Juliusmalema: Why won't it last long when only keke napep, motorcycles and leggedis benz are the ones plying the road...ndi ala
These people keep making mistakes of comparing apples to oranges. Umahi can afford to pump 10 billion on one road because the state's infrastructural needs are limited but Anambra can't do that. Anambra has urgent infrastructural needs and maintenance because we are a business and commerce hub.
The development in Anambra under Obiano can't be concluded by merely highlighting the few legacy projects then quickly compare them to that of Dave Umahi. Anambra has unique challenges that makes our budgeting and spending very intricate. Anambra is a fastly urbanizing state and if we focus chiefly on building few mega projects and focus on one city then our state will end up a squalor.
Under Obiano there has been a lot improvements in Healthcare, education and the results are there.
Not withstanding the testimonies of top government officials, i was more interested in the testimonies of the common Anambra workers (From 51:30)
Indeed, how many Southeast governors will their workers eulogize as paying them salaries regularly for the entire period they were governor? How many governors in oil rich Soutsouth states can their workers say this about them?
I have noticed that those online touts trying in vain to tarnish the name of Obiano are indeed foreigners and non-Anambra people. My guess why they embark on such negative behavior is as good as yours. They are jealous of Anambra's progress from arguably the worst state in Nigeria about 15 years ago, to about the best and most progressive state in Nigeria today. On top of it, they deeply 'hate" Anambra people as some of them have already explicitly stated here. So it should not surprise anyone why they gather to mock the airport in Anambra as "Audio project", but praise the one in Abakaliki that has not even done a control tower talk more the stone base of the runway as an authentic project!
That is why Anambra doctors are denied housemanship position in Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki, but Ebonyi doctors are even Head of Departments at NAUTH, Nnewi and COOUTH, Awka. Not to mention many Ebonyi house officers, nurses and janitors working in both hospitals. Yet, Anambra people are bluntly told they cannot be employed at any level in a hospital in Ebonyi state! You pipul see all these discriminations happening in Ebonyi state, and you justify it instead of condemning it. However, if Anambra has a public policy that no Ebonyi person will ever be a civil servant in Anambra or teach in any Anambra school, you all will say its wicked. But, you won't find your voice when Ebonyi enforces these wicked state-backed policies against Anambra people living in Ebonyi.
I guess I'm particularly sensitive about this issue because I was severally denied a job at Ebonyi state University Teaching hospital, Abakaliki before I finally traveled abroad. For 2 and half years, I couldn't get any internship in any of these Southeast state teaching hospitals without going to Abuja to get Minister's letter or paying heavy bribes! After the third interview, a family friend took me to the EBSUTH CMAC's house in Abakaliki and he told us point blank that even if he took my "gifts" and added my name, it would still be struck off the list because I was from Anambra! Mind you this isn't even a permanent job, its simply 12 months housemanship!! I was thankful he didn't take my "bribe" money and was very candid with me how things were, but it was such a painful experience for me then. So i can imagine what medical graduates still go through just because of their state of origin! After all these years in America, I was never subjected to such blatant discrimination. Even as a foreigner! That is why I intensely hate Nigeria, and i fear these evil practices Igbos have already learnt from being in Nigeria will not be brought into a new nation. God forbid we have such evil discrimination against fellow citizens in Biafra!
Enugu , Ebonyi and Imo carry out the same discrimination against Ndi Anambra even in their everyday life. I am a living witnesses to wickedness meted out on me by Ndi Imo. Any ffucking Anambra man that thinks Ndi Imo , Enugu or Ebonyi loves him is very sstupid. They hate Anambra out of envy , period. They always deny us jobs in their state but we keep our doors open for everybody to come in and enjoy the fruits of our land.
EastisBae: Your name is gwafaeziokwu and you're living up to that! Sometimes the sort of hubris and pride some people display here can be quite nauseating. Due to geography and torpography, some parts of Igboland became exposed earlier than others just like how Lagos areas and the Niger Delta minorities due to their proximity to the oceans were able get in touch with the Whites before others which made them to call we Igbos in the hinterlands "bush people". However, today, things have changed completely and no one from those areas can look down on Igbos anymore. The same thing is happening with the perception of Abakiliki people as "primitive people" in the past but no one can go there today and still say such because they are now seeing development at a fast pace.
