God1000:
You have no Idea what you're talking about man.

I'm completely at sea how toxic this platform has become with firebrands making ridiculous comments about my tribe, the hatred is unwarranted and unacceptable, this single post and the negative comments I received will surely change my life regarding so many national issues, I made this thread to educate people, but some unscrupulous persons hijacked it and lunched unprecedented attacks from every angle, we all have our flaws and dark underbellies so people should stop being chilly.

This is the most hate filled thread I've ever come across on this platform and some people deserve to be banned.

This generation of our youth is even worse than the older generation that put us where we are currently. I forgive you all but I won't forget.

Racism and tribalism is the reason why there's so much chaos all over the world today, the same reason for our own civil war, rewanda genocide and the current situation in Ethiopia, all because some delusional people see others as subhumans and small fry.
Are you serious with respect to the bold? In addition, are you new to this forum? Have you ever had the chance to read threads pertaining to either Igbo or Yoruba on this forum? I guess your partiality could be understood but please the bolded is beyond being silly.
Politics › Re: Exclusive : DSS Officer, Samson Enweruzo Unveiled As Killer Of Innocent Igbos by Idiko1: 1:20pm On Nov 28, 2021
GodHatesBigots:
EXCLUSIVE: Department Of State Services’ Officer, Samson Enweruzo Unveiled As Notorious For Forcing False Confessions Out Of IPOB Suspects, Involvement In Illegal Raids, Arrests, Extrajudicial Killings In South-East

Enweruzo studied at Government College, Owerri and the Federal University of Technology, also in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

An operative of Nigeria’s secret police, the Department of State Services (DSS), identified as Samson Enweruzo is behind some of the extrajudicial killings and brutalisation of people in the South-East, in the name of finding Biafran agitators, SaharaReporters has learnt.

Enweruzo, who hails from Imo State, SaharaReporters further learnt, was involved in the invasion of the home of one Chuks Egwuatu and the illegal arrest and torture of four of his (Egwuatu’s) siblings.

SaharaReporters had reported how secret operations suspected to be targeted at eliminating Igbo youths started on Monday, 8th November 2021 when security agents invaded the house of Egwuatu at Asha Street, Topland Amechi Road, Enugu State, by 5 pm with the aim of taking him away secretly for elimination without a trace.

A civil society group, the International Solidarity for Peace and Human Rights Initiative (Intersociety), had drawn attention to the illegal raid in a letter to the Executive Secretary, National Human Rights Commission, dated November 10, 2021.

The group had also sent copies of the letter to the Inspector-General of Police, the Director-General of the DSS, Amnesty International and other organisations, detailing how four siblings of Egwuatu, including a minor, were arrested when the security operatives could not find him.

According to Intersociety, on failing to arrest Egwuatu, the security operatives took away four of his siblings, claiming they were DSS operatives in Enugu and that Egwuatu should report to the agency’s office to secure the release of his siblings.

“Names of the arrested/abducted siblings of Egwuatu still be held by the claimed men of DSS in Enugu include Egwuatu Chukwuebuka (Male) Age: 20, Oruebube Hosanna (Male) Age: 18, Egwuatu Stephen (Male), Age 12, Idara Godwin (Female) Age: 22,” the group had said.

A top source in the DSS has however identified Enweruzo as supporting extrajudicial killings in the South-East and notorious for forcing false confessions out of persons suspected to be members of the pro-Biafra group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) or its militant wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN).

SaharaReporters learnt that Enweruzo studied at Government College, Owerri and the Federal University of Technology, also in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

He is supporting the extrajudicial killing of Igbo youths,” the source said.

“He forces any youth he arrests to accept being a member of ESN, and then he brutalises them. He is currently in Enugu with his team; he came on special duty to the East.

“He is confirmed to be involved in raiding Chuks Egwuatu in Enugu and torturing his siblings.

“He slaughtered tens of youths in Anambra this year, went to Imo State and did same this year. Then he came to Enugu and has killed four youths extra-judicially, tortured the siblings of Egwuatu such that all of them went home with scares on their bodies.”

Intersociety had in its petition signed by its President, Osmond Ugwu demanded the immediate unconditional release of Egwuatu Chukwuebuka, Minor Egwuatu Stephen, Oruebube Hosanna and Miss Idara Godwin.

It had also demanded “adequate monetary compensation” for them, adding that relevant authorities should apologise to them in national newspapers for the violation of their fundamental human rights.

