OMG! May their gentle souls rest in peace. |
if he likes he should add 100 players. We will still trash them. |
Antoinne:Not at all. They will jst observe 1min of silence and go back to their jobs. The rig owners charge their client on hourly bases so work must continue. The company may jst have to suspend all flight arrangement with Bristow and look for an alternative(another helicopter company) This morning already another crew is getting set to board another chopper to dat same rig while another is waiting to pull out if the rig today. Shiits like these happen all over d world once in a while but life goes on. |
Offshore rig workers. Hmmmm God protect his people o. |
namedonfinish:Ok. I too can boldly say u dont like money. So please transfer any money that enters into ur account to my account. |
Hmmm Oil workers from Escravos. Na Chevron workers be that o. That moment when u have spent abt 1month at an Oil field. Away from ur children ur wife, friends & co. U have already planned how u give ur wife or galfriend a treat in d bedroom & stuffs like that u know....As u are busy fantasicing hoping to land in 5mins, so all of a sudden d pilot shouts "mayday-mayday, adopt d brace position and get ready for impact!" and seconds later.......Hmmm. Trust me I know how things like these play out. I narrowly escaped one offshore of Escravos in 2007. The first things that came my mind at dat dying moment were my mom and d money I Had in my account. RIP departed fellows. |
Yet some lazy ass mediocres keep shouting that a 1st class is near impossible. |
Good. |
Let me take the lead here as FTC. He was a very skillful and creative attacking midfielder. He was usually played behind Rashidi Yekini. I will always remember his goal and celebration in the AFCON(Maroc 88) semi-final match against Algeria. His deflected shot beat the then Algerian goalie: Nasir Udeen, who had jst won the CAF Cup Winners cup with Entente Setif of Algeria. Algeria later equalized and Nigeria won I think 10-9 on penalties I also remember the prominent role he played for the U23 Team at Seoul 88 Olympics. Just as children of today use Messi or Ronaldo as their football role model, we used Okwaraji as our role model .Eg when some1 dribbles an opponent we jst shout "hmmm Okwarajiii!! although some also shout "Etim Esin". Continue to rest in Peace my once football role model. |
This day in history 12-08-1989 at the national stadium Surulere Lagos in the second half of a football match between Nigeria vs Angola, in one of the 1990 World Cup qualifier matches, we lost one of the best footballers ever born on the continent. His name was Samuel sochukwuma Okwaraji. Those that watched him play can also share fond memories of him.

qubie:Sure my brother. Hard work pays. Successes achieved through hard work are usually more sustainable and long lasting. |
Hmmmm, this memorable thread has found itself back. |
Now courtesy of Dstv and their wickedness. I am nt gonna watch this after paying for a whole for compact plus ![]() Abeg where is d nearest ctl office closest to Sapele rd in Benin.? Phuck dstv jare ![]() |
cashful:Ok thanks u sabi we yeeboes no dey too wash NTA shane semun.Na so so Oroba dem dey talk there. |
mijestic:I tell u with players liks Sterling, Aguero and Silva in that team Iheanacho will sit on d bench for most if d season. Jst like how Wenger promoted Alex Iwobi and u expect him to feature regularly in a midfield that has Ozil, Ramsey, Carzola, Chamberline, Wilshere, Walcott abi? |
AIG07:Iroha is right in that context. I feel most of this Nigerian young players are overhyped. He might jst at best put up a descent performance tomorrow. I am nt expecting much from him.I mean he is nt yet in d class of Aguero, Silva, Sterling, Navas, Coutinho, Alexis, Ozil, Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Carzola and d likes. So what wonders am i expecting from him tomorrow? The boy still has a lot to learn jor. Being loaned to a championship side for 1 season will add more value to his career. |
abduljabbar4:That ur 20, 000 will soon turn 20million. Sebi they caught 2 of ur brothers at India/Pakistan boundary trying to join Isis. Do u know how many of them that have joined already? They are coming to form Isis in northern Nigeria and continue with d blood bath. Dnt say I didn't warn you. |
abduljabbar4:U pple set urself on a path to destruction bc a Southerner hu is christian was in power.Even if the BH stops attacking today. The damage is already done. Many of ur men where killed. Ur women raped and children kidnapped. Many of ur women are pregnant for terrorist & will soon give birth to seeds of terrorism. U brought all these upon urselves. Now ur illetrate fulani cattle rearer of a president is considering negotiation and Amnesty to ur Killer brothers bc u all share d same faith of violence. |
ebitim:U have to b patient bro. To make it easier for them to reach u, some are here already in this section. Identify their monikers and copy them in ur post. eg cc: Icon4s |
Negotiate what? Kill them all. No mercy. Wicked heartless souls. |
sonofananimal:That kind English that can put food "IN" some body's table na wa o. |
fr3do:I perfectly understand what u are talking abt. The way out is to get our people into key and sensitive positions and nt to be crying abt Biafra. |
damosthottest:I am sure u know u owe me an apology. |
OduntanGabriel:Cele things. |
All hail the power of Jesus name Let Angels prostrate fall Bring forth the royal Diadem And crown him, crown him Lord of all. |
fr3do:The situation has not even gotten close to a stage where any form of referrendum will b called. U better think of how to maximise d opportunities u have in Nigeria. |
damosthottest:It is like the weed u took last night is still affecting ur vision & mind. I have said it before go back and check hu asked that question. |
And em Mr Damosthottest, shelve this ur "Biafra must come to pass" dream. We well meaning Igbos have moved on. And stop dwelling in the past. There is no moral justification for any govt to grant u ur wish of Biafra. It will even shock u dat if a referendum is done today Most Igbos will want to remain in Nigeria. Our parents & Grandparents paid d supreme price. Let us compete and strive for what is ours in Nigeria.Happy Sunday. |
damosthottest:Pls go back and quote where i said there was no Aburi agreement. And pls go through all my posts on this thread one after the other then come back here to appologise to me. |
damosthottest:My God : U can see how foolish u are. I thought i was discussing with a responsible person. Pls quote where i said there was no Aburi agreement. |
PilotOz:Dnt pay attension to dat guy. Bc he is a failure he thinks every other person will fail. Can't u see he has issues with his comand of English. |
This nairaland sef. Pple come here with different ficticios advice and comments. That how one went to d other thread on "hope for 2:2 graduates" and said "i have always maintained that if there is no vacancy u create one". I jst clicked on his moniker and saw as his profile a picture of where he works as a doorman at an eatary.I guess he was d one that created that job for himself. |
