Crossbow: 19 is quite old to begin professional football, you will come to understand this. For a Nigerian, the ladder is too long to start climbing at 19. Like you I had hopes of playing professional football back then in secondary school but I was forced to finish school back then and when I did, I got to understand that the ladder of football is quite long and in Nigeria, it is longer. I was good then but passing trials was almost impossible. I started going for trial camps in Lagos, but even when I passed, money was the problem.. We were supposed to have 150k for passport and Visa processing. The plan was to go to Cyprus and go for a real trial to start playing for lower division teams and start earning while climbing the ladder to top global teams. Nobody wanted to invest a dime in me, except for educational purpose. I lost hope, wrote jamb and got admitted into a tertiary institution.
If you have the Money, determination, skills, endurance and passion, leave the country, go to France or country that appreciate football through a football agency, go for trials and work hard, Fitness is another thing.
You can come into limelight at 24, which is not bad, (at 24, you will be 19 then )
About marriage and family, that is completely understandable. We have Rev. Fathers and Sisters. Marriage isn't for everyone. I am actually thinking of taking this part too and joked about it with Mum, she wasn't happy about it even though I said it playfully but if it is a path I must take to stay happy, I will take it and everybody will just have to accept it or leave it.
BTW What is your playing position? Mine is CMF I felt for you after reading this piece... but this is Nigeria where education is given number 1 priority.., where you will tell your parents about your dreams and they will be like "do you wan't to disgrace this family,, can't you see Mr. A's son who is reading medicine and will soon become a doctor?? or Mrs. Lagbaja's daughter who is studying law and will soon be a lawyer?? If I were a member of your family, you would have followed your mates to Cyprus anyhow, anyway. Too much comparison.. I must say the truth,, most parents/family members would rather prefer you do their will and forget about chasing your own dream. Parents have a shallow view about the future. ......and to the OP,, bro get contacts, connections etc. Be the best among your peers and travel out. It is not too late to become a professional footballer. It is not a must that you play in England, France, Italy or other top European clubs.. football is football. Start from somewhere. In future your parents/guardians will be proud of you. They may not see reasons with you now but they will in future. You are above 18 so you are not a kid. Take that bold step and do not let discouragers to discourage you. You are the sole decider of your future. |

Haba people of Bayelsa.. Dolphin is a friendly sea animal na.. Go abroad and see how much the whites usually pay to play with this animal and to watch it swim. It is not everything you see, kill and eat na.. Besides I doubt if there would be something edible to eat in that animal. They could have boost tourism with this. We seriously need to protect our widelife. |

Only a broke asss niggarrr or rather a low budget asss moda fuckinggg niggarrrr will buy those phoness
A real niggarrr buy a Samsung, iPhone and Nokia Jees even my laptop is a MacBook not to talk of phone Guy abeg think before you comment.. How many low salary earners can afford high-end phones.. Those companies you underrated are trying to make smartphones reach every person on the street (both educated and uneducated). Trying to ensure that people remain abreast with recent happenings online. A cleaner over here uses a small Tecno smartphone and she is really satisfied with it because she carries out banking transactions, uses gps navigator, reads pdf documents, downloads utilities (apps) from playstore and also follows people she admires on social media. If those companies should manufacture only sophisticated phones, the prices will be high, how many will be able to afford it?? The low income earners, the cleaner, the undergraduates won't use a smartphone then... It is not all that can differentiate between Octa Core & Snapdragon It is not all that can differentiate between Kitkat & Oreo.. Not everyone are tech gurus Some do not even know the importance of RAM not to even mention processor. Majority only need a strong phone with good battery and good camera and those are the things these manufacturers are trying to provide for a minimal amount. Brag about your Apple products,, when they get damaged nobody will remind you to cry. |

ACCA is to UK as ICAN is to Nigeria. ACCA is offered in UK likewise in Nigeria. ACCA is a different body from ICAN, ICAEW, CIMA, CIPFA and others. Yes it originated from UK but there are other bodies also. Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) issues ACA and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) issues ACA also. |

wait first ooo...............
16 million for an electric car?? Even with all these orisirisi inside,, I know Elon Musk will be hissing right now.
it is quite less expensive.
this car to me look like a prototype. The Chinese just wanted to break record which therefore led to the innovation.
so I ask: why would you put a screen on the steering wheel, secondly what is the usefulness of that screen in between the front two seats, thirdly why is there a very large screen on the dashboard? T'wud distract the driver big time. It is gonna be worst at night.
final conclusion: I will buy it for my girlfriend and not for myself. |

There's also Rapidtransfer that enable those in diaspora send money to Nigeria from any part of the world. I don't think Ecobank is behind when you talk of innovative banking services Yea yea,,,, that is their selling point. |
