If one has a healthy network of friends in reality. . .why bother with FB? undecided
I agree, a cheat is a cheat,
But that FB is the evil of all evils.
Takes quality time from family and friends. Not just the risk of cheating.

All to chase phantoms that are nothing but fake.

Often times, as soon as you get to know those 'figments' of imaginations a little closely. . .you discover they are ALL psychos. grin

. . .waiting for u to get off NL,how wud Fsstranger and co. cope without u ?  cheesy
@Bolded,i don't agree totally,One good thing with FBK is that it sure helps reconnect with lost old school friends, families and relatives staying in different states.

mutter:
You need to wait till the bleeding stops and the woman is healed- Medically.
But I would advise you to wait also till your wife is ready for it.
Mot women get scared after childbirth and the pain to start again. Also the strong maternal instinct can sometimes even make a woman aggressive to the husband coming near her. This instinct overshadows the instinct for a mate initially.
What you could do to help her is show her love, tenderness and compassion. Make her understand you know what she is going through and are willing to wait. Introduce physical contact gradually and make it obvious it is a show of tenderness and not sexual. Hugs and pecks or just holding her in your arms. Also care for the baby, like changing or bathing it, that will make her see that you identify with her motherhood condition, she will warm up pretty fast then.
No point the woman doing it just to satisfy you.
You are a darling. kiss

Getting off fbk or any social site is not the answer.A cheat wud always cheat but if ur loins are weak/ur marriage is shaky, like my Xtian brethren wud preach, dont give room to the Devil, cut off every appearance of evil/temptation.However,married ones shld know when and where to draw the line when online.
I personally find it weird when i see married dudes flipping suggestive pictures online, begging for attention?

For couples only, how long can  couples wait for each other after which the woman is put to bed.i mean b4 they can engage in sex again. kiss
Depends . . .how the birthing process went.
If she had C/S,2 mths shld be ok,(must have had her post-partum b4 then),Position matters.
If she had Epi.,6 weeks shld do,pre-intimacy and lubrication is the key.
Most Importantly . . .wait till ur woman is ready for it!
Please stay away from Orals ie giving her orals now,her body is still open, infections fly fast. wink

Here is some background info: Her child is 4 years old, she is 24, and I am 30. I knew that she has a child all along, but we are getting really serious these days and the family pressure is on (on me). The dude that knocked her up simply bounced because her child turned out to be a female ( He never came back, not even a mere phone call).
I know in the US, where I lived for over 15 years, stuff like this flies easily, but here in 9ja, society still frowns on that.

Thus, if you were in my shoes, what will you do?
If shes aiight and everything u want in a woman,go on boy.
Word of advice:Adopt the child legally.

Sagamite:
German man castrates teenage daughter's 57-year-old boyfriend

An enraged father who disapproved of his daughter's older boyfriend went to his home and castrated him with a bread knife.

Helmut Seifert, 47, an ethnic German originally from Russia, was enraged when he heard his 17-year-old daughter was having a relationship with Phillip Genscher, 57.

He went to police in the town of Bielefeld where he lives but officers said they were powerless to intervene.

"The man then recruited two work colleagues at his factory and then went to the house of the victim," said police.

"The man was forced to remove his trousers and, fully conscious, he was castrated. The severed testicles were taken away by the perpetrator."

The man was close to bleeding to death but managed to call police. His life was saved but he remains a eunuch for life.

Seifert pleaded guilty and will be on trial for attempted murder next year. But he has remained silent on who his accomplices were.

He told police: "I received a phone call anonymously that my daughter was involved with a guy 40 years older than her. You said you couldn't stop him - so I did.

"I saw it as my duty as a father."

I have falling out of love with my hubby and he has seriously tried to make amends but it doest seem to help. I caught him cheating once but honestly I have gotten over that.

I am seriously contemplating divorce but I am thinking am I too hasty but i have been thinking this for two years dont know if i should go for it or not. I have my reasons many I cant say here but i am really unhappy within my soul.

