eusuph99: Good day guys, I have been posted to serve in Ogun State. People that I know that are working in oil companies informed me that they've stopped accepting corpers to serve there. If there is anyone that knows a good PPA in Ogun State relating to Geology with or without pay should please contact me. Thank you. Let me just chip in something here from my years of experience. It is no do or die for you to have your PPA in an Oil company. Teaching in a secondary school is one of the best ways of preparing you for the competition in the job market. How? When you teach, you read a lot and keep your brain very busy. I taught Geography and Mathematics during my NYSC. It was quite refreshing. There is always usually mathematics in most aptitude test questions. Teaching keeps your brain active. If you have an Opportunity in an Oil company fine, but if you don't, just go and teach. You will also gain from it. |

barackodam: From the last 15 pages I read.
All I could see were whining on why we need Eze. Bla bla bla.
Someone was even accusing another that he's pained cos Eze rejected, and the analogy,
"na una type dey gossip when woman rejects you" or something thereof.
Like seriously?
This is a NATIONAL TEAM for crying out loud. Is it that we don't have dignity again? Because I'm at loss.
I asked a question sometimes ago.
Osimhen is playing for Lille, now top clubs over Europe are looking for him Chukwueze is playing for Villareal and top clubs have enquired about his availability
You want England? Iwobi was playing for Arsenal and to Everton he went Ndidi from Genk to Leicester Ajayi went from Rotherham in League One to West Brom in Championship, and now unarguably, to EPL.
Look around our squad for crying out loud. All these players did this climb while wearing Nigerian jersey. They did it while playing for the Super Eagles.
It's such a shame that we can't even pride ourselves of dignity if we're still crawling to beg a player who is toying with us, under the guise of he wants to land an EPL team.
Is he scared he's not good enough? If he really wanted to play, he'd have played. If he did.
FFS, is Ovie not in the same championship? Why didn't Ovie play Eze's card of wanting to land an EPL team before committing?
I'm passionate about the team. Eze is a good player, no doubt. But I won't trade my dignity in begging a player to play for us, when if England comes calling, they wouldn't think twice before committing to them.
We all have our opinions, yes. We can want Eze(frankly speaking, I don't. He's bruised my ego already), but we shouldn't lose our dignity in calling for him by begging and begging.
There's no FB in the team at this moment that was "begged" before committing. Every player already knows who s/he wants to play for. The moment you start begging, for years, s/he never wanted you.
I hope Eze would put me to shame one day by playing for us, but frankly speaking, I don't see that day coming. Thumbs up for this post. Good day house. Hope we are still keeping safe. We will come out of this stronger by the Grace of God. |

do4luv14: So nah me done reach 80yrs abi
their two play in different eras,
put Mikel in Okocha era, he will look like a sore loner,
but put JJ in this era, he will acquited himself greatly Players are typically a product of their era. J-J Okocha's kind of "number 10" may not function well as today's "number 10". He will rather be played as a CM. Okocha was not much of an efficient player. Efficiency is what modern day football is all about. Mikel was built to be efficient, which is the bottom line of modern day football. |

naija best front 4- MIKEL
naija best CDM/AM JJ
naija bes SS/ST, PAPILO
so the arguments of being the best, hmmm
they three are the best in what they do
finito Can you please explain the first bolded? And second bolded, how was Okocha a Central Defensive Midfielder? Or what do you mean by CDM |

safarigirl: Guys, there's an argument going on on Twitter about Nigerian legends
The players in contention are JJOkocha, Kanu Nwankwo and Mikel Obi. Some are arguing that Mikel doesn't belong on the list, claiming JJ carried the team's he plays for and deserves better than to be named alongside Mikel.
Y'all know how I feel about Mikel, so, for the sake of neutrality, do you guys agree with this notion?
Cc tbaba1234, icon4s, thesupernerd, joebie, andrew44, komekn, darkelf, bascovanveli Now, it depends on indices used to rate the 3 players. In my opinion Mikel belongs to that class with Kanu and Okocha. So the comparison is valid. When it comes to club achievements it is: Kanu, Mikel, Okocha. If it is national Team contributions: Okocha, Mikel, Kanu. Mind u Okocha and Mikel are AFCON winners while Kanu didn't even score any AFCON Goal. If it is individual brilliance: Okocha, Kanu, Mikel. We had all three players in the SE at some point. I keep going back to that 2006 Team, that in addition to the above 3 players had Martin's, Aiyegbeni, Utaka, Odemwingie, Yobo, Taiwo, Odiah, Oruma, Obodo amongst others. With Enyeama, Ejide and Aiyebugba as the 3 goalies. A great team but the NFF refuses to get a good coach. We had the quality to storm the world in 2006 but we allowed Angola to take us shine. |

sureteeboy: If you look at this graph released on the 20th carefully, it examines the total tests conducted vs total confirmed cases in these countries. I keep wondering how many citizens have actually been tested in this nation. It its just about 500, and we've recorded over 60 cases already, then its safe to presume that 1 in 10 already have the virus.
I weep for Nigerians who never listen to simple instructions to stay indoors except when trying to purchase things essential for their survival. I went out briefly yesterday to purchase some drugs at a place which involves crossing to the other side of the road and my utmost surprise, I could still see lots of busses passing by people filled to the brim. They were not random tests. They were done only on those that must have had contact with infected persons. So only people with very high chance of contacting it were tested. This flaws your argument of 1 in every 10 Nigerians having it. |
