The name has cool meaning but very uncool to the ear and mouth.
Culture › Re: Proudly Bini Names And Meaning by ifyalways(f): 10:23pm On Mar 29, 2012
^thank you. I have a benin friend, female but married to a yoruba that bears the name. I have always wondered the roots and to make it even more confusing, she abbreviates it to dele.twas recently she told me the real name is idele.

Thank you.
Culture › Re: Proudly Bini Names And Meaning by ifyalways(f): 8:59pm On Mar 29, 2012
Honeric, thank you. Its such a "sad name" and quite unfortunately the bearer who is late now seems to have lived her life 'pleading with the world to live her alone' . . .
Thank you.

Is idele a bini name?

Rabzy,i think we are digressing.Folks like born2fuck who have always boasted of seen and done it all might be able to chip in a word or two in respect to this my 'bogus claims'

I think aside genes and tutorials at an early age,Tiv's and indeed most middle belt female have access to native herbs which they use to make the down below more pleasant and tighter or whatever.

Now,help the OP,tell us what u think about Tiv people.

Rev. Mrs Dele George(Yoruba by marriage),founder of Strong tower mission and little saints orphanage.A trained accountant but left all for Charity. If ever there is a word like a "successful orphanage" then little saints is the word. Her honesty, tenacity and humility in the face of storms and trials is awesome.I love this woman.

Bimbo Akintola,an actress.I just love her.Her carriage, smile, face, everything about her makes me smile.

Nri Priest,Imela.

I remembered something now and think I have another translation for "Iwenofu".When i was a kid and crying over a thing,my mom always say "O zugo nofu" meaning its ok/you've cried enough.Going with that 'nofu',IMO means its OK hence i think "Iwenofu" = Don't be angry again/control your bad temperament.

Moving on,can we translate the ffg names:
Nmuokwugwo(Anambra don't know the specific town)
Onukwuba(not Onukwube)
Agbakoba
Nwanosike

Rofl @ Mgboro.I'm not sure i would bear such a name oh,hoha.Forgive me but its too mgbekelicious and trust me,i have one mgbeke name like that too, from Aro,nne m ochie gave me that.I would force myself to smile when she calls me by that name but fight anyone else that dared to mention that name anywhere close to me.

She died and that name was buried with her.Love her lots kama aha ahu nwere nnukwu "K-leg".Pronounciation and spelling was both "no comment" LOL.Even abbreviating it makes it worst. How does one abbreviate a name like "Mgbeke" sef?Things can only get terrible from there. . .Mgby?

LMAO.

Seun: I can't find a good place to put the thing.
Where would you like it to be? On threads only?
Have you tried the END key?
Whatever happened to where it was before?Top right, center or left.
And yes,on threads only.Sometimes, its much more better(for me and i guess that was why it was there before) to read just an OP's post and reply a thread without necessarily reading others input.

I haven't tried the "END" key though.

LOL.

I used to get depressed but my husband helped me out.He said half of the stories posted here are unreal and the other real half posted by same set of people who have refused to take good counsel but would rather stay in their sorry siuations, keep changing usernames to recycle same stories.

I dont believe hes right but i hold on to that to keep sane.

I see fine ladies @ the malls, clubs, salons, spas etc on daily basics and cant help but wonder if all the smiles are but a facade?Going with the number of sob stories posted here,i sometimes think every married woman living in 9ja is living a lie or sitting on a time bomb. Its frightening.

Thank God im here and i can boldly say(within my circle) that is not as bad as its painted here.Marriage is still a beautiful thing,my prayers for those whose marriages are sour in and out remains:May God deliver you,may you help yourself.QED

Not gonna get migrane for another man's broken head.

@OP, are you sure that what you need now is a dating site and /or a soulmate?

I agre with blazay, I think you would do well by concentrating more on taking care of yourself, understanding how your body works from now henceforth, tips on nutrition, staying fit and then joining a support group. Of people of same status.

We used to have a positive but divorced igbo dude @ Belfast as neighbour. Its been quite sometime I spoke with him last so I don't know for sure if he's still searching. Would tell him about this thread.
Please, take good care of you first and stay strong.

exago: Why is a fire drill important?
If there is a fire, people need to be able to get out of the building quickly. A fire drill takes people through the process of leaving the building. Because they drill the process, they do not have to figure out how to get out in the midst of a real fire and they are less likely to panic.
now if this was the purpose then they did a poor job.

People were just rushing to their cars and driving off, those that stayed back did so because their transactions are not yet completed.

When eventually a man I would now assume to be the instructor came and asked everyone to come together for maybe tutorials on handling fire emergencies, no one except few of the bank staff went to listen to him.

Its all good eitherways.

Shout at my husband ke?not even in my dreams.

The last time I shouted @ someone, I was thoroughly disgraced and "brought back to civil world" by my 3 years old son. I was very pissed with someone, had my sons in the car and was out giving the person a piece of my mind, screaming out my lungs. One of my sons poked out his face from the window and shouted "mom are you allright?why are you shouting?is the man deaf"

Trust kids now, they kept asking me throughout the drive home if the man was deaf or I sick.

Been tempted sometimes after that incident to shout at someone but I thank God I someone get the inner strenght to refrain.

If I can't shout @ my client no matter how stupid s/he is, why should I shout at my husband. . . Or anyone?

@OP, where are your parents huh

How in Gods name would a 14 years old boy stay out of the house for days on end?one day, you guys would be seeing him after such disappearance in jail, if something is not done!

Seriously, the family unit is nothing to write home about nowadays.all we hear are domestic violence, runaway fathers/mothers, parent-less kids exposed to all manner of vices at their early age. Its really pathetic.

Where are the goddam parents ?
Travel › Re: Britain Warns Nigeria Over Threat To Ban Virgin & British Airways by ifyalways(f): 4:11pm On Mar 27, 2012
Oh please not again!

Are BA and VS the only airlines that ply that route?is anyone forced to buy their tickets?

Don't we all know the folks that use BA and VS first and business classes?the politicians and contractors. Are they bothered about the fare?would they care or check elsewhere if tomorrow there is a 200% fare hike?NO!

Its all about class and showing off for us. The average ghanaian would use air maroc, klm, Turkish airline or any cheaper option for as long as the fare is reasonable, service is good etc as opposed to a nigerian whose first thought when flying is likely to be "what would my friends say when they heard I flew anything else besides BA"

Its so bad that you see immigration and airport workers looking down on people that alighted from "lesser" airlines as they put it.

Well, we want class?we've got it! No nagging or crying please.
BA/VS biz class, Abuja-London- Abuja = $4500. BA/VS biz class, Accra-London-Accra=$2000

Lmao.
Let's see what the minister would do. . .