Igbos are highly individualistic and democratic in nature. Right from the family, to the kindred, to the community and so on, we tend to compete with each other and this has helped in no small measure to make us achieve far more because no one wants to be left out. However, it is quite shameful when some fools will use state creation to insult other Igbos and ask them not to discuss "their state affairs" These fools are like cancer that is detrimental to the cohesion and progress of the Igbo nation. Some of them are impostors while others are paid agents used by politicians for selfish reasons.
It was the same way we had Ukpabi Asika, Emmanuel Ifeajuna, Ike Nwachukwu down to the gutter adviser in Lagos who all sabotaged our collective interests. We should always shame such characters at all times.
On one hand you pride yourself as being "individualistic" on the other hand you claim there is a "cohesion." Eidiots like you irritate me because you simply dont know where you stand. You want to protect your individualism like the Americans but dont want the Anambra man to be prideful. You Igbos are disgusting and that has made me to start developing a new identity for my father's land , Omanbala!
jimyjames: you can not be mentioning igbo igbo igbo doing well in Lagos and turn around to insult igbo from ebonyi with such hate, an insult on one igbo is an insult on all, the entire igbo suffered for the crime of nzeogwu all are igbo in good and bad let it be so
An insult to one Igbo is an insult on that Igbo person not to every Igbo. If an Igbo incur insult due to bad behavior then let that person get the ridicule.
My point here is that Ebonyi is constituting a mess in Anambra and that MUST stop. I don't hate them but the truth must be spoken. I see the names of apprehended criminals in Anambra and almost all are not from Anambra.
asha80: actually in way you can..let me ask you a question..have you noticed that most people undergoing the imu ahia system that igbo people are known for has tilted to ebonyi ..question is up and coming youths in anambra now that aren't education inclined why aren't they really interested in that anymore? Have you asked around to find out the people molesting business men around oba, nkpor, obosi? The people charging people that came to buy wares and keke? You really think it is non indigenes? If you aren't based in anambra call home and ask
Yes , igba boy or imu afia has shifted from Anambra to Enugu/Ebonyi but this is expected as new ideas and avenues for making money emerge. The fact that Anambra doesn't fancy igba boy nor imu afia doesn't mean they are just sitting idle. These youths are also going into a lot of businesses. Ndi agboro has always been present at Onicha , Obosi , Nkpor and Ogidi and Oba areas and these aforementioned towns were really never into trading, so you can blame agboro on not wanting to be a nwa boy.
I hope Ebonyi is lifted from poverty but I also pray my father's land becomes the most glorious city of the black African.
AtlanticBreeze: That Ebonyi is the poverty capital of the south is a fact.. Go and read the NBS last poverty stats.. Ebonyi has about 75% poverty rate, only competiting with core nothern states while Umahi is busy building malls and wasting money on Airport that over 80% Ebonyi people cant afford the fares. Someone here even said the flyovers he did are being used by keke and okada and that was the funniest thing I read so far..
I have no problem with Ebonyi, but Ebonyi people must know their governor is doing nothing.. Anambra won the best state that supports SME's in Nigeria, Umahi didnt compete with that instead he wants to build an airport...
Let Umahi continue chasing shadows and building expensive and unneeded infrastructures that should be used to develop the painfully poor masses of Ebonyi and heal their broken spirit. He want to show you ndi Anambra that they have biggest med school , concrete roads and beautiful bridges while poverty fester in the land...i see some wretched Ebonyi people jubilating over the lighted bridge and was mocking Anambra and felt so sorry for these deceived people.
asha80: writing about all igbos..same thing you are writing here is what some of them in lagos write too
Let the government of Lagos State do what is best for the state and if that includes kicking petty traders out of street so be it. However, Lagos is not a proper example. Igbo control a good chunk of Lagos economy. What does Ebonyi bring to Anambra other than uneducated masses in search of greener pastures , poor people , uncivilized people who litter the whole space and alot of babies the family can't care for ? What has Ebonyi added to Anambra economy ? Now , they are committing crime and soiling the name of my father's land.
