War is an art which could teach us one thing or another. It is funny when certain dingbats from northern region of Nigeria talk about war. One thing that comes to my mind when these dumbass punks invoke war in their silly speeches remains the goons actually learnt nothing from Nigeria/Biafra war. Who shall be the principal combatants, foes and the allies? I shall advise Nigerians to go to the table of negotiation in order to seek ways of disunion from the shithole called Nigeria. If the Dam called Nigeria would bust, the rapid currents will definitely not obey the silly and imaginary boundaries.

Please we already have a country. Let us fight to make it equitable than destroy it to start from beginning

Besides, Ebonyi was marginalized so much under other Igbo states and is fearful of further marginalization in a new Igbo Republic. So he has a point in insisting Ebonyi will not be part of a Biafra Republic.

He is the Number 1 Citizen of Ebonyi state and his voice resonates the decision of the people which he lead.
You can work 24/7 for a century, Nigeria will never amount to anything more than a shithole talk less equitability. "A stitch in time saves nine". Ndigbo should be better off walking out of the shithole called Nigeria than working for imaginary equitability. Are you not part of the goons who signed for quota system for northerners and nothing for the southerners? Yet you have audacity to mention work to make the shithole called Nigeria equitable.

IhateYouMan:
Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, has said the state will never be part of Biafra.

This is as the governor stressed that the state was better in a fair and equitable Nigeria, reiterating that “if anybody tells you about Biafra, Ebonyi State will never be part of Biafra”.

Umahi stated this at the Ecumenical Centre, Abakaliki, on Thursday, during a reception organised for him after declaring his presidential bid, in Abuja.

According to the governor, “Let nobody be afraid of the Presidency of an Igbo man. The Igbo man is a builder and not a destroyer. There is no Igbo man that will be the President of this country and would like to divide or destroy it because we have investments everywhere.

“First and foremost, I have been saying it. If anybody tells you about Biafra, Ebonyi State will never be part of Biafra. We are not Biafra.

“We have so oppressed and now we are finding our feet and you want us to go back. We will not. We will not.
This is the ranting of deluded fool. A dingbat who cannot raise one man army has the effrontery to voice his inconsequential rant.

Bonavi:
I wish other Nigerians can tap into this quality of the Yoruba race.
Yorubas have played important role in the freedom and emancipation of this country.
Yorubas more than any other region were at the forefront of the ENDSARS protest that saw the end of SARS and its brutality. There were mega protest in all the major towns of the Yoruba nation. Even in the midst of brutal security clampdown, the Yorubas stood tall.
That same courage were demonstrated in the lives of Gani Fahwenmi, Fela and current youth patriots like Macroni, Fals and many more.
Yorubas were the only race that went to the national conference 2014 with clear proposal for a better Nigeria.
Even though Buhari government turned to be the costliest decision, they were partly instrumental to the end of Jonathan's regime because Jonathan woefully failed in his mandate and promises to lead.
There are still Yorubas who have continued to sabotage the efforts, thats the ruling class as it is in other regions and these ruling class in conjunction with other counterparts from the other regions have continued to render any dreams of better lives for the Nigerian people and youths in particular
Thats the reason am calling on the heroes and patriots of the Yoruba youths in conjunction with the Igbos and all other lovers of freedom to rise to the occasion to redeem this beautiful nation from the claws of the old rogues in agbada. They have destroyed this country and the lives of the people of this country more than enough and the youths bear the biggest brunt.
We really can salvage this country if the youths can unite. The unity of the youth is what the ruling class are most afraid of why they would always divide us with ethnicity and religion.as it happened during the ENDSARS
We can do this with enlightenment, plan, organisation by initiating a 100percent youth party. Its time to take the mantle of leadership. There is no more youths are leaders of tomorrow, that tomorrow is now
Yoruba have no courage. If being courageous is shaking in pajamas when a son was killed in Ibadan by drunks from northern region in Nigerian army, cowardly run to the military governor of northern region to pacify northern elements in Nigeria army and boldly joined northern region to prosecute a war of attrition against eastern region, I had kicked the so-called courage into a gutter.

I am happy the putschists of the coup on January 15, 1966 in Nigeria were not dull brains who seemed to populate this forum. While should an Igbo leader be killed? Those who perpetrate coups do not go about it on merry-go-round killing of individuals. They go after targets that committed crimes or embarked on divisive political policies and actions. The statement of defeat in a war is born out of ignorant stream of imagination. There was no single region capable of crossing arms with eastern region alone. I must reiterate that without the help from British, USSR, Canada, Australia, Arab League of Nations, Cameroon, Niger and Chad, Nigeria with its numerosity advantages could not defeat Biafra.

