Hahaha, some say I am talking like Rohr already. Mathematically, that is what I am saying, we need only 4pts from the tie to secure qualification, even with two games to spare. But definitely, definitely I would want us to claim all 6pts. If nothing else for the sake of our FIFA ranking. |

TheSuperNerd: AFCON Qualifiers: Ndidi’s return from injury boosts Super Eagles
Nigeria’s Super Eagles’ quest to field a strong side in back to back AFCON 2021 qualifiers against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone, received a major boost on Monday as the team’s defensive midfield anchor Wilfred Ndidi posted a video indicating his return from injury, AOIFootball.com reports.
The Leicester City star underwent surgery on his meniscus last month, returning to action just 13 days later, but after two appearances against West Ham and Aston Villa, he experienced soreness in his knee and, an hour before kick-off, was withdrawn from the side that drew 2-2 to Chelsea a fortnight ago.
But on Monday, the Super Eagles star caused cheers amongst fans as he uploaded a video of himself doing fitness and light workout.
This will come as a boost for Coach Gernot Rohr who needs him for the all-important AFCON qualifiers next month against Sierra Leone.
Source: AOIFOOTBALL Good one. And good that we are fielding a strong squad for the double header. We just need 4points from the two games to secure qualification. |

TheSuperNerd: You don't know the full story yet you have already passed judgment. Na wa. The lad could not travel before late January as his Visa was being processed and now his registration with the club proper is close to completion but you can see he has resumed training with his new side and they aren't even thinking of sending him on loan to the Third tier anymore bcoz he has been quite magnificent in training so far according to a few reports. That means the lad is doing something right in training and in trying to get back up to speed and fitness.
Seriously, understanding of the context of a current situation is key before you jump in and pass judgment on the lad just bcoz he has been rightly criticized from time to time here. Well, "things don change" and the lad is trying to get back up on his feet. What you can do now is wish him well and not tag him a lad with no ambitions bcoa ambition is clearly the reason why he is pushing himself hard at training with his new club, Huesca. Finito. Son, our expectations on this guy has been so high. I don;t blame those who have continued to critisize him. Based on his potentials this lad should be doing big things by now. |

TheSuperNerd: OGN must be right bcoz AOIFOOTBALL carries this too.... Now the good news is more than confirmed.
Nwakali continues personal training, edges closer to Huesca debut
Former U-17 World Cup winning skipper, Kelechi Nwakali has stepped up his training exercise with Spanish second division side SD Huesca as he hopes to be fully fit in time to make his debut with the LaLiga chasers, AOIFootball.com can authoritatively confirm.
Having missed the first part of the season due to visa delays and work permit, the attacking midfielder returned to training late last month and has been on a special routine as he continues to work his way to full match fitness.
AOIFootball.com understands that the former Arsenal youth product has been placed under a special training by the club who have made clear their intentions to see the Nigerian features for the club this term as they believe he could add bite to their attack in their bid to earn promotion.
Nwakali joined Huesca on a three-year contract in September last year after leaving Arsenal but could now make his debut in a fortnight, with the club just one point off automatic spot as they sit 4th with 14 games left in the season.

TheSuperNerd: Just think about this for a moment... You may be wondering where Saka would fit in for us.
If or when Bukayo Saka joins the Super Eagles, I tip him to make those left wingback and leftback roles his in a 4-2-3-1/3-5-2 formations.
Saka may not start as our LW but he can start as our LB and LWB. Collins can bench for Saka.
In the final third, he will also act as another quality option on the LW alongside the likes of Simon, Kalu, Ejuke, Onyekuru... Etc.
Bukayo Saka actually has a role with us if we get him. He could be starting easily as our LB. No questions asked.
In case you haven't seen his outrageous piece of skill to set up Pepe... Here it is below.
https://twitter.com/MGH/status/1229102223587708928?s=19
#SakaForSuperEagles. Bukayo Saka is a natural winger and only a make-shift wingback. There is nothing wrong in we adding him to our pool of wingers. His stocks are rising and for a boy who just turned 18 last September and already contributing so much to a top EPL team like Arsenal....Nothing wrong in he competing for a place with likes of Simon, Kalu, Musa and Chukwueze. We need competition in various positions in the team and here it is. |

Honda Accord 2000 Model (baby boy) Bought it in 2008 and used it till 2015. Beautiful ride, smooth on the road. During the 7yrs period, I changed gear box once and the ball joint pulled twice. But that aside, the Car served me Wella. I had lots of good memories with the car. Like it appears in my wedding pictures. My first child went to school for the first time in it .(I still have the pix). I used it to bring my first child home from the hospital after birth(have the pix also). I sold it because I needed to upgrade my car status . Else car was still running smooth. |

TheSuperNerd: Is it what the Nike release say officially or are you just going by what you think it should be. Me I'm yet to confirm which of them is the home and away kits but from the 2018 WC edition kits... The bright one was the home kit while the darker was the away. For this 2020, time will tell which is which.
And well, white must not always be the away kit, Dad. Change is constant. I am talking about what it has always been. The green jersey has been home while the White has been the away kits. Pinick only changed that in 2018 Modified: And definitely from this design the one Kampala is the home jersey and the one you call the darker green is the away Jersey. |

TheSuperNerd: It is fine indeed and I agree it would have been finer if maybe the texture of the white was also altered a bit along the light green-white spectrum with a more perfect color match picked and yes, if perhaps the white was not entirely centralised.
Imagining it that way is also not bad at all. We could make it better, I agree but I also say it is indeed good enough for the branding image we are building upon.
You seem to have no major complaints for the Dark Jungle Green Jersey?
I still stand on our away kit being white and not any shade of green. |

Ok But that home jersey would have been finer if that white was not at the middle while still maintaining the Kampala design. And then imagine how it would have looked if the design was done on a white background jersey and made the away kit. |
