How can all major offices be stationed in the North with less than 15% educated people

Talk of oil well, if North doesn't occupy 95% Nigeria is never good.

SportsFact Check: Victor Osimhen’s Dope Test By Soccernet.ng by ify2016(op): 5:22am On Jan 29, 2024
Fact Check: Victor Osimhen’s dope test happened after Guinea-Bissau match, not Cameroon

Victor Osimhen played a significant role for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 clash against Cameroon

Reports circulating on various social media platforms indicate that Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, has undergone a random dope test conducted by the anti-doping department, as reported by Soccernet.ng.

While initial information had been deemed partially accurate, Soccernet.ng can exclusively confirm that the Nigerian international underwent the test following the match against Guinea-Bissau, not Cameroon.

In addition, FC Nantes forward Simon Moses, the 2023 Confederation of African Football Best Player Of The Year, and William Troost-Ekong, have also been subjected to dope tests.

It’s worth noting that such random tests are standard procedures, typically conducted on players whose enhanced energy levels may raise suspicions of substance use.

During the clash against Cameroon, Osimhen, formerly with LOSC Lille, played a pivotal role, posing a constant threat to the Indomitable Lions’ defense and providing an assist to Ademola Lookman for Nigeria’s first goal in that match.

Contrary to rumours, Soccernet.ng confirms that Osimhen’s dope test occurred after the 1-0 victory against Guinea-Bissau.

Additionally, sources reveal that two Cameroonian players also underwent similar tests, noting that Osimhen is not the sole player involved in this tournament.

Looking ahead, the 2013 AFCON champions are set to face Angola in the quarterfinals of the 2023 AFCON tournament, aiming for a positive outcome to secure their spot in the semi-finals

FamilyMan Weeps As DNA Reveals He’s Not Biological Father Of Four Children by ify2016(op): 11:59am On Nov 06, 2023
A 44-year-old man, Mr Olanrewaju Kolawole, wept profusely after DNA test results revealed that none of his four children was his biological child.

This was revealed according to a viral video after he was hit by the reality of the results that the children were not his.

The man, an indigene of Ikire in Osun State, and his wife, Mrs Tella Toyin, shared four kids together, namely Ayomide, 16, Sarah, 12, and two other children aged 8 and 5 years, respectively.

However, the case of paternity fraud was revealed when Kolawole and Toyin appeared on the popular radio show; ‘Kokoro Alate’, on Agidigbo FM, Ibadan, anchored by Oriyomi Hamzat.

Following the first DNA test of the first child, which revealed that the child did not belong to him, the man claimed to have subsequently carried out tests on the three other children, and all returned negative results.

He said, in part, “I want Nigerians to come to my rescue because I must not suffer this in vain. I married Toyin in 2007 and gave birth to four children. She gave birth to four children, but none of them belongs to me after findings from a DNA test.”

Asked why he decided to conduct the test in the first place, he said he made the decision to carry out the tests on his children after observing some promiscuous moves from his wife.

The DNA test was conducted at the DDC DNA Diagnostic Center in Osogbo.

However, reacting to the development, Mrs. Tella Toyin disagreed with the results, saying that she was not there when they took the sample and did not know which samples were taken.

She said, “I don’t accept the result. I don’t accept it because I was not there when they took samples, and I don’t know which sample they took, so I don’t accept it. I can’t accept it because I know how I conceived those children.”

The couple got married in 2007 and are members of the same church in the Ikoyi area of Osun State.

https://storage.ko-fi.com/cdn/useruploads/display/a7921f26-d6ef-4713-845f-97855581bac8_12.gif

....I need more details.
Road is usually slippery after downpour. A truck on high speed once apply sudden brake, the rear tyres tend to draw and this could be disastrous to any other road users.

For instance, another accident almost occured right in front my car after giving space to a speeding truck who suddenly applied brake on a slippery road at New Garage before Berger. You need to see how the 6 rear tyres were moving in one side of the road while the front of the tanker was heading to another side ,almost causing multiple accident this late evening.

So, the fall could be as a result of emergency brake that was applied on slippery road caused by rain.

Saddest thing was when I passed the location of the incidence at Magboro bridge very close to MFM, I was shocked to see Nigerians tapping from the diesel that's littered on the road.

Some Nigerians take excessive risk.

Good development but government strength should be focused more on SMEs, students, private company's staff and less privileged in the society. How many of those government staff voted during the election? It's like rubbing Peter to pay Paul.

There should be more accommodating space for equity and fairness by the government.

It's well .

Best thing to do in that situation is, Governor and MC should distribute voucher for each driver to buy fuel at subsidized rate in a specified filling station. This is more convincing in order to help the bus owners by complying to the directive and reduce fare in favour of the masses.
Though,

BRT actually reduced bus fare.
