Government should be more interested in production and not consumption. I wish his Excellency can merge Green Chamber with Red Chamber to save cost of governance. Evil cabals will definitely fight against that. Reducing cost of governance should be a holistic one. Nigeria will be great again. |

This pictures were shared by officers cadet of Nigeria Army. According to the colleagues , they said as i quote: Lt Col AH ALI after surviving years in the north east, only to be killed by people he was assigned to protect. If he had wanted his troops to demolish or destroy the community, it won’t take them time. Because it’s very easy to destroy. Instead he chosed to follow diplomatically. But the community saw it as a sign of weakness.https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid026AERW3gmzu6DeZuy2fyUAgKqBUPx7SaAg5pVucUX6Mj3SVbGf1rA365z1DRj3EzFl&id=100053314062786&mibextid=Nif5oz

High time government start arresting all this guys. Some Nigerians are naturally wicked. People are just increasing prices of things anyhow without regulation. Serious sanction should be imposed on any business man or woman causing more hardship to the citizens |

Great icon . Bitterness is part of any government. I could remember how angry Nigerians were during OBJ 3rd term bid. Jonathan too ( GEJ) Buhari joined Now Tinubu. Lesson. No matter any individual in power, people must complain. Our prayer should be, let government policy reduce 50% of citizens problems. Just imagine government crediting people with less than 500k in account with sum of 1 million naira ( to do business) out of 300 millions total population. |
Introducing ourselves is something we do in our everyday life in Gatherings, Meetings, or in Classroom. We usually introduce ourselves by saying: “My name is Tochukwu”, “I am Tochukwu”, “Hello everyone, I’m Tochukwu”, “Hey guys, I am Tochukwu” or “My name’s Tochukwu”. The duality of English language has however resulted into controversy in the appropriate manner we should introduce ourselves. While some are of the opinion that the appropriate and grammatically correct manner of introducing yourself is saying “My name is Tochukwu Anayo”, some others suggest that the appropriate way of introducing yourself is saying “My names are Tochukwu Anayo-Enechukwu” in order to show plurality of your name. These conflicting opinion is the reason for writing this article which examines whether ‘My name is’ or ‘My names are’ is the correct form of introducing yourself. cause to reveal his dual identity, the rare plurality will apply and the writer may introduce himself by saying: My names are Anayo Tochukwu and Charles Lee (pseudonym name). The similarity with the two aforementioned exceptions is its resemblance of plurality and the use of the conjunction ‘and’ which we cannot normally use while introducing ourselves. Thus, these exceptions come in handy in very special circumstance and can never fall under the conventional form of introducing your name. Hence, saying “My names are” is wrong, while saying “My name is” is the correct way of introducing your name. The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), located in Ile-Ife, Osun State, is reeling from a devastating loss following the tragic death of Mr. Olabode Olawuyi, a Veterinary Technologist who served as the caretaker of the Zoological garden for over a decade. According to a press release issued by the University’s Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Olarewaju, the unfortunate incident occurred on Monday, 19th February, 2024. Mr. Olawuyi was attacked by a 9-year-old male lion while he was carrying out his duties of feeding the animals within their enclosure at the Zoological garden. Despite the valiant efforts of other staff members present at the scene, the attack proved fatal, resulting in severe injuries to Mr. Olawuyi. Upon receiving the distressing news, the University’s management, led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Adebayo Simeon BAMIRE, immediately halted ongoing activities to assess the situation firsthand. In response to the incident, the aggressive lion responsible for the attack has been euthanized by the authorities. Mr. Olawuyi had been responsible for the care of the lions since their birth on campus approximately nine years ago, making the tragic circumstances of his death even more poignant. In a show of support, the University management has dispatched a delegation to extend condolences to the deceased’s widow and children, urging them to find solace in faith during this challenging time. Meanwhile, Vice-Chancellor Professor Adebayo Simeon BAMIRE has ordered a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, aiming to determine both its immediate and underlying causes. As the OAU community mourns the loss of Mr. Olabode Olawuyi, they collectively pray for his soul to rest in eternal peace. Despite all medical efforts, as confirmed by the Acting Director of the University Health and Medical Centre, Dr. Tirimisiyu Olatunji, Mr. Olawuyi succumbed to his injuries. https://politicsnigeria.com/breaking-tears-as-lion-kills-oau-veterinary-staff-olabode-olawuyi-photo/
