paramakina202: So we lost 4mln of our people just to impress our enemies and earn their respect and became a defeated people? Forget about IPOB nobody send them market. What I meant is that when Northerners was rioting going from house to house killing Igbo people in the North we should have retaliated in the East rather Ojukwu was playing nice guy and gave them protection or safe passage back to the North. We should have given Northerners living in Eastern region eye for an eye treatment until Hausa/Fualni will come back to their senses.
Those who bring morality to the fence of war have no place in diplomacy. I had rather fight than succumb to the sight of a drunken soldier from northern region. Do you know how people Nigeria lost at the battlefield? I had wanted every person to study the historical facts about Nigeria and Biafra before any conclusion. Ironsi was alive and saw the first wave of pogrom in northern region in May 1966 yet stayed docile. It is unfortunate Ndigbo had a drunk at the leadership position.
paramakina202: The battle for Onitsha was difficult for the invaders due to River Niger nothing more, once they they were able to cross the River Niger, Onitsha failed to their hand. Biafran army were ill eqquiped to defend her territories.Nor matter what military tactics Ojukwu might have adopted Biafra was doomed to failed.Instead of going for secession Ojukwu should have allowed 'street' to take their revenge on the northerners who were killing our people in North until the whole problem is solved.
Ojukwu did what any military tactician should have done. How much of the "Street" is a proven tactics today with IPOB? Biafrans earned their respect from Nigerians even till date. Most Nigerians are still bewildered on the instance small Biafra with nothing was able to sustain war of attrition for such long period. Any rumble in the east remains the utmost concern to Nigerian government.
owagbeba: Hello. I guess you know quite a bit about the civil war era. I wonder why the Biafrans fought like a national army Knowing they lacked a lot in armament? And they sustained that strategy till their defeat.
Do you think irregular approach or guerrilla would have made much difference in the outcome of the war?
Reading Chinua’s “there was a country,” one can see that the Biafrans were fightBig to hold territories. I think that was a wrong approach against a well armed “regular” Nigerian Army.
What do you think?
Biafrans fought like a national army because Biafra was a nation. In terms of armament, Nigeria did not fare better initially however it got international help from real military powers in the world.
kingawothefirst: This is a big lie, actually he regretted ever aligning himself with biafrans. He wrote a letter to Obasanjo dreaming of Nigerian unity and planning to build a Nigerian army inside biafra.
You are one of those Nigerians who are ill-educated yet complain bitterly for lack of job. Did you read what you posted as the junk letter written by Nzeogwu to Obasanjo?
If you wanted to know why 1. He fought for Biafra despite being from Midwest then, you should have asked Col. Joe Achuzia before he died in 2018. He was the most successful Biafran commander during the war and he is from the same town (Okpanam) as Nzeogwu.
2. He did the coup, you should have asked Col. Nwobosi before he died in 2020. He was the leading commander that captured Akintola in the Coup and he also fought for Biafra.
You see, answers to your problem were there but you ignored it while you were chasing shadows in the name of preserving this abomination of a country called Nigeria. Those of us that got our answers directly from the horses mouths have made up our minds.
The characterization in red is overly heavy-handed. What criteria are used to arrive at such ridiculous conclusion?
You are among the goons which earned Africa the derogatory names. A man can do irrational things when pushed beyond rationality. There is no place where nature decreed that certain people must live together as country. The atrocities were meted to IPOB and people who agitate for self-determination by the silly government of Nigeria. It is foolhardy for any idiot to think the oppressed will remain docile forever. What remains in stock could be worse than you see presently.
SUFFERInSMILIIN: I agree with you if some of your write-up . but the main problem of Nigeria the people are illiterate but believe they are educated. I have seen this with Nigerians in Europe and America they believe they are very educated but when you take them for job experience and then you find out they are illiterate only with massive mouth. If been here in Africa when you put a Nigerian professor or degree holders like professors and doctors when you put them alongside which people which did a A level in other African countries you find out the A level people are performing better
Unfortunately the only thing Nigerians have known how to do his vote for criminals. When you take a trip to America and Europe it is the same thing with Nigeria's voting for criminals in Nigerian community is what will know how to do
I cannot reconcile the words in red. What surrounds illiteracy is inability to read or write which have nothing to do with level of enlightenment.
It is embarrassing to note Nigeria had a head start over Singapore in the race for self-determination and today Singapore is building boats for Nigeria. The damming aspect remains the dumbass fools in Nigeria had the temerity to rejoice.
These dumbass fools can shout and heap cannibalistic atrocities on IPOB and ESN as a distractive measure, the focus remains the actualization of Biafra or Republic of Igboland. Nigeria is not a place for reasonable people with a future.
