@oAM4J,I deliberately kept my distance from this thread today cos Nigerians have a way of making an 1diot out of a sane person.
Yesterday,I sent my driver to the Obuh's,he called me from there,I spoke to Mr Obuh and he confirmed the accomodation story and their possibly relocation to Ayobo today to me.
This morning,I sent him again to see if they've moved and possibly drive them down(and know the place as me and Olowetee intends visiting on Sunday) and guess what?He met there still @ under bridge and with a new song.
Mr Obuh(I spoke with him on phone) said the good samaritan took them to a room and parlour ensuite kitchenette and washroom at AYobo and wanted to pay a year rent for them but he(Monday Obuh) declined the offer cos he felt he wont be able to maintain the house on expiry.

ps:I'm mobile

Good news everyone.I sent my driver to them this morning with a treated net and a lil' foodstuff and he just called now to say "someone just rented an apartment for them @ AYOBO though they have not yet relocted" as he still met them there.

God is indeed merciful!

Would read through later.I have provided Freiburger an account number.

@Olowotee,still expecting your email,do so asap please.

@Odunnu,you are tooooo good sister.Noted and taken care of(PM)

@Those requesting for more videos and pictures as proof,I would try to get that,If possible.why? Its high risk enough manouvering the ganja smokers and area boys so I park very far away and go there with a "kpalasa" phone.Hope i'd be able to capture clear videos with it,pictures im sure of.

@Tpia,churches dont help much.If you know any that wud help drop their contacts and i'd drive them there.where they stay now is just a stone away from "The lords chosen church"

Travel › Re: Air Nigeria - My Experience - Please Advice by ifyalways(f): 10:45pm On Nov 15, 2011
Lets get somethings clear here;
The late payment/confirmation of payment is NOT air Nigeri's fault.Had the OP bought his ticket @ their office or paid for it with cash at a bank then it would have been VK's palaver. The problem is either from the OP's bank(services are erratic) or interswitch,or both.

I quite agree with Dungren, air Nigeria to the best of my knowledge are one of the few "smooth operators" on the local terrain.Never had any negative feedback from them before now.

They refunded some pax, that's fair enough.
Family › Re: Man Raises Family Under Lagos Bridge by ifyalways(f): 10:25pm On Nov 15, 2011
@Odunnu,I would have provided all the necessary documents for them(my international passport and utility bills) but I agree,it might slow things down but I can't post my names and account details on here.

I would discuss with my husband tonight and with his consent tomorrow, give my account details to Freiburger and R231.Anyone that wants to contribute wud notify them on this thread and they'd PM him/her the details.

@Freiburger,Can you kindly PM Olowotee my email address.
Family › Re: Man Raises Family Under Lagos Bridge by ifyalways(f): 8:01pm On Nov 15, 2011
@Tpia,Nice points.
I would be providing the wife and boy decent clothes on Sunday, with other sundry stuffs like foodstuffs, provision, multi vitamins and blood tonics.

The clinic idea is good but wud make more sense if its done after they've secured accomodation.

@Ronke,Opening the account on their name does not mean giving them free access or leaving the money for them to utilize,NO.To the best of my knowledge,it takes an average of 1 week to get a withdrawal booklet or atm. With the help of the 2nd NLder, when the money is together,we'd go with the couple, get it out and pay for everything ourseleves(Icthe 2nd NLDer and couple),right down to going to the mkt.I would find out from the couple on sunday, the biz they wud want to do and report back here.
The couple really won't be touching or handling money. That was what I had in mind.
Travel › Re: Air Nigeria - My Experience - Please Advice by ifyalways(f): 7:34pm On Nov 15, 2011
@OP,If it happens that your ticket is non-refundable(most likey would be),don't throw it away as its still valid. They would only void the ticket, leave it open then you can still use it for same route in the future(as cancellation was from airline) though you might probably pay for date change which should be like 3K.

Another option is to re-route the ticket, pay fare difference and date change fees. ie You can use it for PH-ABUJA(or anywhere).fare difference = difference in fare for ticket for PH-LOS AND PH-Abuja.

I highly doubt you'd get a refund and even at all you get,it would be like 70% of what you paid.

Please before paying for tickets online or anywhere, request for and read the ticket rules so you know exactly how "cheap" your ticket is.
Travel › Re: Air Nigeria - My Experience - Please Advice by ifyalways(f): 7:17pm On Nov 15, 2011
Paying for tickets using interswitch is for most times, messed up.and Getting help from inter switch takes a donkey hours.

