Ronaldo has played more matches than Messi and it took Messi less games to reach the 700 goal mark....

Lol, someone Hawking gala cannot be typing right now with a laptop and engaged in online discuss. Do not get confused, Udom is working but not hard enough. he should amongst other things invest more in human capacity so that people like you with intellectual myopia can have their brains cleared of mental blindness which in result will allow for clearer analysis of your prevailing circumstancial nothingness. At that point you will begin to appreciate the critical assessment made of your pitiable delusions.
I don't get you bro. so he should stop Constructing roads or building flyovers and instead spend the money on creating companies or investing in the people.
when he does that finish, what will those people use to go to work or take their goods to sale?
where is the access roads companies trucks will ply?
If the Lagos State govt have invested more money on road construction, today Lagos won't be jam packed. there won't be to much traffic daily.
You talked about Airport and I ask, how will investors with billion dollars investments come into the state? through the dead trap we called Federal roads?

what you might say and I might agree is the hotels but even those would over the years before useful to the state
Akwa Ibom is exactly where it needs to be and it going to where it will be. in the league of the Cape Town, Kigali, Dubai etc.

Good roads surrounded with shanties and slum in uyo. Ak need to focus on human capital development and education. Beautiful roads only used by keke and okada.
Sorry should I show you pictures of Dubai 30 years ago and pictures of Lagos too?
Dubai didn't have big buildings or sky scrappers but they built their roads knowing that it will come....Lagos had all that but now compare the both of them....Dubai is a million miles out of the league of Lagos, or Onitsha or any of your run down towns.
You might not see big buildings there now but 10 years from now you will see them springup all over the city while your own states continues to play second fiddle

See this AKWAIBOM illiterate calling someone an illiterate. What's the educational ranking of AKWAIBOM state?

Now back to our discourse. You are referring at AKWAIBOM as a state. I am referring to AKWAIBOM people. They are very poor people despite the huge oil wealth of AKWAIBOM state. Most AKWAIBOM people do the worst form jobs one can imagine. They live in squalor. Most of them in PH live in shanties. You hardly see an AKWAIBOM person living in a good house.

Most of them in Lagos, do house help, okada, truck pusher etc, those are legit jobs but not suitable for a state that waste money building useless airport terminals, FLYOVERS, stadia, hotels etc, because most AKWAIBOM cannot even afford to enjoy all those things.

AKWAIBOM state should focus on human capital development and not continue to build those stuff that an average AKWAIBOM indigene cannot even afford.
Mr pls tell us, if you are made Governor of Akwa Ibom today, What will you do to lift the people out of Poverty?
So you mean the government should build roads or airport that will aid travel?

Where is the insult. Why can't you accept the truth. Most batchers and slums in economic cities across Nigeria are populated by Akwa Ibomites. Are you so pained by the truth?? if yes, do something about it. The way to go is to make your leaders responsible as they are in charge of your Commonwealth.
Sorry what state are you from? if you say Lagos, I will have you know they're poor people, very poor people in Lagos who are Yorubas and lagosians. We can use Makoko as an example.
What have you done about it?....We are not comparing our state here, we are simply showing what our state is doing with his resources. Yes we can do more but this is a Right foundation.
We are holding our leaders accountable cause I don't see which leader you will bring up in Nigeria that Udom wouldn't beat them hands down. Is it Sanwo olu? to me he is already a failure.
We are making our leaders responsible and that's why every Governor that comes in does extremely well for the People.

it took Rwanda 30 years to be able to be what they are. their leaders weren't saint, they stole and still do but the difference is that unlike Nigeria's, they did better than they predecessors.
Today look at Rwanda and compare it to your slum called Lagos that is the richest State in Africa and yet can't be compare to a rundown town of South Africa.

I was about saying this. Aside those FLYOVERS, I think Uyo is still largely a slum, because even beside those roads and FLYOVERS you will continue to see slum settlements everywhere in the state. AKWAIBOM people outside of their state are not different, they live in batches, shanties etc.

95% of AKWAIBOM people are so poor despite the huge oil revenue that accrues to the state.

AKWAIBOM state government should prioritise human capital development and education. Building multiple airport terminals, FLYOVER, bridge, stadia etc, can never be useful to an average AKWAIBOM indigene because most of them are still very poor and cannot even afford air ticket.
But are these industries not part of human development? You guys are not criticising Constructively. Yes, akwa Ibom citizens might be poor but recent stats from the NBS shows we are doing better.
Recently we were ranked in the top 5 state with better human development.
What does that tell you?