I can name about 3 sectors Igbo has strong presence in and these Igbo a lot or majority are from Anambra..from Lagos Island markets to Trade fair to Ladipo to Oshodi etc. Igbo has contributed immensely in importation , hotel , real estate. The Igbo has made Lagos their own land and you can't push them off because they have invested so much. Don't compare apples and oranges
asha80: indigenous lagos can write this same comment
Will they be writing about Anambra , Imo , Igbo or Uhrobo ? Please, write a sensible comment. We are talking about how the same Ebonyi people who have been badmouthing Anambra are the same people who get away with illegal business that are not tax-regulated. They live in cheap apartments , do petty business with no significance to our economy. They commit many crimes and have tons of babies. Who will take care of these children. If something is not done Anambra will become a den of criminals
Ohaozara: "Ebonyi is the poverty capital of the south" isn't' generalization right? You can't compare life and death is a statement meant for your father abi? We're not inferior to anyone for those of you shouting "inferiority complex". I'm very proud as an Ohaozara man and Ebonyian. We never wished that Anambra remain stagnant while Ebonyi progresses as we never speak ill of anambra state, and we don't compare ourselves to any state. You guys are always the ones shouting Anambra vs IMO, anambra vs Enugu, Anambra vs Lagos, 1st class vs 2nd class Igbo etal. You always want to show off on this forum while attempting to bring others down. Continue your insults but note that we're taking note of all of them
Shut the hell up, you disgruntled ffhool. Anambra is popular because of many reasons which includes the features of many of our traditions on the Igbo culture, our historic significance, our strategic position on the map and a highly achieving individuals. Anambra is a mighty land and because of these we are highly spoken of. We don't blow our trumpets or star unnecessary threads to gloat but we will market and promote our brand. And , if that makes you sad... you can commit suicide for all I care!
You people have also been bragging all over the internet and taking jabs at us as if there was ever a competition. Imagine what will happen if you are in our position....Ndi Anambra are very civilized and hospitable. Your people have benefited so much from my father's land but all you do is abuse us....the land of my ancestors has fed and continued to feed your people but instead of you to be grateful , rather you came here to insult us.
cjrane: Igbos are generally proud people. Even my people in Anioma have had our own caricature moments from some southeast Igbos. i am not saying we have not given them back the same treatment in our own way. But it ultimately does not justify statements that we hate all southeast igbos. Although i do sincerely dislike some of them. But they are my kith and kin and I love them. No family is without some type of squabbles.
I do know because there is relatively greater prosperity in Anambra compared to Ebonyi, this stereotype will continue. That is why Ebonyi state government MUST focus on its NATURAL wealth-creating advantages and convert them into wealth! To make Ebonyi the land of prosperity and wealth! Agriculture is something that no state in the south can compete with Ebonyi state. therefore, a deliberate strategy of total eradication of poverty on the bedrock of agricultural industrialization of ebonyi state must be a policy of the state government.
The guinea worm pandemic of the past dealt a huge image problem to Abakaliki. A lot of people still think Guinea worm is still in the area. That is why i love the fact that Umahi is doing a lot to develop and project the state. My only concern is that his heavy focus on physical infrastructure is not matched by the focus on economic development through a purposeful focus on creating massive industrialization through agricultural value chain processing industries. Imagine if we had a massive number of noodles factories in Abakaliki - Afikpo converting the abundant high quality rice into pasta for export. If we had yam and cassava flour factories, if we had tomato factories, if we had massive fish farms in Afikpo producing smoked fish for the entire West Africa region. if we had massive cattle ranches OWNED BY THE PEOPLE to produce powdered milk, cheese and ofcourse beef. Just think of the revenue it would be accruing the state and the number of goods jobs that will be created within the Abakaliki - Afikpo axis.
