jayooh: bolded was true when drivers where limited. Be at Festival mall and they would still be calling you from within FESTAC. Can't say for now, but each time you drop the request pin withing FESTAC TOWN you are likely to see more than 5 cars.
In other news, I deh the FESTAC sef. Been I while I came here, and lack of request no gree me reject am. The day is still young That's my zone, and I can tell you request here is now very very hard, because of too much driver. I now wake by 4am just to leave Festac b4 my competition wake up |

Stealth100: Talking about festac, just dropped someone just before the link bridge. I told her I won't go over the bridge that she has to complete her journey with bike. After plenty agidi, she paid me and took bike. Festac is not bad if you know your way around very well, if not, don't even dare. Meanwhile, my first taxify trip in over 6hrs just dropped. Sigh! Been chilling inside dis orange surge for more than 20min now, still no request.

CavendishPlex: A trip from UBA Marina to Amuwo Odofin last Saturday spoilt for me what was going on as a smooth day. Rider dropped off somewhere between Festac 1st and 2nd gates while I had to go down to around Alakija to make a turn to access the Festac 2nd gate with the intention of going out through the link bridge and then Ago Palace. Oh boy, what an error!
The link bridge was in chaos because of what I heard was a fallen tanker or trailer. I had to find my way back to the 2nd gate onto the expressway again. I made the mistake of not getting back to the main carriage way instead of remaining on the service lane when I got to an opening along the expressway.. Not my fault though as I hadn't been to that place in God-knows-how-long. Las Las, I spent 3 freaking hours meandering that Festac/Ojo/Badagry expressway axis. Never will I go down that route again. Never! Please send them my way, that's home bro. |

Gentlelife50: Na waoo, see how the woman is even talking. It shows the driver's side of the story is true. Intimidating the driver just because you think you can do so Am not blaming the woman, if ur property is missing from the whole incident, the driver is the first suspect coz he stopped. I blame the Sarz I'd!ots that torture somebody as a form of investigation.
It has happened to me before, I took a rider from Maryland going to gbagada ifeko, when I started the trip he asked if I knew gbagada very well, I said No coz I hardly go to that place because of the constant traffic at that deeper life church side, we got to deeper life, the google map was misbehaving we had to ask somebody the road to ifeko, the guy directed us, buh am not sure the guy knew what he was saying so I ignored his direction and continued with my misbehaving map, suddenly the rider started shouting that am going the wrong way from what the guy said, I said bros I knw, that guy doesn't know what his saying, so I stopped and asked another person, so we got to a place I became confused, I had to use my map, the rider started shouting that I shouldn't worry that when we get to our destination he will rate me poorly We couldn't say anything again since he already made up his mind. So I got there and ended the trip, he said I should wait so he will request me again to take him and his pal to Eco Hotel, I heard Eco Hotel I couldn't say no, so I waited. He and his pal came with lots of luggage, bads and laptop printer etc. We got to Eco Hotel I ended trip helped them offload there stuffs and left, becos of the stress and headache that dude gave me on the first trip and it was raining, so I decided to go home. On my way home close to my house, this dude called me that I should check my car for his laptop and printer, I stopped and check n saw nothing, I called him to tell him there was no laptop n printer in my car, he started shouting again that is in my car, that I should bring it back or he report me to Taxify for theft, I told him bros am very sure I offloaded ur laptop and printer at Eco Hotel my self with ur luggage, he was still shouting and saying I should come back to Eco Hotel, I told him I can't that am done for the day plus the heavy rain too. He just said don't worry I will hear from Taxify, I said okay am waiting on taxify. I called him that he should request for Eco Hotel CCTV, he will see when I brought out his laptop for him, he said he has seen the video that I did not bring it out that am lying because am so sure I brought it out, I told him bros you're lying watch that video again. He cut the call on my ear n said I should wait on Taxify. Me Okay
After 1 hour later he called to say that it was Eco Hotel security that was with it, that he doesn't know the guy intention, I wanted to tell him thunder will fire him for accusing me, buh he cut the call before I could talk back.
I just said you're lucky I'd!ot |

slamstanlee: Taxify and their jagajaga app... Agungi to abule egba just now. Displayed 1800. Told rider its app issue oooo. He said he will give 2500... I just smiled. I knew the trip shuld be around 4800 or more.... Bros please lets use calculator Last last he gave me 4500.... Dey will kuku use like 1 month to review it. And i will wake up one morning and see 2200 on my daily earnings without any trip. Yeye people The App hangs sometimes, did circle mall lekki to Festac 400, the rider was just shouting it's impossible not even me self, last last gave me 3800, I didn't do any review on it, so it's more like offline trip to me. The hanging helps if you're with an understanding rider, not some wicked people |

brogxy: Simply ask over the phone before getting there. but if the rider hesitates to tell, that should spell doom. Maybe its a location that drivers don't like going. I could remember when one rider that I asked but told me i should know it against the policy asking. I just cancelled the request sharp sharp Anytime i hear that it's against the policy asking, I do ask the person which policy is that, maybe they attended orientation class we did. If you can't tell me ur destination I can't come thank you. Like the other guy said, the big boiz and girls won't behave that way, only the broke once nd olosho will behave that way. |

Chai......I won’t make such mistake again. It was the brother I took to CU. I almost dropped him on the way but I felt I’m in it already since I couldn’t cancel when I got there even with her attitude. They won't tell you, coz if they do you will cancel asap. I remember one request I got at Maryland, I called n asked for destination she said Ajao, got there started trip I saw ikotun, I told her madam I tot you said Ajao, she said yes Ajao ikotun I just laughed, I got to Ajao ended trip n told her that's as far I can go, that's why I asked. I can't come and be stressing myself for nothing.. Some will start asking you why you're asking them, or will ignore the question and hang up immediately, some will tell you when you get here I will let you know. Once I hear all dis I already know it's a bad request am canceling after I drop the call. No rubbish m ur ride not ur slave. |

But it's still better than doing nothing though When people doing job of 180k are leaving it to do uber/taxify, That's madness to me tho. |

Megadrop: Thats what some riders do especially those going to far places cos they believe some uber drivers are comfortable doing short trips. That was how one man said destination was Mongoro-cement but ended up taking me to one estate @Aboru in Ipaja Destination berger, started trip it was Ogun state after Opic inside inside. Was angry I did not end that trip still regret it till date.
Buh I know how to deal with such riders now, if you know you know. |
