krattoss: this reminds me of something. .U watched watford vs stoke last two or three weeks ago...? U remember the brawl between troy deeney and Joe Allen, u saw how deeney lifted Allen up like a kid with two hands choked at his neck like a kid, and laughed and mimmicked him in the face.... Thats what u get when u f*ck with the wrong guy...
And from where i am...I can only imagine what will be the fate of the scape goat that will try to upset these set of guys u listed below..
Hahahahaha..Just remeberd how feghouli of Algeria headbutted shehu abdullahi, had it been it was somebody like oliha.. ...either he wouldn't have tried it or dude would have been in one hospital now chilling with drip and clutches as a result of broken ribs Honestly Shehu messed up there. The guy for act Nollywood movie there make that Algeria player collect Red card. A good number of those Nigerian players then were bullies. There was this Sunday Oboigbe that featured at Maroc '88, his face alone used to scare off opposing attackers. Oliha, Amokachi and Eguavoen were also bullies. Someone like Bright Omakaro, after Nigeria collected a red card, broke the leg of an Algerian player so that both teams were balanced at 10-10. And not 10 against 11. None of our players of today can do that for the team. |

FabioPeter: If you lose these matches you will demoralized the players, it’s better to play beatable team or teams that will allow us develop/showcase our strength. It’s good to go to the World Cup in high spirit. Nigerian teams have generally played better against big teams. They tend to be complaisant against smaller teams and end up struggling. Let us face the big teams in the friendlies. After-all all the teams we are facing in the WC are big teams. Even Iceland. |

Anybody born AFTER June will not be +1 by the time the World Cup begins. So, the likes of Iheanacho, Ekong and co will remain the same age they were when the survey was carried out What if they did the calculation based on years and months Eg 20years and 6months means 20.5; 23 years 3months means 23.25 and stuffs like that. Obviously, in 6months time all figures must change even if it is the decimal components. |

mazimee: Leicester City Boss Refuses To Rule Out Selling Kelechi Iheanacho In January Published: December 09, 2017
Leicester City boss Claude Puel has refused to rule out the possibility of selling Nigeria star Kelechi Iheanacho four weeks before the winter transfer market opens for business.
The Foxes have six strikers in the first team consisting of Iheanacho, Vardy, Ahmed Musa, Slimani, Okazaki and Ulloa, and the former Man City starlet has found game time hard to come by after making only two starts in the Premier League from a possible fifteen. ''Kelechi had an injury and after, for the moment, we have competition,'' Puel was quoted as saying by Leicester Mercury
''I am happy with Jamie for example. Kelechi or other players cannot play on the side. ''It’s difficult for them, but for me also to manage all these players because we have six strikers so there is no place for all the players.''
Puel added :: ''I try to respect them. Kelechi arrived this season and we will see. With all these games in this busy period, we will see.
''Time will tell. The window is not open, we will see. For the moment, we just look at all these games. We need all the players.'' Iheanacho penned a five-year contract with Leicester City in the summer for a fee in the region of 25 million pounds. The truth is Iheanacho is a surplus requirement in Leicester City. They only found out they didn't need him after his purchase. Don't even loan him, sell him out to another club abeg. We cannot be banking on a bench warmer for the World Cup. So bad he cannot get the cut at City, he can still not get the cut at a mid table team like Leicester City. Where does he go next? A top 6 team or a relegation threatened side? |

TheGoodJoe: Nigeria today has the youngest team in the World Cup with 24.9 years of average age. The figure may be even lower in Russia, as we spotted a 19-year-old goalkeeper in La Coruna.. Gernot Rohr
Call Martins crew, this is for you. Eh if you bring in a 19years old Okoye and then a 33 years old Martins the average balances out again be that naa. BTW by next summer all players would be +1 year old. So all averages will increase. |

blueto: I believe Moses should feature as wing back in a 3-5-2 formation and Ebuehi should play second fiddle to him as a right wing back. If Rohr decides to stick to 3-5-2 for the WC. And you chos Moses as first choice WB and Ebuehi as second choice. It simply means Shehu and Aina are surplus requirements to that RB position? |

You are also among those of us that believe Moses should feature as a forward and not as a WB. ...still waiting for Omanbala1's response |

Truidstar: Iceland are "Bloody Organized". Difficult to break down and very good at set pieces. Argentina has some work on their hands in their opening game. Argentina will play their linear passing, high pressing and probing game. From what I have seen, if Iceland scores first from a set piece, that game is as good as over. It is because they have been playing against European teams who also play organized football. I saw their coach the other day making mouth that they can beat us because we are not organized. I just laughed. Let them face us first and we will disorganize them with our unpredictable style of play. Our team is unpredictable. That is a major strength. Some opponents see us as a team which likes to build attack slowly while some say we are quick in building attack. Go look at all our WC qualifiers we approached each game almost differently. The versatility of our players did not help matters for our opponents. As you are planning to stop Iwobi from doing damage from the wings, he starts from a more central position. As you are planning to stop Etebo from the CMF he starts from the AMF position. Moses can initiate attacks from both the left , Right and centre. Maybe that is why the Icelanders see us a not organized meanwhile that versatility is our strength. Argentina are still Wondering how we managed to beat them in that friendly. |

blueto: Can you explicitly explain why the two from three of them need to be dropped? thanks We go with a Right wing back option. Meaning we need just one RWB Back-up. You pick Moses as the first choice, leaving room for one slot from the RBs. |

blueto: I have said it before that I prefer Moses as a wing back in this formation and I gave reasons for that and I believe they are justifiable reasons.
•He is good defensively •With more freedom playing for the SE, he can perform better and cause more havoc going forward as a wing back than he performs for Chelsea. He created two clear-cut chances for Chelsea against Athletico Madrid on Tuesday in that position from the highlight I watched. •The result yielding combination of Mikel-Iwobi-Iheancaho should be allowed to continue. Then chose two of who to drop between Shehu, Ebuehi and Aina. |

MetalJigsaw: If Iheanacho has to join the midfield from upfront, then where do you place the trio of Mikel, Ogu/Onazi, Ndidi It is Iwobi that I recommend would oin the midfield when on the offensive. I only used that Zmabia game to show we did it using Iheanacho for that role. See what I would recommend: When on the offensive: ..........Iwobi....Ihenacho Moses..........Mikel....................Simon Ndidi Idowu...Balogun...Ekong...Shehu When we are Chasing the ball or when the midfielders are not getting the ball well enough to the forwards, Iwobi drops a little deep: ......................Iheanacho moses..............Iwobi.............Simon ............Ndidi............Mikel That is why I said it will be a switch between 4-4-2 and 4-5-1 without necessarily making any substitutions. Ogu and Onazi are not on my starting list. |

blueto: that is one of the reasons of playing friendlies to get used to the formation. The formation worked against Argentina. According to Mikel, the coach told them the areas that they had lapses in the first place and corrected them and we saw a different second half.
Besides, I know some Nigerian players like Moses, Awaziem and others have all been playing similar with similar formations so it is not new to them. Where will you feature Victor Moses in this set up? |
