Nomyth:
Bros, this thing dey vex me gan ooo.

How did amaju and that Ghanaian agree to this satanic arrangement?

This is the second edition on the bounce that Ghana will be missing, a global power at this level.

Now its Bfaso again.

This arrangement is all shades of wrong.

How I wish the U 17 world cup is like the senior world cup where ur confederation loses slot for non-performance.

By the time FIFA reduces Africa's slot to 1 or 1/2 maybe they'll get sense.

Rubbish.

I don't know how Amaju and the rest of the WAFU Leaders accepted this injustice.

Our U17 were lucky to manage to scrape through but our U20 were not.

The Zoning is bad and worse still, the grouping of teams into Groups in the WAFU B zone was satanic. When Nigeria, Ghana and CIV are put one group who are then the other WAFU B teams in the other group, it is likes of Niger, Togo, Burkina Faso and Benin. Such double injustice.

However, thank God CAF has increased the number of participating teams at the U17 AFCON to 12. So each of the 6 zones in Africa will Produce 2 teams (Which to me is still not fair).
If not we would have needed to beat that Ivorian team in that final to qualify for the U17 AFCON, which would have been a very very rough mountain to climb.

solonnachi:
Wickedness by CAF. Putting giant nations in the same group is real wickedness

Three countries that have the pedigree and potentials of finishing as top 3 in the world.

Nigeria through to WAFU B final.

Meanwhile, Burkina Faso were smashing teams in their group that had Togo, Benin and Niger.

What injustice in putting Nigeria, CIV and Ghana in same group.

seankafor:
It's now safe to say that iwobi has cemented his place as a first team starter for Everton FC

Some people will still call him a "bench warmer"

Golden Eaglets Through To Semi-final of 2020 WAFU U-17 Cup

Nigeria’s U-17 male team, the Golden Eaglets Tuesday booked their passage into the semi-final of the ongoing 2021 WAFU U-17 tournament in Lome, Togo.

The Fatai Amoo led boys qualified for the semi-final after Ivory Coast defeated Ghana by 3-1 in the last Group B match played Tuesday evening.

Nigeria needed Ivory Coast to do them a favour by defeating Ghana at least by a two goal margin.

Nigeria played two matches, lost one, and drew one against Ivory Coast and Ghana, respectively.

However, they qualified ahead of Ghana on goal difference.

Ivory Coast and Nigeria are now through to the semi-final and have qualified for the 2021 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

*Semifinals on Friday

1st Semifinals: Burkina Faso Vs Nigeria (5pm)

2nd semifinals: Côte d’Ivoire Vs Niger Republic (8pm)

Winners book a place in the final and a spot at the CAF U17 Nations Cup in Morocco.

jieta:
Is as if nigeria has qualify for un17 Afcon

Ivory coast beating ghana 3 - 1 pave the way for us.

We are only through to the semis of WAFU B. Only the winner of this zone qualifies for the CAF U17.

Yachambliss:
World cup dreams

As if they will hand him the world cup jersey like that.

O boy come chop training for naija first.
When them put you for AFCON qualifier first we go know your worth.

Salute to the People's Elephant. The only beam of light in the NPFL

If you couldn't do it then no other Nigerian club can.

It is a shame to see the extent to which our club football has degenerated.

andrewbaba44:
Kovacic was one of the worst players on field today

Rodri had a good game bros

Chelsea midfield did nothing

Such a bad day for Chelsea. They even played better against Arsenal compared to what we saw of them today.

elyte89:
I don't get dis picture of everyone placing oda potential striker behind osimhen..like say odas no fit good pass am or function pass am in eagles setting..no b say baba don score 40goals sef ...anyway ,I believe in d more d merrier..if we av oda good options ,it will be a plus..

"Other options", when Rohr neva load his team finish with defenders

komekn:
Some people are so stuck in the past they cannot move forward.

Using misinformation and disinformation to forward your opinion is very infantile.

Your reference to these past events are in the first instance TOTAL MISREPRESENTATION. But you just cannot change and show some maturity and balanced objectivity.

Happy new year 2021 it seems you are still stuck in 2015.

Please try and move forward with the rest of us to 2021.

Happy New Year bro.

Been a while o.

Happy New Year distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen.

We pray this year will bring better things for Nigerian football.

charlesemeka85:
oga the way una dey use past form and glory hype players baffles be atimes

When last did you watch Nwobodo play and what makes you think he deserves a place in the current super eagles set up?

The last time I heard he left hungary for a turkish top abi 2nd tier team where is is not even seeing regular playing time

If nwobo is good as hype why didn't any team from atleast the eirdevisie, Ligue 1, Russia or even the Swiss top tier snap him up frm hungary?

Na so una don hype Nwakali and no gree person hear word when he joined Huesca but currently bobo no dey even mk em team match day squad.

This hype and mentioning of players that won't even make any difference from what we have on ground already should stop abeg cus it's becoming very childish and sentimental

Bros calm down......

Kog45:
Sunday Dankaro,John Obapolor,Tony Ikhazobor,Emeka Omeruoa,Abdulmumini Aminu,Amos Adamu.

Pls go and check Super eagles between 1988-1994 and tell me what Amaju has done that surpasses that era.

Sunday Dankaro 1976-1982 should have been the golden era if not for own goal scored by Godwin Odiye that denied the team 1978 WC slot.

My man these NFF presidents I mentioned did a lot for Nigeria football development.Plesae check out Nigeria league in the 80s,90s even early 2000,tell me what we have now.

Pls stop using super eagles endorsement to rate Amaju, pls go and check NFF archives and see how Segun Odegbami did so well as NFF member by bring ing corporate organizations to assist eagles.

Nigeria first high profile match which was against England was packaged by Odegbami with the assistance of John Fashanu who convinced English FA with the aid of cadbury and some corporate bodies.

Pls check out eagles jerseys at US 94 and Tunisia 94 this marked the beginning of Nigeria brand and remember we are once rated best number five national team in the world.

Pls can you believe that Rohr contract have $2m compensation clause in it.

Pinnick has totally lost focus.

paulolee:

No female category because this year there were no female National team games with which to rate the female players. The awards are to reward national team performances.

Menh:
Introduction

Without doubt, the oil and gas industry is perhaps the most lucrative industry in Nigeria to pursue a career in. Given the natural endowment of crude oil in Nigeria, specifically in the south-south region of the country, the reason for this lucrativeness is not farfetched. In addition, in an analysis carried out by MySalaryScale in 2017, the oil and gas industry was confirmed to be the most lucrative industry to work in by employees based on the salary payment.

Also, it’s important to also mention that that most of the oil and gas companies in Nigeria are multinational and are not even listed in the Nigerian Stock Exchange all-share index. To this effect, most of them tend to pay their employees in foreign currencies. Most of these firms also have a salary structure that is designed on annual basis.

However, for better interpretation and comparison sake, we have decided to present these salaries in Nigerian Naira and also monthly.
