Those were the fun days,we were all glued to our tubes with the Ibegbulam sisters and leonard keeping us yearning for more.

Mazi Onah was anchoring(with another lady) a family programme called "Nkem".Do u still feel me Dubem?lol

omosexy1: Rich and Handsome indeed! Please don't allow me to say personal things here. People come to nairaland with fantasies and false dreams. I would say no further. It is true that the poster is married, but please don't take the words of ifyalways.
Unless you are one of'em kids running around here(I hope not),Personal things remains personal.
May we all find happiness.Amin

Moremi i hope you'd first take your own words and mind your own business. Why would u or anyone take my words here? Are u so into nld that everything typed here means alot to you?Have u seen Uju here to affirm my claims here or otherwise?what made u conclude i know Uju or her marital status in real life? This is how the gossip mills start;folks pick on the meaningless things posted on nld and start having nightmares.Dude please,go pick another playground.

Come to think of it,did the lady know 'pre-birth' that the child was in that condition(deformed) huh
If yes, then she's got my respect. Not sure what my decision would be if faced with such.Awurade bompai.
Family › Re: Do You Think The Woman Should Have Aborted This Baby? by ifyalways(f): 4:31pm On May 14, 2012
Too scared to watch the video but whatever it was,no one else, not even a husband has the express right to think, not to mention "decide" fora woman what to do or not do with a child she bore,IMO.

@Omosexy,whats wrong with her location and who says her NLD percieved location is same as her real life abode ?

Well to all her fans and at the risk of repeating myself,OP is very happily married to her rich, handsome prince, they've sealed their vows and kpekus with babies, their love growing unshaking each day and she is STAYING married for good. Can we all NOW move to another thread or y'all wanna know the "kpekus position and style" that got the man hooked ? kor-bra oh.
Family › Re: Will You Leave Anything For Your Kids After Dying? by ifyalways(f): 10:44am On May 13, 2012
No,I would leave all for the OP.You single out a negative case and want to form a theory based on that?Funny.I assume you haven't seen people who worked hard to get it all without parental help then lost it all cos they 'lost it' along the way.

My kids are getting it all(love, attention,my small change and debts, lol) now that im alive and would get more of my "all" when im no more.

I agree with all you've said Pagan9ja.I only had a problem with Abouzaid cos he could have put his points across nicely without spicing it up with dishonest theories.
To be very honest,Onicha people are one of most liberal Igbos when it comes to inter-tribal/racial marriages. The most they look out for is "educational level/professional status" (they are so into lawyers, doctors, accountants and blue collar jobs generally) and once that ticks, you are almost good to go.OP's man possibly cooked up this excuse to get away from her becausemarriage was definitely not in his plans for her.

Culture › Re: African Culture, Nigeria -my View by ifyalways(f): 9:17am On May 13, 2012
Was there actually a time that Naija was the 'giant of Africa' ? Giants in which aspects btw? Methinks that Phrase exists and was coined out of our imaginations.
I could be wrong though, birthed in the mid 8's,perhaps i missed out on the golden and glorious 'giant of Africa' days.lol

Oh,its sunday,have fun!
Culture › Re: Whats The Difference Between Warri Pidgin And The Standard Nigerian Pidgin by ifyalways(f): 8:48am On May 13, 2012
IMO,Warri is both the king and father of pidgin language.Theirs is unique because they come up with funny and ridiculous slangs each day unlike other places, permit me to add that other towns sometimes wait for Warfians to coin out new slangs so they'd borrow and use.

English;Mind your business.
Lagos:Face front jor.
Warri:Cane your line

Hehehe.Sam did you get the chicken legs too?We call it 'walking-talking'(chicken head and legs) and that is my portion/birthright for every fowl slaughtered in our house.

@Topic,i share same memories.Mom would give us some miserable tea and bread for church and reserve the rice and stew till after service.Wonder whythey do so?guess its one of the things that make sunday rice "special".lol

^All he said aint true.
First off,I know quite a handful of Onicha indigenes that married foreign ladies.
I also know lots of divorcees in Onicha, indigenes too.
Lastly and not mentioning names,I also know lots of Onicha indigenes that married and returned home with their foreign wives/husbands and kids.
Culture › Re: Any Tribe In 9JA Practice Polyandry??? by ifyalways(f): 1:14am On May 12, 2012
Brother dont worry yourself. I fount out the Polyanders of Nigeria. grin

It is the Irigwe Peoples of Jos Plateau. Co-husband relationships enjoyed by the traditional Irigwe system of secondary marriage helped in former days to keep the tribe's twenty-five ritual units at peace with one another. In 1968 both the traditionalist "pagan" majority and the change oriented Christian minority on the Irigwe Tribal Council voted to outlaw all future secondary marriages, after the recent establishment of a Tribal Administration.
The Irigwe, numbering around 17,000, are the third largest of several dozen "plateau pagan" tribes on the Jos Plateau in Benue-Plateau State, Nigeria. Situated on the western edge of the Plateau around 20 miles west of the towns of Jos and Bukuru, the lrigwe have their own language and social traditions which clearly distinguish them from the other plateau tribes. They are currently renowned all over the Plateau, indeed all over Nigeria, as skilled dancers.
Interesting.Do Irigwes still exist in present day Plateau?
Swinging comes close.

Commuting that Akute horrible road daily is enough reason for anyone to be mad,add that to a jobless, pennyless, lazy husband huh You too try, woman!
Im curious though, how do u manage to keep a homefront ie feed, shelter, educate, transport yourself and your family all these years?

I honestly dont know if i would be able to go allllllll the way like u've done for 8 years but my 2 cents is this;Give your husband ultimatum and mean it by not "enabling" his lazy bones,he has to go out and look for something, anything that would be bringing in money.Don't you have parents or brothers?Invite your and his immediate family and tell them what you've been bearing so they too can talk to him and push his bones to go out.If you've been giving him cash, stop already.Tell your landlord to ask him directly for all fees for the house and stop paying(unless when it comes to eviction),who knows the insults from outsiders might wake him up.

Btw,why do u want to leave now?Which can/cant you bear anymore?A cheat,a lazy irresponsible man or both . . .just asking cos theres a probability that he wont stop cheating even when he gets a job.
Family › Re: Is Being Married And Having Kids A Stumbling Block To One's Dreams And Goals. by ifyalways(f): 4:33pm On May 11, 2012
First off and going with my own personal experience, getting married, having kids and staying married is the best thing to have happened to me.

@OP,Are u in lagos? There is a free women acquisation center @ Lekki, somewhere btw lekki and femi okunnu estates.Again, you can start up whatever u want to do from home, talk to neighbours, church friends, other women during school runs.Do u know how to make beads?with pearls and stones?Beadmaking is another big but unpopular means of making decent income for stay-at-home moms.

For me,the best gifts i desire and demand of him are :
He should be the best dad to our kids.Love, correct and nurture them.
Be the best husband i can ever dream of.Give me and only me his heart, body, soul and wallet.
Simply put, give me a happy home, share all my youth with me and grow old with me too.