My concern is that instead of focussing on the area where Ebonyi has the natural advantages, we are replicating Enugu! Which isn't bad if we still find some resources to devote to agricultural transformation as we develop the malls. But, without creating a net increase in good jobs and factories in Ebonyi state, nobody will move from Enugu to Abakaliki even with the brand new malls. The Enugu airport will always be busier than Abakaliki airport even if the Abakaliki terminal is newer and bigger and so on. Because you are playing second fiddle to what has already been done in nearby states. Ebonyi needs to think outside the box and use its fertile land to ultimately industrialize the state. That is the right path to prosperity for Ebonyi state.
I didn't even see this before I wrote mine. Let Umahi continue with his "my papa house big pass your papa own" while his people sunk further into abject poverty
...As police discover baby factory, four pregnant young girls awaiting delivery
It will be recalled that on 11/3/2021, there was a report at the Area Command Headquarters, Nnewi, that a four year old child of St Joseph's School, Otolo Nnewi, was returning home from School in company of his siblings when two men on a motorcycle grabbed the child and zoomed off with him.
However, the child was rescued by some commercial motorcyclists who pursued and eventually arrested the suspects at Akamili Community, Nnewi.
Preliminary investigations conducted by the Police revealed that the suspects who were beaten to stupor by an angry mob (one of whom was confirmed dead), were sent by One Gladys Nworie Ikegwuonu, presently at large, who also operates a baby factory and a brothel by keeping young girls and getting them impregnated after which she sells the children to her waiting customers.
Two suspects arrested are Abuchi Ani, 'M', aged 32 years, of Ohazora, Ebonyi State, and Emeka Ikegwuonu, 'M', 49 years, of Akabukwu, Nnewi, Anambra State.
Consequently, four pregnant young girls were rescued as follows:
(i). Chisom Okoye, 'f', 20 years, of Mgbaneze Isu, Onicha LGA,. Ebonyi State (ii). Chinecherem Clement, 'f', 18 years, of Agbaebo Isu of Onicha LGA, Ebonyi State. (iii). Blessing Ogbonna, 'f', 21 years, of Nkwagu Isu of Onicha LGA, Ebonyi State. (iv). Blessing Njoku, 'f', 21 years, of Mgbaneze Isu of Onicha LGA, Ebonyi State, all residing at Cool Joint bar Nnewi.
Meanwhile, the Command is intensifying efforts to arrest the principal suspect, one Gladys Nworie Ikegwuonu, 'f', of Ohaozora, Ebonyi State, in order to bring her and other accomplices to Justice.

When I tell people that Anambra is littered with Ndi Ebonyi are nothing but a set back to our progress people think I am mean. Check all the names of criminal who have been arrested in Anambra and you will find out most are either , Imo , Ebonyi or Enugu. Go to Umuoji , my home town not a single Ebonyi or Imo man has a pin but they litter the whole place with refuse and commit all kinds of crimes.
Dave Umahi is busy building useless edifices that add no value to the life of average Ebonyi man while Anambra is filled with Ndi Ebonyi who are mostly involved in petty trading , okada and crimes. They breed like dogs and litter everywhere with children and mess.
Dave Umahi and his people have been taking turns to tell us how many white elephant projects he has build but what about the teeming poor masses of Ebonyi ? The useless governor has misplaced priority...you can compete with a person who is 100 miles ahead of you. The sort of gigantic projects Umahi is building show nothing but EGO TRIP.....I will show this Anambra people that always look down on us that we can beat them.
Of course , I have no problem with healthy competition but what exactly are we competing for when 1/4 of your population are feeding off my father's land. Take them back , clean them up and provide them with skills and jobs and stop the EGO TRIP with your useless gigantic projects.
Ofodirinwa: Nna, Eri is the founder of 6 Igbo villages, not Igbo people. And when he arrived his on earth in the same story, their neighboring Awka people were even there before them.
Eri has nothing to do with Igbo origins. If you're from Oduduwa, be that but don't impose yourself on other people's identity. Yes their are commonalities but try not to draw conclusions with limited understanding.