Constructive advice please
2 years is such a long time to have such a thing in mind.
Whatever your reasons are,are u really sure things cant be mended,is it beyond repair?
Please consider and re-consider seriously, whatever that made your feelings for your hubby change.Or could it be that u guys are growing apart?Lost communication, shared interests??
IMO, you can  lust over/get infatuated with  someone, cool off, come back and rekindle those feelings; No Stress but, love is different,It's an action not a feeling. It takes effort and time to build it,u gotta work on it daily to keep it going. If u try harder (if u still want to make it work)u might  regain some lost feelings and emotions by really working on the relationship, allowing yourself to be happy and not full of doubts.
Have u ever discussed this with your hubby?

Politics › Re: Policeman Who Shot Boy, 23, Promoted by ifyalways(f): 12:02pm On Dec 14, 2010
Kennyblues:
The Police have promoted a constable, Gbenga Fashola, after he allegedly shot a defenceless 23-year-old man, Jubril Rasheed.

The bullets fired at Rasheed at the Sabo Police Station, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, last May, tore through his buttocks and hit his focal place.

Fashola has been promoted to corporal.

This contradicts the Police Command’s statement to reporters in Abeokuta after the incident seven months ago.

The command had said Fashola was dismissed and charged with attempted murder.

But the policeman was recently seen in Abeokuta at a church on Quarry Road.

He was testifying to a large congregation that he had been reinstated and promoted.

He said he committed no wrong in shooting Rasheed.

Fashola on May 11 allegedly dragged Rasheed, a Ghanaian, to Sabo Police Station, Abeokuta, and shot him twice on the suspicion that his elder brother was befriending a hair dresser apprentice said to be close to the policeman.

The victim’s father, Mr. Clement Aboagye Rasheed, told reporters yesterday that he witnessed the ruling of the Orderly Room Trial of Fashola when he was invited by the Police Command Provost on June 8 after his "dismissal".

He said: "The Provost, who read the judgment, told Fashola that he had been found guilty beyond all reasonable doubt; that he wrongfully used arms when he was not supposed to use it and that his action was contrary to Police rules and regulations.

"The Provost said he was dismissed and would be prosecuted for attempted murder.

"But based on rumour, I went to the Sabo Police Station last Monday (November 29) to confirm. To my astonishment, I met him (Fashola) wearing his new rank.

"Doctors have told me that my son can never sleep with a woman. The police know I am poor and I don’t have anybody behind me. That is why, instead of paying my son some compensation, they have promoted him (Fashola). I leave everything to God."

He said of the N123, 000 he spent as hospital bill during his son’s six-week admission at the State Hospital, Ijaiye, Abeokuta, the police authorities paid only N57, 000.

But the Police yesterday insisted that Fashola had been dismissed.

Police spokesman Olumuyiwa Adejobi, a Deputy Superintendent, challenged Rasheed to prove his allegation.

Adejobi said: "He who alleges must prove. Let the father of the boy show a photogragh of the officer (Fashola) in his new rank. There is no information or signal at my disposal that he was promoted or re- instated. He committed a criminal offence. He was tried, found guilty and dismissed. I’m sure he has not been re-instated."

I remembered the the first day November 30, 2009 when you asked "What is islam" and then your next question was "who is muhammad an what does he represent". Precisly about a year later, on the same thread you type these beautiful words and phrase. To God be the glory !!

For those who dont understand the meaning it means "I am pleased and satisfied with Allah as my Lord, sustainer, master, nourisher  . . I am pleased and satisfied with islam as my way of life and Muhammad PBUH as my Prophet and messenger"

azharuddin:
Dont worryyyy,
Sister believe me reciting in Arabic is very very satisfying and more comfortable. The way we pronounce Arabic in English is not right. For example in Suratul Fathiha We recite 'Ghairil maghlubi alaihim.' The 1st letter 'Ghain' is pronounced from the back of our throat Not the like the 'G' in english. Most of the letters in Arabic cannot be pronounced properly in English. Reciting Quran without proper pronunciation is equivalent to not reciting it.  I learnt to read Quran in Arabic, even though i dont know the meaning, the satisfaction and the tranquility one  get from reciting Quran is unexplainable.

Even a marathon starts with the small first step. Take that first step and be patient. Initially concentrate on reciting the Quran even if you cannot keep up with the translation. Inshallah you ll be reciting Quran beautifully soon.

P.s Use the digital Quran you have. Its very easy to learn while you listen to it. Or you can download this one. It is a very good software that will help you (this link was posted in NL few months back)
