Kog45: Sir it seems you don't rate Ideye but i would pick him ahead of Nwakaeme and Kayode anytime any day in Super eagles jersey.
I think Malaga need him considering their position in the league, they can't just signed him to warm the bench though left for him to prove himself and Kayode not able to make the mark at Girona doesn't have anything to do with Ideye moved to Malaga,we might see a rejuvenated Ideye.
What do you want to say about Iheanacho situation at Leicester, funny enough sometimes Iheanacho don't even make match day squad or do we say Nacho is not good enough.Honestly what work for A might not work for B so let's put the finger cross and see how things unfolds.
Let's hope it works for Ideye and other potential January mover cos WC is knocking and we need them at their top form. Brown Ideye is a player I have followed since 2007. Much was expected of him as a young player then. The only time he put up a descent showing was at the 2013 AFCON but what followed that at the Confed Cup? A big flop. Westbrom made a record signing for him even when he was still is his relatively descent form and he flopped. Apart from the 2013 he has never had it good with the GWG. He is not just that kind of player you would be excited over a move to Malaga. I do not rate Nwakaeme either but I will take Kayode over Ideye. |

BascoVanVeli: Nobody is calling for Ideye's inclusion here . We were talking about him signing a deal, what does his ability have to do with that? I said u admitted to basically not liking him and like always u have latched on to one word just to prove ur point . I never said u hate the man or have an issue with him. If u don't believe in his ability u don't like him as a player simple as that . @ the first bolded, someone earlier posted that if Ideye plays week in week out then he should be considered for the trip to Russia ahead players like Ahmed Musa right? @ Second bolded you still have not shown me where I admitted to not liking him. @ Third bolded, maybe you need to know how to chose words that better buttress your points. @ Fourth bolded you clearly stated I disliked him @ Your last sentence, do you believe in Ezenwa's abilities as our first choice goalie for the World Cup? Of course no. It simply means we all dislike Ezenwa because none of us including me believes in his abilities to be first choice. |

Petrobros: You that claim to defend home based players but does not believe in Ezenwa's abilities. From your logic you either hate or dislike the player. Thank you for that analogy. Believing in a player's abilities now boils down to whether you like the player or not. Maybe that is his own yardstick for choosing which players to defend or not. Now I see. |

BascoVanVeli: I don't just believe in his abilities anymore. That is it. Look at you. Please what is the correlation between not believing in one's abilities and not liking the person? That is typically the easiest way out. "If you don't believe in a player's abilities you either hate or dislike that player". If someone calls for the return of Osaze and Ike Uche and I say I don't believe in their current abilities. That means I dislike the two players right? Please desist from this form of unfounded accusations. |

Bottom line is that Ideye has a lifeline in la liga and it is left to him to perform Please quote where I admitted to not liking him. |

elyte89: Except we want to feign ignorance,if a player like ideye gets playing week in week out for malaga, rohr won't av any choice Dan to pick him,all he needs to do is to b active with his new club, with dt he's a sure berth to Russia, same with Musa..if he also changes club, den he's also a sure berth to Russia Let us see him being active "week in week out" first. And not just that, scoring goals too. |

BascoVanVeli: The way I see it, u just don't like Ideye. Fact is that u cannot dispute any of the reasons I gave as to why this is a great deal. The rest is up to him or do u just want him to retire so that u can be happy? There you go pointing accusations fingers. Did i say it is not a great deal for the player? I don't just believe in his abilities anymore. That is it. If he goes there and start banging in goals week in week out, good for him. I am just being real, I don't expect much from him in the La Liga. He is past his prime. And I hope he proves me wrong. |

BascoVanVeli: Anyone can get relegated to the bench u don't have to be a January buy for that to happen. What I know is that clubs make short term impact signings around this time of the year. Kalu Uche has done this a couple times with Levante and Almeria. Ramos from Dortmund went on loan to Granada before he went to China. In Spain there is less money to waste so u can bet no Malaga are not signing Ideye as a joke. I jut don't get how u are not excited about a move that takes him from the reserve team of a Chinese club into La Liga. Good for him and his career. But I do not expect much from that move. |

BascoVanVeli: This is January, Malaga is trying to save their butts. This is not the time that a club would sign a player they don't need. That does not follow. A player can arrive in January and find it difficult to fit in. And then subsequently relegated to the bench. Good Luck to Ideye but I am not excited over that move. |

tbaba1234: “If we had spent around $300,000 dollars [on referees], and stood to benefit about $8 million [by appearing at the World Cup], I see nothing wrong with it,” he said.
“When we say unclassified payments, it’s not necessarily giving money directly to the referee. It can be in kind, it can be in cash. The essence of it is not for the referee to be biased towards your opponent."
A member of the Ghanaian FA openly calling for bribing referees in 'cash or kind'. Its like Ghanaians have strong affinity for match fixing. That Ghanaian ref that got banned for match fixing in the SA vs Senegal game also comes to mind. Rather than developing their football they are thinking of bribing referees. What a shame. |

Dt move will automatically make him in a better position dan d likes of onyekuru(whos injured)Ahmed Musa(always not listed let Alone of been on d bench,) Anthony(Israeli league and also not yet convincing as such in gwg and to cap it all,he has d world cup exp.what he only need as stated earlier is for him to play regularly for malaga. What gives you the assurance that Ideye will be playing week in week out in Spain? No be Kayode dey run away from that same LA Liga due to lack of game time? A player gains experience by playing.

Mickael2: Has Enyeama ever failed to perform in the GWG?
About his long term injury, did he not play a professional match last month? You know some GKs who are second or third choice do not even get to play for 2-3months straight, just ask Ospina but he is still the first choice for Colombia. Gks pick up form easily, just some training sessions and a few practice matches so long as they train weekly You get it. |

Didnt you watch Enyeama's penalties action at the 2006 AFCON in the quarter final against Tunisia? Enyeama worked on that weakness and improved in that area. |

Enyeama coming back could spell another disaster .Same Rufai came back in 98 I am sure you know why Rufai came back in 1998. At least I posted the video here of the Baruwa incident that led to his recall. We had no better option then. Carl Ikeme's illness has left us with goalkeepers that are not WC first choice goalkeepers. And we have found ourselves in that similar situation as 98 again. |

TheGoodJoe: Ezenwa being in the National team for two hundred years does not make him the better choice. If not, Peter Rufai would have attracted every shot to his finger tips like an electromagnet in France 98.
When the Foreign goalkeeper trainer screened them, reports pointed out that Ajiboye was better than Ezenwa. We have formed a habit of celebrating who came first as the better choice over quality. Take Ezenwa to Deportivo and I can bet a huge Stake that he will never keep Uzoho on the bench.
We should stop the idea of bending or dropping the better player with the funny excuse that the other is a grandfather in the team.
Give us clear cut reasons why he is the best or reports that said he was better in camp. Clearly, Ezenwa is not even the best among those in the local league. O yeah, and Rohr and his crew prefer to see Ezenwa at CHAN and not Ajiboye. OK continue. |