An average Imo man wet himself at the mention of Eri/Nri/Nri Awka. Your mission here is to distort Eri/Nri history and antagonize us. This is not about who founded what community but the impact they made. What impact did Aro and Isu made other than selling slaves ?
EzeNri: I am Igbo and we traced our origin to Nri.
So what are you saying?
You are NOT from Anambra there you can't have the Eze Nri title. You are a ffucking impostor! Be proud of your home land , it's extremely offensive to parade your person with an Nri title.
You have no respect for the most prestigious traditional institution in Igbo land...ffuck off , you inferior!
It's a confederacy because we believe in Democracy, not bowing to stupid pot-bellied autocratic kings.
Your moniker said "Eze Nri" but I see a man who is impersonating Anambra to spit her. You are not from Anambra and please you are insulting Anambra people. Anambra is the home home of Nri ,,Aguleri , Awka , Okodu , Anaedo , Omanbala ,Iguedo etc.
Subzero047: Ex Footballer, Finidi George Faults Coach Gernot Rohr Over AFCON Qualifiers Squad March 12, 2021 Former Super Eagles player, George Finidi, has faulted coach Gernot Rohr’s squad list for Nigeria’s 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho. On Tuesday, March 9, the German coach released a 24-man list that included Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, who has been without a club since leaving Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr last October. Genk striker Paul Onuachu, who has scored just once in seven appearances, has failed to replicate his club form for the national team. For his club, he has scored 26 goals with three assists in 30 games across all competitions. Speaking with Punch, George Finidi admitted that Musa is a quality player who has done a lot for the country but should not be on the list on the basis of form or fitness. The 49-year-old former winger also questioned the process of inviting players to the national team before saying that striker Paul Onuachu’s poor form with the Eagles has been down to poor coaching. “Coaches should be made to defend their list when they come up with names that are questionable. Coaches should not be left alone. “They should be made to explain how they arrived at certain decisions on who they invite. Journalists should question the names on the list.” “I have a problem with his list, selecting centre-backs as midfielders and right-backs in the midfield.” “In the case of Paul Onuachu, who was snubbed, if you want a player to perform, you set up your formation in a way to make him comfortable. He has struggled largely because of poor coaching.” “This is Rohr. The coach you expect to take us to the World Cup and win the AFCON. If he was a Nigerian that made these decisions, we would critique him, but here’s a coach who is supposedly very experienced, the choices are questionable.” The Super Eagles will face Benin in Porto Novo on March 27 before facing the Lesotho three days later in their final 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, on March 30.
Of course , the list is questionable. When has his lists not been questionable ?
How can you drop two of your hottest strikers in Europe. Like Finidi said, Onuachu's inability to perform rest on the laps of the coach(Rohr). There is something he is not getting right with Onuachu. Maybe it has to be the way he plays him. You isolate him and doesn't feed him balls and expect him to score.
Beautiful goals by Simmy Nwankwo. He is growing tremendously in confidence and deserves a call by Rohr. He is a little slow but we can play to his style.
Bouz: Imo, mbaise precisely is the worst. That list is somehow looking expensive to me o! Am surprise some people above me are saying it's cheap , Abeg where una dey see this money naw. i will like to see too
You aren't ready for marriage it seems because if you can't afford a basic requirement how do you plan to care for your family.
ObosiFirstSon: Ito-ogbo OBOSI FESTIVAL (LONGEVITY CULTURAL FESTIVAL OF OBOSI KINGDOM) IN ANAMBRA STATE NIGERIA. Ito-ogbo Obosi festival is an aged-long cultural festival of Obosi kingdom started around 1450, to thank God for the aged ones (octogenarians ) in Obosi kingdom, It is a festival of celebration of longevity, A traditional mass birthday party for the age grade that attained the age of eighty ( 80 ) years, and above. During the occasion, the Octogenarians are honored with the title of Ogbueshi/Ogbuefi, or Nwanyi Nnokwudo eshi/efi in case of women, which people refers to as, Ogbueshi/Ogbuefi Nwanyi nowadays. The title Ogbueshi is a powerful, prestigeous, respectable, adorable and admirable title in Obosi kingdom, which every true son and daughter of Obosi, even the wives( non indigenes) married to Obosi men pray to get in his/her life time. Though there are two categories of Ogbueshi/Ogbuefi in Obosi. The first is that given to those that did Ito-ogbo Obosi festivals, that is the octogenarians. The second is the one given to those that may or may not be up to Eighty (80)years, that one is called Ogbueshi/Ogbuefi Odina-ana.