FreeStuffsNG: Keep telling yourself this lie until you believe it I don't blame you now, there's a social media platform that enables you to hide behind a keyboard and make treasonous remarks because you are bitter for losing out politically. Nigeria is a creation of Nigerians best brains who signed up for it at independence while others opted to be part of Cameroon. If the unity of Nigeria will ever even be renegotiated, just take this to the bank: it will never be at the whims and caprices of people sick and bitter hateful terrorists like IPOB that burnt down Lagos or Boko Haram and iswap terrorists attempting to take portions of Nigeria to declare as their caliphate
It will be difficult for a goon in your class to secure a job. What is it about "Losing out politically"? I have not contested any political seat in Nigeria and had no intention to wallow into the idiocy called democracy in Nigeria. The thought of it sends chills in my nerve. In my neck of the wood, Nigeria is only comparable to the zoo. Did you pass JAMB? I wondered aloud if you did with the bolded about the creation of Nigeria and option for Cameroon. Nigeria must be disintegrated period.
Grandmeister: This man is from my village and the road to his very compound is just....left to your imaginations! Virtually impassable with a vehicle on a rainy day. He doesn't even stay in his house when in abia state. No road no electricity for close to a year! People like him make Buhari look like a saintly administrator I kid you not!
I knew he was what you described in the above post. What the hell does the dude know about "Climate change"?
BafanaBafana: There's something everyone have come to realize about Igbos. Both the professor and the motor park tout, the bishop and the atheist, the intellectual and the dogmatic among them all reason alike. They are bound by their hatred/fear of the north. They all believed Buhari is a clone. They all Believe Donald Trump will send fighter jets to destroy the north and give them Biafra. They love anyone who hates the north, even if the person killed their mother.
Northern region of Nigeria is a piece of crap. The actualization of Biafra or lack thereof does not depend on the magnanimity of the northern region. In 1967, northern region had no chance in hell to face eastern region alone without help from numerous sources. It is same as today.
FreeStuffsNG: If you want to let some unpatriotic folks not to have a good day, just remind them of their futile wait for Nigeria to be balkanized. It's visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that the unity of Nigeria is cast in titanium. You are wasting your time trying to break it.
All the enemies of Nigeria will lose las las. They always lose. God bless Nigeria forever.
For the bolded, I guess by Frederick Lugard. Anything created by man shall be destroyed by man too. Nigeria must be dismembered, period.
mdsne: The former President declared that secession is not the way to go and promised his loyalty to a united Nigeria.
Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has said he will never support calls for secession.
This is as he revealed why he doesn’t believe in and would never support the agitations for the Yoruba Nation.
Obasanjo said that secession is not the way to go and promised his loyalty to a united Nigeria.
The former president argued that more can be achieved by having a united Nigeria than promoting agitations for the break up of the country.
Obasanjo made the submission during a retreat on inclusive security organized by the Global Peace Foundation in collaboration with Vision Africa.
He said: “One thing that we’ve together in common is Nigeria.
“I have never used Yoruba Nation, and I will never, because I believe that my Nigerianess is bigger than my Yorubaness, and neither my Yorubaness or Nigerianess should stand in the way of each other.
“For me, my Nigerianess is very important because I am more than what I should have been as a Nigerian than as a oduduwa republic man, and I believe that should be the case for everyone of us.
“Why should the accident of my place of birth be a hindrance for me as a human being first of all, and for me as a Nigerian?” he questioned.
Does it take a rocket scientist to figure you will prefer misconfigured Nigeria to a well-constructed Yoruba nation? Of course, you became a thief and farmer because of Nigeria. There is no other country in the world which would have tolerated a nation treasury raider like you to enjoy it let alone become a so-called farmer.

This is the time to pay back, to give back to you what you gave us. God will make it possible.
In her response, Mrs. Amaechi thanked Dr. Emmanuel Orgwu and members of BBIGN for the work and support they are giving to the party, APC, not just in Rivers State, but across the states of the federation. Let me thank Emma and other members of the group. You people are really doing great work for APC. I am happy that you are supporting us. We are with you and at the right time, you will hear from us. You are everywhere in this country. I see all your activities in social media. I am happy for you because you are a genuine group with laudable programmes and good intentions. But now, we need to pray hard and relentlessly. This is time for prayer so that God can manifest His purpose in our lives. We are going to collaborate to make sure that our objectives and vision are achieved. We will meet again.
It was a great moment as group photography and mother-child interaction and advice took place.
Mr. Philip Aboje Special Assistant to BBIGN National President on Media. 17/12/2021.
What has bridge building got to do with the moronic green Nigeria or at best, red Nigeria? The entire shenanigan paints a picture of conflict of interest. Anyway, who cares about ethics in the zoo called Nigeria.
Where were these moronic talking heads when the IPOB peeps suffered murder in the hands of police, army and dss for simply protesting for independent homeland? If you do not like what you see. pray they are allowed to form a country independent of the shithole called Nigeria. The worst is yet to unfold.