Igbo fought civil war out of sentiment, says NIROH president, Dr. Paul Okoye.
By Gordi Udeajah (Umuahia) and Charles Ogugbuaja (Owerri)
11 January 2022 | 3:47 am

• PDP scribe Anyanwu, raises the alarm over plots to discredit him.

President General of Ndigbo Royal Heritage Worldwide (NIROH), Dr. Paul Okoye, has stated that the Igbo fought the Nigerian civil war out of sentiment, but its politicians can not realise their quest for Nigeria’s president in 2023 through sentiment or deceit.

Speaking in Umuahia, Abia State on the sidelines of the NIROH conference for 2023 general elections tagged: Igbo President or Interest, at the weekend, he said the Igbo ought to eschew ethnic campaign, work hard and invest strategically to actualise the president of Igbo extraction.

He stated that the Umuahia conference was convened to strategise on the best way to actualise the quest for an Igbo person as the next president of the country in 2023.

Okoye said Ndigbo had not come to terms with the reality of their existence partly because they have never accepted that they were defeated in the war, adding that time has come for them to come to face the realities of their existence and try other alternatives.

“The North is static, while the West and the East are dynamic. Whoever aligns with the North rules the country. We did it before and we can do it again. Suffice to say that we have the West to checkmate in our quest for Aso Rock.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo gave the West their share. Goodluck Jonathan gave the South-South their share. President Muhammdu Buhari is serving the share of the North. So it is only natural that the Igbo get 2023. But the sad story is that we stand to lose our chances in 2023, if we fail to understand that power can not be acquired on a platter of gold,” he added.
Sometimes, I wonder who awarded the Ph.D certificates to most Nigerians. I am really flabbergasted to hear the most important thing to this goon is the presidency of the shithole called Nigeria. I meant a position once held by a dumbass from Katsina named Muhammadu Buhari. This hungry jackass has a value issue. It is very silly to remotely insinuate the presidency of a foolish country such as Nigeria is more important than the self-determination of Igbo people. What a joker.

In 1970 after the war the Nigerian government generally gave £20 of Nigerian money to every eligible adult but no one has ever done the math.

Let us assume their were one million of them =£20million Nigerian

We know that the Nigerian pound exchanged for £2 pounds sterling in 1970 so
that would be £40 million . What would that be worth today

according to this inflation calculator

https://www.moneysorter.co.uk/calculator_inflation2.html
it would be
£432612859. Sterling
Not sure what sterling is doing these days but @ 475

that is

205491108025 Naira

200 billion

Assuming it was 1 million people that received the money. No one has ever told us how many did but I think it could be double that.

For a country to pay that out immediately after a war of such devastation is a huge feat considering that Nigeria was not even a major oil exporter in1970 and in 1970 oil prices were under $4 which when adjusted for inflation in today's money is $21.

It is a testament to the prudent financial management of Papa Awo who also kept the allocation of East Central state for 3 years and paid it all after the war

But they are not grateful and feel entitled to that payment. What have we done for the NE . Imagine finding 200 billion to give them today when oil prices in real terms are 3 X what they were in 1970

The standard of living was much lower. Let me put it in Perspective our standard of living then, There was no Lagos Ibadan Expressway. No East -West Road. PH to Aba was a single carriage way.The Air assault camp was the main airport in PH Omagwa airport did not exist. There was nothing like presidential jet. Where were the airports?
The country was broke with very little compared to today but still gave generously in the spirit or sacrifice and reconciliation
The bolded is an idiotic conjecture only formed as a figment of silly imagination. Nigeria did not give £20 to every surviving male in Biafra. The £20 were given to anybody who had a proof of owing bank account before the Nigeria/Biafra war started.

Get your facts right;

Awolowo was only premier of Western Region between 1952-1959. During the civil war, Military Governors were the people in-charge of the S/West and not Awolowo.

Awolowo, was not in-charge of feeding Biafrans, so the often repeated allegation that he starved Biafrans is a bold lie.

What really happened was that the Federal Military Government effected a land, sea and air blockade of Biafra to prevent smuggling of weapons into the secessionist enclave.

It must be noted that by this time, the Ijaw, Ogoni, Oron ,Efik and most of the coastal peoples cooperated with the military Government to make sure that this policy worked.

The Gowon Regime provided a safe land corridors for food and other relief materials to reach Biafra with the condition of 100% inspection by Federal Authority, a great humanitarian gesture which the Biafran Authority rejected. Ojukwu, instead preferred air-lifting of food (+ weapons) from Sao Tome & Principle to land at a clandestine 'Airport' called the Uli Airstrip which operated between 12 midnight -3am.

When the 3rd Marine Commando under Obasanjo captured the Uli Airstrip in 1969, it signalled the beginning of the end of Biafra.
The bolded is very wrong therefore the subsequent junks are wrong too.