Records of the establishment of this cultural Festival of Obosi Kingdom and the age grade group system date back to 1450. Obosi People kept accurate records of their ages from as far back as the 18th Century, unlike some other towns in where ages were usually exaggerated or estimated through events or circumstances during the birth of their fore fathers (OBOSI FURU-UZO NO OGE-GBOO). This festival helps give credence to the fact that Obosi kingdom is the first Igbo town, the first town in Nigeria, if not the whole Africa, that holds a longevity cultural festival, and as one of the Cradles of Igbo Civilisation.
In the olden days this festival to honor the Ogbueshis took place after every Six (6) years, for the people that attained the ages of 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, and 85 years, but later it was changed to three (3)years covering people of 80, 81, and 82 years.
Previously only male octogenarians were honored with the title of Ogbueshi/Ogbuefi and allowed to wear Red cap chief, then the female octogenarians were called Nwanyi Nnokwudo- eshi/efi but in later years female Octogenarians joined their Male counterpart to celebrate the Ito- ogbo Obosi Festival and were subsequently referred to as Ogbueshi/Ogbuefi Nwanyi, but without a cap or hat, until 2012 when ogbo Udokamma age (1931-1 933), celebrated their own; it was at that festival that the female octogenarians were also capped with a specially designed hat. The Celebration is nowadays a week long program with different unique activities that attract people from all over the world, until the last day Sunday,( EKE), when the Christians among the celebrants go to their different Churches for thanks giving.
The non-believers or the custodians among them are decorated colourfully and they take their native cows(bull)( Eshi- Igbo) amidst different cultural displays to Eke Obosi ( IPU-EKE), where they shoot guns into the air in Jubilation and to announce that they have attained the grand age and Ogbueshi title which every true Obosi man or woman aspires to attain. During the procession they sprinkle various gifts (money, sweets, chewing gums etc.) to the children in appreciations to what The Lord has done in their lives.
Some of the week-long activities are free seminars, lectures, talks on how to live long, free medical Checks, free medical tips, cultural displays, football matches, music concerts, masquerade displays, Honoring outstanding sons and daughters and good friends of Obosi kingdom who have been contributing in one way or the other for the progress of the town, beauty pageants to crown Ada-Obosi, The Ito-ogbo eve on Friday then the main capping on Saturday followed by the thanksgiving on Sunday or IPU-EKE on that Sunday EKE day. Activities are currently in top gear in Obosi kingdom for the preparation of Ito-ogbo Igwebuike Age grade (1940 - 1942), coming up next month (this week) between 5th and 6th March 2021.
Those who want to witness this unique, cultural festival called Ito-ogbo Obosi need to start now to book for hotels around Obosi, Nkpor, Onitsha, and Oba because in the next 5 days all the hotels around these areas will be fully booked, except they want to lodge in neighboring state Hotels, I also advice those intending to witness Ito-ogbo Obosi Festival that there is no need of budgeting for food or drinks or meats for the week long Programs as Obosi kingdom will be filled with merry making with plenty to eat and drink for all visitors.
Long live Ndi Ogbueshi/efi Obosi. Long live Obosi Kingdom. Long live Igwe Obosi, HIS ROYAL MAJESTY. Igwe Chukwidubem Iweka III and his Ndi-Ichie.
Long live Anambra State.
Long live Nigeria. My prayer is that we all shall live to witness this unique prestigious, respectable, adorable, colourful, admirable longevity festival in Obosi come March 2021.