If you paid online and most likely got a discounted economy fare, chances are its non-refundable.Check the fare rules again.

Gotta LOL @ SUE interswitch for late payment confirmation and missed flight.Na naija we dey bikonu, nobe abroad.

@OP,Next time,do your bookings online then go pay at any of the designated banks, airline city/airport office or simply use a travel agency.

@Ronke,which medicine, church abi shrine want dash the man extra lenght ? Ol'boy I don laff scatter ground.

Btw,if the wife can't tell her husbands body, hands, lips and everything then it simply means they are both strangers living together.Even in coma,a woman should be able to tell her husbands kini and body heat, not to mention that they've been together for 5 years.
Family › Re: My Wife's Weird Request by ifyalways(f): 6:00pm On Nov 15, 2011
^He is the man of the century and theirs is an "open marriage". You should try that sometimes.LOL

@OP,are you sure sir, that you've not had similar weird fantasies in the past and with your wife's support turned them to realities?I find it very hard to believe your wife of 5 years woke up one night and shared this out of the blues with you. . .or perharps, one or both of you are non-Nigerians ?
Family › Re: Man Raises Family Under Lagos Bridge by ifyalways(f): 5:38pm On Nov 15, 2011
HLbroker,I don't think Okada and okirika biz is the best for this couple. Both are high risk.Okirika does not necessarily bring in steady daily income(you might not make sales for 1 week) plus bike can develop faults, get seized by police.

We should be looking at something that would guarantee daily income/profit no matter how little with minimial risk.

Mowe accomodation sounds cool though.
Family › Re: Man Raises Family Under Lagos Bridge by ifyalways(f): 5:31pm On Nov 15, 2011
@Odunnu,I'm not comfortable with using my account for this.I would after my sunday visit go back again on monday and pick Dupe(or the hubby) and help them open an account then post the account details here immediately.Pictures of every single step would be posted here. And to keep track of who pays and when s/he pays,I can link the account alerts to my mobile/email,thatjs the best and much I can do.

Would also ask them the business they would want to do on sunday and hopefully get more pictures.

Family › Re: Man Raises Family Under Lagos Bridge by ifyalways(f): 3:00pm On Nov 15, 2011
@Odunnu,The husband is not an artisan and does not possess any special skill.

I think a mini-provsion store and a self contain one room, school for the little boy is ok.They both can manage the store and one of the advantages of mini provision store is that they are sure of making steady income daily.

100K should be able to stock the shop and that includes a portable fairly used Fridge and small Gen.

120K or less should sort out their accomodation.

60K for shop rent(might be less) for a year.

20K for the boy academics.1 full session sch. fees(3 terms),school books etc.

10K for stocking their kitchen.

^I think its fair enough undecided

"Teach". People keep using that word. What is "teach"? Children should grow up with their language. That is how they come to own their native tongue.
LOL.
I sooo feel you.
@Swingbl,Sorry but the whole Ghana don't speak "twi" or use twi as pidgin/semi lingua franca.Twi/Fante is dominant in Accra, cape coast and Kumasi,In the north hausa is generally spoken while at ho/aflao axis ewe and French is spoken freely.Even at that, each speaker still have a grasp of his/her own local distint lingo.
Family › Re: Man Raises Family Under Lagos Bridge by ifyalways(f): 8:20am On Nov 15, 2011
@Topic,I think what we need do is to get them a simple, decent room to lay their heads, small scale biz for both, register the woman for ante-natal,stock their kitchen, get her the basic baby things and put the lil' boy in school.
2 rooms, mini flat etc won't be necessary IMO.how wud they maintain the status afterwards, pay the monthly bills that comes with bigger accomodation in Naija(ridiculos Nepa and water bills, security levy bla bla)

I promised to get them some things and would be visiting them again on sunday to deliver those things.

One longgg thing.
@OP,she is atleast honest and open about it and believe me,she would get it with or without your approval or consent. The choice is yours.lolz

Ok,seriously, have you suggessted getting her a big di.ldo? It's less complicated than a real dyke. And if the di.Ldo performs better than you,s3x with you wud jusst be a mere ritual while her toy becomes her daddy, heavens forbid.

You can try telling her you also wanna try a 3some.a busty and bootylicious babe at same time while she watches.Or threaten to report her to her pastor.LOL

This wan get K-LEG and im so tempted to ask if you guys met on 'mojo' set or your kini diminished overnight.Perharps you ain't doing it right anymore, use more of your fingers, tongue and less of your manhood maybe.

Goodluck mate and please let me know how you guys got to sort it out.
