Mods why were my, jenny and ujujoan's posts hidden? Did we curse anyone?since when did it become a crime to type in any language other than English in between threads?I hope I won't have to call your itchy fingers to attention to threads were people converse in between replies in languages other than English even without cursing anyone or spamming the thread. @jenny, yes. Uju had Nwa nwanyi. She replied you herself last night but her response is "hidden" |
maclatunji: The first thing that your friend needs to fight for is information. She needs to know what is wrong with her husband. If he refuses to give her the information, then she must lay it bare before him: She married with the hope of having a fulfilled life with him and havingher own children to nurture and cater for. She should let him know that his secrecy is not helping her and she wants a clean break to give her life proper focus.Co signed. |
@OP,what approach did you use and how is it going?Updates please. |
Imo,we have just 3 female musicians, the rest are noise makers.LOL Asa Nneka Lara George. |
Grant not donation. Btw,where is all these monies coming from?Strange things happen in Nigeria. This is no news kpa kpa. |
@Topic,Onila of nairaland. |
ayolinger: Does force marriage still exist; what are the implications?Which ones be forced marriage?Nowadays abi when? Do you mean like Annie agreeing to marry 2face or the 15 year old kano bride that filled for divorce from his 30ish husband because he couldn't provide cash to spend no more? @OP,you'd have to explain to me what a forced marriage really is. |
If it's possible, someone should block this blackbeery torch for me. S/No 355466047358118 PIN - 26B355BD na boys snatch am from my hand.
Thats my pin up there.Bluetooth take ya time.lolz |
Your friend is pathetic, what or why exactly did his "revelation" do for him or you? What a foooolish home wrecker.which type of friend would even accept and keep a married pals wife in his home for weeks when she was not running from domestic violence ![]() OP,for all u know, this might not be true. You know the woman you married but if you have doubts then casually talk about it with her. With firends like this who needs any enemy? |
Interesting piece. Sad part is that in reality, such good men don't exist anymore. With folks like born2fork,the novice runs girl would end up with a well packaged "Osho free" |
Rofl @ waste of toothpaste. Don't know if its right or wrong but i brush before or after depending on the side of bed i wake from.Days that i make BF,i brush before stepping into the kitchen, days that i get BF in bed courtesy of oga,i brush after BF.No biggie really,as long as u brush at night. |
@OP,what is the problem cos im not seeing any ![]() My advise for you is simple:never marry anyone out of pity.If deep down you can't see past/deal with the disability then walk now.Don't let guilt tie you down and don't miss out on a beautiful package from God cos of a slight physical imperfection. |
Hmmn This is no good news. |
Very unfortunate. Why did the bus driver continue the journey? Hope the parents of the girls take them to good hospitals for std tests and morning after pills. Truth be told, some of us parents needs to give chasing money a break already.I bet if it were a biz partner coming in,some of the parents would have left their "busy lives" and gone to lagos to "meet and greet" them. Shyt happens though, life aint fair. |
^i wanted to ask that. Lol |
Oh, he's from onitsha. I don't know the purpose or what spilling the town would do for your case though? I'm partly onitsha and can list the number of people I know that are married to foreign women in a flash. The most important question is "what is your man saying or doing"? Is it possible he is using his family as an excuse to get away from you? |
What is the origin of "okija" ? Why or how did the slang "Anam ewu" originate? |
@OP, what is your man's position?what is he saying or planning on doing? Facts are: You cannot force anyone to love or accept you. Your man if he truely wants to marry you, keyword is marry not love, would stand up for you. Nobody is disowning anyone. Hello 2012. None of us strangers can do much for you, call your man and ask him his plans for this relationship. If he says he's confused bla bla then maybe its time to take a walk. Sometimes dear, love is not just enough. Tough luck, life aint fair. . . |
Nri, I don't know the origin of that name. I only heard it @ onitsha. Its the surname of one of our family friends and I see myself always wondering what it means. @odumchi, so you are an mgbeke?first class?lol, ndi Aro sabi give person names oh. I am not ready to spill on that my funny name. I can just see the look of hate my future daughters in law would give me when I would bless them with that name. Lol @ odumchi and mgby name. Haha. |
I don't think one can change a serial cheat. The options are to walk away or stay and turn a blind eye. |
Loosen up man, what I typed up there have absolutely nothing to do with the topic. Don't even know what the thread is all about, just a friendly hello to a forumite that went awol. Sorry about your mispelt username, and for involving your username. Don't know where or when I boasted I was in a perfect marriage, what could have suggested that in my reply ![]() |
What we do in my house is this;simple procedures and check ups is just me and spouse but anything that would mean or lead to "spending a night " at the hospital, we tell my mom and Pil. Works fine for us so far. |
Hey,Johndoe Mr Internet Nigerians.I've missed you here, was just asking after you and Harakiri today.Richvcunt is still around and holding down the torch, obviously. Glad to have around. |

My juju says the 2 guests are Johndoe and harakiri.lol Seriously whatever happened to those two? They ran away from this section. loving this new NL. @Topic,Good to vent sometimes. We've rightfully done so and i hope we are moving on now. nzenze2: we were recruited the same day.found out we were from the same state and have been..we have been friends since then..like 2yrs now..moreover she was single then..she got married last year and we have maintained that friendship.Ngwanu, take your evidence and look for 2 or 3 married and matured people in your place of work and explain your predicament to them. If they buy this story and agree on helping you approach the man,you stand a chance of getting some part of your money back "someday".The most important thing is "who and how the man is approached",it would determine to some extent, his reaction and reply.Wrong approach and you fit end up in cell.LOL Goodluck. |
For your sanity, begin now to forget that money. How in Gods green earth do you borrow money to a married woman without a neutral 3rd party as a witness? Question for you sir: How would you react if 3 months after your wife's death, her male colleague comes to you with a post dated cheque and claims ur late wife was owing him?no witness,no written IOU. A hard loss for you but a very important lesson to be grabbed too. Pursue this issue to much and you'd be surprised to see it twist to "she were your secret lover" or something. Then again,if the husband is a gentleman he might understand and come up with a payment plan. Another way to go about is to look for respectable folks in your company and see if they'd be convinced about this your story. They can now act as middlemen and help you go meet the man. |