And what in the world does "Igala associated communities" mean ? This is not how to discuss history. The northern Anambra Igbo has inhabited the areas we currently occupy since 8th century. In fact , we are the proven oldest ethnic group in southern Nigeria. We have artifacts that outdated anything you can find across Nigeria.
I enjoyed reading it. As an Ife prince that you are, I'm not surprised that you have some esoteric knowledge of Yoruba history and migrations that are NOT fully in the public domain.
About the ichi mark... are you saying it came from Yorubaland originally based on what you wrote above?
I do know that "Afa"[Ifa in Yoruba and Igala] is consulted before a new Eze Nri is installed and the Nri was influenced by the Igalas who introduced kingship to that part of Iboland. Igalas also consult Ifa before a new Attah of Igala is coronated.
No doubt Yoruba bloodlines run in Igalaland just like the current Attah of Igala stated in a Sunday Punch interview in 2017 that I posted on Igalaschools's thread.
But then who were the people that lived in Ife before the Oduduwa Dynasty stated? Where did they originally come from?
Prof. Jide Osuntokun[A historian and former Nigerian ambassador to Germany wrote in 2004 about the fact that autochtonous or aboriginal Yorubas lived in Ife before Oduduwa came to start a new dynasty.
The Olugbo of Ugboland, Ilaje axis in Ondo State also indicated that it was his people that were in Ife but Ifa instructed them not to fight but leave to avoid blood shed when they his forebears had issues with the Oduduwa arrival.
Thanks in anticipation of your response as usual AND YOUR CONTRIBUTION to an understanding of Yoruba culture and traditions.[Not the kindergarten history information children were taught in primary schools back in the day]
Signing off!

Please , I implore you to post the historical proofs of Igala "conquest" of northern Igbo land if you are going to talk about these things.
Also , please , educate us about these kingship Igala introduced to my own Anambra. Be elaborate and furnish us with facts not wishful thinking.
However, it's on record we the Nri/Anambra introduced 4 market days to Igala and the Ikenga cult. How can you conquer somebody yet you have no presence in these places ? Igala and Anambra/Igbo share bother and even intermarried but don't stretch it. We have facts about the Omelu-Igala lake where Nsukka dealt a devastating blow to Igala.
Bogus001: The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has dispelled rumours that one of the three flyover bridges he built and named legacy projects was collapsing.
The flyover is located along the Enugu-Onitsha expressway in Awka, Anambra State.
The state Commissioner for Works, Marcel Ifejiofor who represented the Governor during a Thursday morning inspection tour said the Aroma flyover is strong and safe, contrary to the insinuations and scaremongering on social media that the bridge was collapsing.
Ifejiofor who took journalists around the bridge stated that the alleged cracks being posted around as a sign that the bridge was collapsing had nothing to do with the integrity of the bridge, as it remains solid.
“The gap is on the side embankment on the Enugu approach which has made scaremongers to shout was added following an accident involving a big lorry on the Kwatta bridge.
“The Aroma bridge was built to global standard, and the expansion is an intrinsic part of bridge construction and does not indicate a crack.
“The three Flyover bridges at Aroma, Kwatta and Amawbia were awarded in 2014 and 2015 and remain safe not to mention the fifteen other bridges built across the state by the Obiano administration.
“Our projects are built to last. People are questioning why we put a barricade to stop heavy-duty vehicles plying it, but we know why. It’s a hilly area, and we don’t want articulated vehicles failing while plying them. We are very well aware of what we did there,” Ifejiofor said.
The Commissioner assured Anambra people of the commitment of Governor Obiano to the safety of lives at all times.
Earlier, the Construction Manager of IDC, Yousssef Zghaib, who handled the project, said that the embankment and the bridge are separate units and assured that there is no cause for alarm.
This news article is both nonsensical and disgraceful. Obiano and his Aguleri gang have turned Anambra into their little looting ground but posterity will judge him.
It doesn't matter whether the embankment is separate from the bridge or not the point is that a shoddy job was done and a huge money was paid for it.
