Yes, all of them are playing in our next match. Except for the goal keeper and the defensive line, anybody who hasn't seen action so far would play in our next match. We have already won the group so we might as well play with our reserve team. So expect to see: Onyekuru, Osimhen, John Ogu etc lining up. The best thing that can happen to Nigeria is to be colonized by the United States, Canada, or Germany. Or else, Nigeria will remain the zoo forever - Zoological Republic of Nigeria!

Cameroun still get a chance to qualify. Technically, they just need to beat New Zealand to qualify. However, I still like our chances. Because for us not to qualify, then Cameroun would have to beat New Zealand by 2 or more goals and Chile would have to win by 5 or more goals. The chances of those two events occurring is possible but not likely. Cameroun can possibly beat New Zealand but, hopefully they will play a draw. And what about the chances of Chile winning their game by a 5 goal margin? That isn't exactly out of the realm of possibilities considering that they playing the group's whipping boy, Thailand. Thank you, my dear! And don't forget how they were helped by the ref against Wales - a team missing its best player (Aaron Ramsey) in that game. Portugal has a decent team and a great coach, but to say that Cristiano Ronaldo performed a miracle by winning the Euro with Portugal is BS upon BS! First of all, like a perfect storm, many things worked to help them win that tournament. Secondly, Portugal won in spite of Cristiano Ronaldo and not because of him. That's a fact! O pari Mickael2: You do understand that in 2016, Portugal actually finished 3rd in their group. Then was it not Wales they faced in the semifinals? Luckily escaping the big teams on their way to the final, in the final I think Griezman missed a penalty or was it a seater and Portugal won in extra time. Take away that best loser spot Portugal would not have qualified at all, then had it been they faced better teams they wouldn't have qualified either, in the Copa America if you rank third you are going home. Then in the UNL they faced Switzerland and Netherlands, no Spain, Germany, France, Beligium even England, I am not sure I get the point behind that UNL honestly. |

I agree. The Euro teams may be more technical but it's also easier for mediocre teams to win the Euro championship than Copa America. Hence, you can see countries like Greece and Portugal winning the Euro. And in the world cup, it's pretty easier for the Euro teams to do well just by the virtue of the fact that you have too many Euro countries represented. Those are facts not opinions, by the way O pari breezy147: I think this is just your perspective based on how you view South American teams as tough on the pitch.
But in reality, European teams are more technical and have a better head to head than them.
E.g Chile could not beat Germany in the last confed cup final, Germany defeats Argentina and Brazil recently, even us (Nigeria) beat Venezuela 3 - 1 in our last friendly game with them. |

BS upon BS!!! A 70,000 Euro car cannot make you go broke if you make 2000 pounds per week (or 4000 Euros per week). You just gotta know how to invest your money. After all, I don't make anything close to 4000 Euros per week but I drive cars worth close to that amount. And I am not broke either! And if you don't know how to invest wisely, you'll still go broke once the money stops coming in - that is, whether or not you purchased an expensive car! After all, it's not like your purchase a car every month. A car is a 7-10 year investment. Ndidi’s consistent performances have seen him linked with a number of high profile moves this summer, with the likes of Man-U, Arsenal, and Liverpool all reportedly interested in his services.
Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi says he is ‘flattered’ by the transfer speculation linking him with a summer move to top English Premiership club Manchester United.
Ndidi’s consistent performances have seen him linked with a number of high profile moves this summer, with the likes of Man-U, Arsenal, and Liverpool all reportedly interested in his services.
The 22-year-old’s has been linked with a move away from Leicester in the coming weeks following a sensational season at the King Power Stadium.
The Nigerian star was an ever-present for Leicester in the Premier League during the previous campaign with his combative midfield performances drawing plenty of praise from supporters and pundits alike.
“I am flattered when hearing such a thing,” Ndidi told Goal.com.
“I am focusing on AFCON with Nigeria now, and then pre-season with Leicester City. We have a great manager with the ambition to compete with big clubs in the Premier League.”

I agree with you 101% Andrew. It was not a penalty at all. And the ref waved play on; however, she was instructed to take another look by the VAR operators. Normally, once the ref had given a play on call in the field, the only way to overturn that call would've been for "a clear and obvious error". But in this case, the ref overturned a call even though there was no clear and obvious error. I think she was "intimidated" into making that call. Here's why It's in FIFA's interest to keep France and all the big teams in the tournament for as long as possible. And at that time, Norway was leading South Korea 2-0. Hence, if Nigeria were to score a fluke goal, France might end up qualifying in second place instead of the group leaders and meet a tougher opponent in the round of 16. FIFA wouldn't take that chance, hence the penalty call and the penalty retake. Football has become a big business and we (the African countries) are only there to make up the numbers. O pari andrew444: Yes
I said it yesterday and i will say it again, that ball was never a penalty
If var was 100% mancity would have eliminated tottenham.
But it seems everybody point of view is different as they are all crying that they should not have replayed the penalty when it was never a penalty at first as far as i am concerned. |

Assisat Oshoala always goes missing in big games. Fraud I hope she doesn't start our next game, if we qualify! O pari Icon4s: Kanu looks quite shaper and more skillful than Oparanozie. But what Oparanozie has going for her is her overall involvement in play. Asides, being the CF forward she sometimes drifts wide and interchanges with Oshoala(who also goes central some times).
My concern now is if we have a credible replacement for Rita Chikwelu. That woman has monopolized that CM position for like 10 years now and she always plays 90mins of every game. So I don't know if they have developed any player to fill that position in her absence. |