“We call on DSS and Police in Enugu state to ensure that the perpetrators of the acts of invading the house of Mr Egwuatu by 5 am be treated as kidnappers irrespective of the agency they represent and be prosecuted as such,” the petition had also noted.

The above post is a complete fallacy and a failed reverse psychology at its worst form. Every son or daughter who works with law enforcement outfit in Nigeria is now responsible for extra-judiciary killing of Igbo youths. This futile attempt on childish propaganda. Ndigbo had already identified their enemies in Nigeria before now.

I simply requested for the list of 13 military formations in which 11 were Igbo chaps as the previous poster seemed to have the knowledge before making it public. The pictured you posted neither showed military formations nor the commanders as previous poster had postulated.

Ogundipe was never a brave soldier. He enlisted twice into the army. He cunningly left in 1942 when the war was ragging and re-enlisted when the war was over in 1945. No wonder he took refuge in NNS Nigeria on July 29, 1966 and refused to disembark until he sailed to UK.

As much as I hate to sound tribal here, this write up and the bolded explicitly shows that there is not much difference between Igbos and Hausas/Fulani, preferential treatment and nepotism will always backfire sooner or later, Ironsi didn't see the BIG PICTURE in his choice of placements, and it backfired on him.
Are you this gullible? I requested the previous poster to list 11 out 13 military formations commanded by Igbo in Nigerian army before and after 1966 coups.

There were 13 Military formations of Which 11 were headed by Easterners many of them Sandhurst Trained Officers almost all who fled to the East instead of making any attempt to rescue the Kidnapped head of State General Ironsi and his host Col Fajuyi
The one at Abeokuta was Killed and his death was the Trigger for the Northern Counter Coup

gen ogundipe alone was the only one who sent Soldiers to Confront the July 1966 Coup plotters twice

In the First atttempt the Military Cooks,Clerks and Technicians that ogundipe had quickly assembled were Ambushed near the Airport and 30 of them were Killed also killed were 2 European Citizens

At the 2nd attempt gen ogundipe sent gowon to engage with the Coup plotters and get them to surrender but gowon was Captured as a hostage by them and after 2 days they made him their new Leader and head of State

All the Eastern Officers who were battalion Commanders with Troops and Artillery had fled for their lives to the East and Completely abandoned gen ogundipe

So with what exactly did they expect ogundipe to fight with since Ironsi their kinsman had diligently made sure that ogundipe had no fighting Infantry Troop formations under him that he could Command since almost all the Battalions were Commanded by Easterners for reasons best known to Ironsi

The remaining 2 battalions were Commanded by Northerners of which the Commander at Ibadan was a big part of the Coup and Shuwa in far away Kano was already dealing with the Mutiny in Kano
It is always a welcome idea for dingbats to make fool of themselves in public. I would love the poster of the above crap to list the 13 military formations in Nigeria and the 11 units commanded by Igbo officers after the July 29, 1966 countercoup. Any soldier who was not involved in a coup has very little chance of survival as next target could be him/her. There was no Igbo commander of unit who was left untargeted by the mutineers of July 29, 1966.

In the end, no matter who was going about it the right or wrong way, Kanu and Igboho suffered the same fate from a federal government that does not care about the rule of law. The houses of both men were invaded, people were killed and both men fled the country

But look at Nnamdi Kanu's people rallying round him, holding international protests for his release, besieging the court premises when he comes, going as far ask asking the President to release him.

Where are Igbohos people today? No where to be found

They said Kanu was spreading hate, insulting people and inciting violence

Ok, what support did they show Igboho who did none of those things?

I understand your bigoted angle but we don’t have to see everything as ethnic war. Ogundipe was not a part of the successful July counter coup and couldn’t have taken over. He sent Gowon to Ikeja immediately after the coup to negotiate with the mutineers led by Murtala but Gowon became a turncoat on the way and negotiated power for himself. So, what do you expect him to do? Fight when there is no single soldier who is ready to fight for him? Looking back now, I think things would have taken a different dimension if the original coupist of 15tb January, 1966 had formed the government instead of the reactionary government of Ironsi. Nzeogwu, Ifeajuna, Ademoyega etc were better educated and prepared for government. Maybe we would have avoided the bloody counter coup and the bloodier civil war that we are yet to recover from.
It is either you do not know the denotation of gross or incompetency or both. Aguiyi Ironsi managed the affairs of international military outfit in a faraway country and never was adjudged as incompetent by superiors. Ironsi was mere naive as most dumbass Nigerians seem to appear today.
