No emotions whatsoever if those killed where actually Igbos.
Back to topic,God knows the best and he would surely arresst the brains behind this oneday, someday. My sympathies to the relatives, dependants especially of the dead.

Have GEJ said "Amen" to the prayers going on @ the state house? This might be a form of punishment for that his 'amenless prayer' sin,who knows.

coogar: never knew you were once a fan of ménage à trois
LOL.
The spirit controlling a single care free girlie is so much different from the one dwelling with a married woman.
Then i was like, why sulk, cry and lament when u can as well join, have all the fun then "repent, confess and forgive" each other ?
Yeye thoughts.

The hubby messed up big time.No regard or respect for the home, their bed.Of all the hotels, motels and places to bring a hoe,its their VERY bedroom he chose huh
What advise does she need?Make she just siddon jejely go lick her wounds. Are there kids involved? Is the man genuienly repentant? Can she forgive and forget wholly?its her call, she gets to make all the decision and live with it;good or bad.

When i was younger and single,i used to think that the day i'd catch my husband with another woman,i would just peel off my clothes and join the fun, sweet 3somes . . .LOL.
My views have long changed.

youngies: I guess it is safe now to conclude that our inability to correctly translate "I miss you" in Igbo may mean that Ndi Igbos are not in the habit of missing anybody. We simply move on. undecided

Jenny,Yeah right. When one brings home his/her suitor and the parents start asking where u work, who ur parents are, most folks assume they are being nosey or sizing up the man but we know they ask so they can call a family friend,a friend of a friend(theres always a network) to confirm your story and get hold of ur professional and family history.Amu oke kwa?Oke e nwere amu at all?LOL
@OP,I might be wrong but i think giving him money is enabling him.He has a degree thankfully,he should go and work and start now to be responsible. You guys can assist in the job placement sha but raw cash?i think its unwise.
On the bright side,ur lil' cuz enjoyed oh! 1 month of constant kpekusing from a man whose only job was to eat, sleep and fire on.Otu Ocha.

Like seriously?
People just wake up and marry strangers huh No background checks, not even one visit @ the so-called office/company etc ? You guys should expect more revelations and surprises as the marriage advances so y'all better put on your shock absorbers and sit tight. The guy might have a family somewhere,No? lol

OP,before your "reserved" family set out to raise money for this guy,it would be nice if you guys dig deep to know who he really is.You guys might just be raising his visa/ticket money, his kids school fees or his real wife's biz. capital.
Btw,is it that he NEVER worked @ shell, not even as a gateman or he DID worked there at a point in his life but got laid off during or just after the courtship/wedding huh

@Topic,I think it becomes sensational and "news" because the footballers themseleves claim to be or are known as Christians/muslims and therefore should not consult 'black gods' for favors. You can't be white by dawn and black by dusk.If they are known all over as faithful devouts of ATR's or Animism, this wont raise no dust.

Culture › Re: Nigerian Mentality by ifyalways(f): 3:29am On May 24, 2012
@physics, that applies only to "picking money by the road side" lol
Eg, you are going down your street and you happen to see a 1000N note on the ground which obviously slipped from someones purse. The average Nigerian believes the money is a set trap by money ritualists and picking it would either turn you to an inante object (yam, goat) or transfers your good fortunes to the person that dropped the money. Now to deactivate either of the aforementioned jujus/ effects, urinating on the cash before picking it is necessary. Lolz