See, you might see nothing good In building those flyovers or roads but 10 years and 20 years from now, People will be Thankful that was built.
If Lagos had built flyovers and good roads many years ago, they won't be traffic jams everywhere making lives miserable for it populace.

Yes, I agree Akwa ibom Citizens are Poor but I ask you, if you if you re made Governor if Akwa ibom today, what will you do to lift them out of Poverty?
Please don't bring industries or good roads here cause you just criticized it now. tell me what you will do to lift them up that Mr Udom isn't doing already.

You know the Hypocrisy of you Yorubas and Igbos stinks to the high heavens......7 years ago I was a Visitor here and I constantly see Akwa ibomites showcase the Good roads in our state but you all shouter that road is not every thing, that Akwa ibomites are poor and are houseboys/girls outside d state.
You all said Akwa Ibom should concentrate on building Factories and industries and wooing investors.
Now Udom have come in and he's doing exactly that but you are singing a new song now and saying that's not what he should do.

You know one thing am sure of today, is that in years to come all this projects including the Airport , Stadiums, hotels, Roads will set akwa Ibom apart from the rest state.

You know one thing have learnt? "if every body is against you, it means you are doing something right...keep on it, and you will be better off.

Rwanda, and the rest they started like this, with good roads and impressive airports and others things, many shouted and said, "Rwandans are poor and they should stop building roads" but smart investors saw those roads as investments, they saw that when they invest in this country, they can easily move about. So they came in and invest billion of dollars in tourism, industries etc . and today Nigerians are running to Rwanda. Recently it was ranked the cleanest and finest city in Africa, Kigali.

To me, Udom should keep building roads, Quality roads. the investments will come and people will be better off in the state.

If you check where Akwa Ibom was in 1999 and where we are now, you will see that this roads etc have been of great help to us.
Today we have attracted many investors and are listed as investors favorite state after Lagos.
If we keep on, 30 years from now we might just be another Rwanda that is better than every state in Nigeria including the FCT.
We are not going to be another Lagos, God forbid. We will rather be another Kigali growing out of the ashes of underdevelopment!

The effects of the past visionless & selfish leaders...so many things are untapped in that state... people, culture, soil, roads, weather, agriculture, etc... They just sit & wait for oil revenue for their pockets
But at least we can't say we have had it bad. we are using that oil revenues to improve our State. 12 years ago we were just a backwater state but today we have the highest foreign Investments after Lagos..do check.
Today we are in the top 3 most beautiful states in Nigeria.
we have an international airport built and manage by the state and an airline
We have a fantastic and beautiful stadium.
We are building many industries to absorb our unemployed youths.
Our people are known for their cleaniness and we have the best roads In the country.
recently Uyo was ranked as the neatest city in Nigeria by both Foreign and Nigeria organizations.

What I'm saying in essence is that, Yes our leaders might have stolen but still they did and are still doing well and will continue to do well by improving the state than they met it.
We aren't there yet but I can say we are on the right lane...So stop hating and appreciate the state for once.

Kid yourself not, Lagos will continue to remain the best place to invest, cos everyone minds their business. It's not called the centre of excellence for nothing.

Come, invest & prosper.

Aak your fellow Igbo brethren, they'll tell you why they flock to Lagos like refugees crossing the Libyan sea to Europe.

With all those things you mentioned, if the place go make sense for biz, you won't need to be doing all these advert, investors go don flood the place.

Is it that you lack sense or what?
Yes Lagos has more investments but recent release stats shows after Lagos, Akwa ibom have seen much more investments than any state in Nigeria. Besides we aren't competing we Lagos and neither are we igbos. we are peaceful people who love our state and it Potentials. Please stop your Tribalism and mumuness abeg.
Don't you know the more Lagos get the more investors, the more other Nigerians flock there and the more it become Congested that you and those investors will hate it.

Thats the most extreme form of foolishness I have seen. Then they say what do u want to restructure u say u want resource control when oil and gas u are not a major producer.

Sea port u no get, u and the north is in the same situation
Have been reading all your comments and I confess you are very dumb.
Imagine!
See the East most not have oil or whatsoever to be developed.
They have Gas if you don't know. infact their Region houses the highest gas reserve in Nigeria.
if you are igbo and against secession I can say you are against that because you live in the north and have properties there and so scare of loosing them.

Luxembourg and Japan have no drop of oil or any Natural resources but see where they are? there're many countries in the world that are doing great without any Natural resources
Iceland is smaller than the east 30times and yet they are more developed.
