagosians are enjoying. Mtcheew..

I can't point to any country as the most beautiful cuz some are artificially made while some are natural. Anyways those dudes did a good job in making their countries top tourist destinations. DE is still the stepping stone for niggaz... God dey!

Ugoerico:
My worst experience of "racism" here that I can remember was when I first started working with Germans in a firm where I was not only the black man in that work, but also the only non German who could not freely and eloquently express himself in Deutsh( it's a part of Germany where English is not spoken one bit). They were then utilizing my speaking and understanding deficiency to shift ALL errors and blames which arise from the work to me. Sometimes before I could put together my verbs and tenses to talk, they issue is already over.. So I was accepting virtually all guilts and blames of others, I was really burning inside me and started gradually having depressive moods.

But what happened thereafter? How did I tackle it? O mehn I used the last drop of my blood and started learning the language as if my life was hinged on it, took my Language course extremely serios, went further and bought many books and materials, at home nothing else appeared on my TV other than YouTube channels of almost all Deutsch teachers, bought a new ear piece for listening every godamn time I'm outside(good a thing I didn't develop ear problem due to constant sound in the ear ), i made German frends (especially ladies) that I chat with, speak with and vist. After many months of intense training, I saw that I have improved so heavily I took my B1 exam and got almost 100% in all segments, registered for the integration course exam (the score is required whenever u want to apply for citizenship) and made 100% (33/33). I was very happy yet I entered again another B2 school for 6 months intensive after which I started speaking sound quality Deutsch( a couple of govt offices I entered also told me so). I use even idioms, a couple of times I have used big vocabularies that one or two Germans had to check thier meanings in the dictionary and admitted they weren't used to those terminologies.

Now in my work place i work VERY CONFIDENTLY, the way I tackle anybody in my work place trying to be stupid around me eh, all those acts I receive stoped Instantly.

Finally survival is like mathematics, everyman must find his own formular or live by copying from others!
Chai.. Two things I learnt from this write-up are: “always be determined" and “find your own survival formular"

Thanks for this piece Erico.. E com be like say the German don dey affect your English grin grin Lolll
