Make up your mind and direct all your energies into one country...otherwise, you really would be stuck sort of....I had made friends on the other student thread for Finland before I left Naija...The guys were extremely helpful to me then too, because they noticed I was not just making enquiries, so they led me sort of while I did my own part then in Lag...Like I said in the beginning of this thread, I had known I would come here, and I remember studying my Finnish even while doing my shoe business between Lag and Abj...Also, try to do EVERYTHING by yourself, the internet is our goldmine in this generation, do not understimate it.
@the bolded, you are right.. This generation is blessed with internet connectivity unlike the early years of my mama and papa them. grin One has to make positive use of the net as no info is hidden from it. In addition, one at a point in time will need the services of a helper (more reliable source). Explanations sourced from the net can be sometimes be confusing.

I have been using infinix for years and I can tell you that it is a nice, economical phone to use.

I am not saying it is the best brand, neither am I saying it won't develop fault. My point is not everyone can afford samsung, iphone and all other expensive brands.

Op you can on the other hand opt for Xiaomi. It is a great brand.

"According to him, the deceased out of annoyance pounced on her and pushed her out of the house, and angered by the husband’s action, she grabbed a piece of wood and hit him on the head with it."

This above is a case of karma + domestic violence gone wrong. Why would you pounce (after sending her out) on your wife because she didn't ask for your permission before going out

It was not premeditated and it was an act of self defense

But the cases of spouse related deaths are increasing sha. God safe us
I think you have mixed it up. He actually pounced on her first then pushed her out of the house. Read again.

Thank you.
Brother this is Nigeria. Nothing positive can be said about the education system. This is a country where everyone want to get rich at all cost and at the expense of the future of others. Government officials want to live large, lecturers want to make money, HoDs are not saints, VC/Rectors cannot be trusted, even course reps want to milk you dry. The unserious ones who sort lecturers get good grades whereas the serious ones (bookwarms) get low grades cuz they refuse to settle the lecturers. And it is those unserious ones that companies usually provide employment opportunities for, perhaps because of their first class and second class upper grades.

Don't worry bro. The future is bright. Look forward. Re-register the course, read well and ensure you write well. Then say a dangerous prayer for the lecturer. God doesn't sleep. Depression can lead to suicide. Do things that makes you happy, although it is painful but you just have to let it go and move on.

One more thing, try to develop your programming skills bro. Learn the advanced languages and derive the ability to solve problems with it. IT is taking over the world, we can't see much of it cuz Nigeria is lagging. You won't find it difficult getting a job in this field at all. You are intelligent.

Their recruitment requirement is not too palatable. They are the worst of all the audit firms based on the aspect of requirements. They are not just flexible and this is really bad. "Toughness" should be added to their core values. Funny enough na this branch wey dey 9ja dey act rigid.

Good working environment, good place to boost one's career, good salary structure but poor recruiting strategy. There must shaa be a bad side.

There are other cool companies to work for please.

I wish them best of luck.

I didn't study accounting nor economics related course but I was shortlisted for the test. Should I give it a try? Won't I be disqualified later because of my course
Bros do not bother about what you studied, whether it is soil science, fishery or even carpentry. As long as you graduated with first class or 2.1, you are good to go. You just have to pass the test, assessment center and interview, you will be employed. #Shikena!

That is one of the issues I have with Accounting firms. We that read accounting & economics will be competing with those that read complete abstract courses.
Then I ask myself these questions "can an engineering graduate be a medical doctor, can a microbiologist be a lawyer, or can a marketer be a veterinary doctor"?? But in the field of Accounting, everyone is allowed to write ICAN and be gainfully employed in audit/accounting firms.

That is why there are veterinary doctors who are E.Ds/CFOs all because they are ACAs or ACCAs..

No wonder the field of accounting has no level.. Mtcheew!

"Animal cruelty" are these white ppl really stupid or are they just being fake or myopic?
I think they are just being stupid... What if the snake had entered the vehicle and bitten someone, what would they have said.

It is just that U.S isn't 9ja otherwise that snake will be past tense.

Boss google can’t give detailed explanation like personal experiences.
Let me put it like this - Google is the middleman (between you & the information you seek). Info displayed as "search result" contain websites, youtube videos, links to individual blogs where you can even communicate to the authors, links to articles, you will also find a link to someone's quora page and so on. All these are embedded in google.

Just like you said, google can't give detailed explanation but google can give you links and websites where you can get satisfactory information.

That is it.

If you wanna get a detailed explanation on how life in general is in Lithuania, one good platform to visit is Quora and the most popular search engine, Google. Just input your questions in the search box.

Stumbled on this thread for the first time yesterday. I don't even know how but I think "a click after a click, after another click" led me here. Such a lovely thread. I observed you are kind of conservative, in the sense that you prefer not to disclose some things. You know.... grin But In all, I love the thread, it is informative. Not everyone will have the time to do this. Do not relent in keeping us updated via pix and tips. Deutschland my dream country!

Braket:
Some professors also allow you to come in with cheat sheet(whatever you feel like writing into the exam hall. It is limited to A4 paper front and back).
Cheat sheet?? I kind of like the sound of this!

Braket:
Good thing and bad thing about exams here is that you can decide to not write the exam even on the day for the examination. All you have to do is go collect sick letter from doctor. Even before the examination, they ask you if you're fit for the exam, else you can leave. Do you guys remember those days before an examination when they will search you as though you're a terrorist before you enter the hall? Well it doesn't happen here. It was always obvious that we were international students in the examination hall because every other German student often had drinks and snacks in front of them despite the fact that examination is going on. But international students? Nothing dey our front.
I feel they are trying to make things easy for students.. Life as a student shouldn't be soo hard the way it is in this GreenWhiteGreen country. I learnt that in DE, if a student choose to attend lectures or not, it is his /her choice. Like don't the lecturers take attendance? In some Nigerian Universities, if the lecturer observes how scanty a class is, he can give a random test or even take the attendance of those that are around. This is good 30 marks gone for the absentees.

I love the DE system of education jaree... Read a post by an Indian who said he completed his supposed 18 months Msc program in 3 years because he wanted to hustle. He deliberately took 1 or 2 semester break. Who does that in Nigeria... who wan get extra year??

Keep this thread alive bro....

My brother, men cry. Crying is human nature, only robots and dead people don't cry.

So, if you are at a point of frustration, cry. You can lock yourself in a room and cry out your frustrations, it is a key part in your healing process.

You cannot linger on the past, some things pass over you for a reason, even if you may not see these reasons initially. Take this, not just as a learning curve, but also as a challenge, to put your detractors to shame. Na privilege some people get, no be say den better pass you.
The last statement.. Hi-five for you! Na truth you talk!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: This Was How I Lost A Bank Job Opportunity Yesterday . I Hope It Helps Someone. by IchBinBrait(m): 11:27am On Jun 20, 2019
It is well bro, I clearly understand what you are going through, It can be painful. Unemployment has really affected so many graduates (myself inclusive) badly; financially, emotionally, socially and so on.. There is one encounter I had in January that almost made me cry because of this.

Happenings like this can lead to depression which will therefore make one start to have negative thoughts. I usually say this - "Tomorrow will be better and as long as one still breaths, there is hope". I will make it LEGALLY. You also will make it LEGALLY. Just believe and keep pushing.

One more thing, do remove that woman's name & digits from your CV. I don't know what you did that pissed her off. This is a lesson. Only God can make a way for someone.
