My concern is the safety of the Driver since the car would be insured comprehensively.

We are all humans (Car Owners and Drivers) so we need to value our lives.

Overworking yourself without rest come at a cost and human health maintenance without HMO is damn expensive.

Please as a Driver, value your life. If you work during the day, please rest at night to refresh and recharge your body and mind. Pushing your body limits to the extreme is dangerous to your health.

Your Life matters. Take it Seriously.

Lol that's how my taxify scammed my second rider this morning, egbeda to blenco Addo road, taxify fare estimate- ₦3500 actual fare- ₦6100, the girl wasn't ready lol I pitied her and left ₦100 for her.

You are wrong sir! Speak for yourself. Many here are drivers out of necessity. Plenty of these "drivers" have other marketable skills such as writing, editing and many others. Your own skill maybe limited to driving, but others who have acquired these different skills via training or schooling would like an opportunity to put them to use someday. And you never when that opportunity would come knocking.

We re thinking of how to get back to back trips, you’re talking about writing books, asin were is the time for that.

Those guys are just hungry. I ended trip and dropped rider off to another driver, she was magnanimous enough to add 1k to the fare. These guys were talking of 100k fine when we got to their lot. Its me they want to use to buy land.
I tried getting the fine online and saw they could sell it as a 25k offence.
Las las 7k drop. This rain better fall well, surge is needed

Whats the fine for this? Any advise to get out of there.

If you read my previous post. I said in order to succeed in this business you need a good team around u And I also said that fleet management is for short term goals.. I am not a big fan of fleet management and still am not.. I rather focus my time and energy to grow my own business.. When you own something u tend to be more serious, than when you manage for somebody.. I made a prediction few months ago, and we all know what happened...

I don't know where did country is turning to..I went to d local airport car park nw waiting for request..three old men just came to block me that Uber/ taxify airport pick up is not approved..he said dey arrested 5 cars yesterday chained d cars...d next thing is dat I changed it for dem..airport is not a village property but a federal govt..I pay tax,I pay parking fee,I'm a Nigerian...u can not just come and be feeding me nonsense

I took a ride on uber from ladipo to my workshop (as a rider) and had an interesting chat with the driver, he told me he had a fantastic day, got a request to a point in lekki/ajah area, the street was Flooded, really bad and he could not make it to the location of the rider.

he called rider and told rider to meet at non Flooded portion of the road she (nah young lady o!) Begged that he should employ any means necessary to get her out of the house. He jokingly said Madam do I come and back you she said yes she will pay 3000 for the gesture (about 100 meters) nah so my guy fold trouser, enter flood, reach front gate back the lady to the car, collect the 3k first, start trip it was to airport on surge

He deserves an accolade.

Just use the pedestrian bridge to the other side of the road as you come out of Maryland mall then take bus, tell the conductor you are going to JKK house it’s 50 box and it’s not far (on ikorodu road)
If you are driving, use your google map and navigate through.

Or go through 3rd mainland it’s faster

This is the third time am experiencing this!

Got a request from a bus stop, a group of stranded people at the bus stop and one he goat thinks he is wise and decided to use UBER to shine. I got there and noticed what they were up to, I just zoomed off. You can’t turn my car to cabu cabu

Its maximum of four people on Uber/Taxify, you should ve carried ur four only, no extra luggage allowed

Its like a guy telling you to leave your room for him and his girlfriend and you even leave AC for them. Me I won't leave and if its a cash trip, I will report him first before his yeye rating.

If you like tell them to go with money, rider that will rate you low will still rate you low. Just always be yourself. I won’t drink from a dirty water cos am thirsty. Never!

1. Pls if you go to Taxify office don’t park for Ebeano supermarket I repeat. It was a bad experience yesterday and I will explain what happened later tonight.

2. Don’t let any rider tell you to do fast furious cos he/she is late for a rubbish meeting. My experience today was somehow and i almost dropped them off on 3rd mainland bridge. Have done it before and I will do it again if needs be.

Now I understand Ubers crazy rating and cancellation. My cancellation rate was 6% last week and because I've not driven on Uber this week, it jumped to 10%. This sucks.
Now I've learnt to ask riders for rating,after three guys rated me low.

The first was from one small boy who was so concious of how much the trip will cost and unfortunately for him, roads were blocked that day and alternative routes prolonged the ride, I gave him 5 and he gave me 1

Second case, a lady, she was to be picked up at an event centre at Ikeja, the said centre was behind another one off billings way, and the map kept pointing to the 'wrong event place, I arrived and saw other drivers trying to make out the correct place and street urchins started demanding for 500 parking space. In the melee, I mistakenly clicked start trip. The lady found out and I told her we'll sort it out since its a cash trip and she requested I cancel which I did and she wa charged, leading to a report and 1 star. I gave uber my story and they accepted telling me that my rate has improved, but nothing changed.

Third guy was a pathetic case. I picked him from his office at lekki, close to Ikate gate, dude was smelling as skunk, probably no deodorant and the map clearly showed we should follow Ozumba Mbadiwe because of the mad traffic at Admiralty and Lekki link bridge, I also asked him his preferred route and he said I should go ahead.
Even the AC no cool his stench. As we neared yaba,and he saw the traffic he started complaining, that I should have followed the link bridge, next he complained about the air freshner after dirtying my car with coke and two galas. I felt like slapping him, by this time his stench coupled with the coke and gala was unbearable and he wound down the window and I offed the AC. Long story, he cut the trip, got down and took bike and gave me 1 leading to this low rating.

I ve seen worst, riders ain’t easy to deal with, just pray for good riders daily, because Dey can take dis job away from you. Taxify would ve blocked you, for 4.21 rating, till you visit office, was blocked at 4.38. I was like wtf buh couldn’t do anything. Now I just play dumb even when I knw there wrong and apologize, buh in my mind, no worry ur self.
