Not confirmation to use his account per say, you need a "sponsors letter" and a copy of your dad's data page.
He has to state your relationship with you( he's your biological dad), where he works, why he wants to sponsor the trip and with how much.

On the bank statement part, I just read above that only students can use a sponsors bank statement and since I'm not a student. I just finished my masters in the uk last year and I'm yet to get a job. Do I print out my own bank statement and submit alongside my dad's. Please note that there's just about 50k in my account.

Your situation is a bit different cos:
You just returned from UK on a student visa which I believe you didn't overstay .

You are still unemployed and stated so in your application.

Not same scenario as the other person.

If you were given a 5 days time line, you're likely not gonna get the visa. Is this your First visa/real travel( exclude Ghana and co)?

You are likely gonna be denied unless you are a STUDENT or unemployed , you are expected to submit a bank statement in your name alongside with a sponsors own if you must use a sponsor.

Statement printed on 23rd February cannot fly for an application to be submitted after 03 March ie 10 working days after print date.

She was data collector at secretarial department.
She works with Mrs Fadairo( Mrs Fadairo does not exist in the school's Bursary Dept)
Mr Yussuf is the HOD. (HOD IS Mrs Awoyemi)
Mrs Awoyemi is her partner( HOD partner with non-academic staff, over what?
She works in Bursary dept. etc

I called and spoke to the "Mrs A" who she claimed to be.

1. The woman is not a widow. She was even at work when i called.
2. I told the woman what happened and trust me, the woman heaped millions of generational curses on the OP who is obviously Muritala Kehinde .
Heavy conc. Yoruba Epe. Even Mr Yussuf joined in the cursefest.

2 . Her real name is not Muritala Kehinde but something else which i'll call " Mrs A".

3. She works at Bursary dept.

4. Mr Yussuf is one of her boss, Mrs Awoyemi used to be the HOD but not anymore( quoted verbatim)

5. Mrs Muritala Kehinde came to visit her, saw her poor living conditions and advised her to go seek for help online.

6. She does not want to put her real names ie Mrs A online because she THINKS she might be sacked by her employers if they see it. Huh

I was in touch with the school admin and they do not know any Mrs Olubunmi Fadairo nor you ie Mrs Muritala Kehinde. I was also told there is nothing like secretarial department nor owning any staff over 3 months salary BUT your claims can be verified if you :

Provide the specific department you claim to work with/for.

Provide the name of Mrs Fadairo's HOD who will in turn be able to know who your boss, Mrs Fadairo is.


I have a feeling i already know where this would end but I'm giving you benefit of doubt to provide answers to the questions above.
