I know from Nairaland here people will mock your pastor and salute your decision, but its a matter of time, that attitude will catch up with you maybe in a more important settings Kudos to you but shouldn't d pastor have waited, maybe till d end of d service if really he meant to correct him instead of ordering him out. Even though, I don't believe, especially the book of John, but didn't you see any sense in his explanation when he said
"John 14:6 KJV [6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If you want to get to the father, it’s by The teachings of Jesus, and what are his teachings? Luke 10:27 says; Love God and Love one another!""
If yes, can you counter it?

Christianity Etc › Re: Are Muslims Going To Heaven? - Daddy Freeze Gives An Answer by Igba123: 11:18am On May 16, 2017 |
alBHAGDADI: You can't make heaven without Christ. No one cometh to the Father except through Christ.
No one can do those things you listed above without having Christ's guidance. Christ is the only perfect person that lived like the above. So, if anyone wants to do those things you listed, he or she must have to follow the example set by Christ himself. with or without christ nobody can do those. God doesn't wait for us to qualify for heaven bc we can't, rather He qualifies us Col. 1v12niv. Christianity is not a religion. It is religion which is based on dos n don'ts, christianity is based on faith for we are justified by faith. Look up what justification mean in ur dictionary. |

If you can succeed in doing this for a week even a day with all sincerity and exactness then you'll surely make heaven without Christ. my bros u nailed it but will they understand? olujastro: When the govt loses a court case, those who hate this govt always rush to scream "media trial". But when they win, the same haters get ashamed and hide their ugly faces to the EFCC's success. Truth is, in legal matters, you win some and lose some. But I keep wondering... Is it not money that belongs to all the citizens of Nigeria that was looted? How come some are happy that criminals will keep their loots and walk free when others don't know where their next meal will come from? Why has politics so blinded us to our suffering reality that we overlook it for people who don't care about you. I expect every single Nigerian to always condemn corruption whether you hate the president or not. We should not be this shameless if we expect the country to become better in the near future. Having said that, the only case where it looks like the judiciary gave corrupt judgement is the Justice Ademola's case which the F. G has appealed. Bros it is not u dat will establish dat a citizen has looted money but d court. When obj was investigating membets pf his govt who complained? Let d govt do d needful, i.e give d amount of media trials n demonisation, atleast, to her members as is being given to others. Look at orubebe case. He is as much a nigerian as buhari. What was his offence or is he holding ur money? |

ogologoamu: The best teachers of the scripture are those that preaches nothing but holiness and righteousness, they don't have time for any show either birthday or displaying of beneficiaries of their gifts to the world.
Pastor Lazarus Muoka
Pastor W. F Kumuyi
These two has no rival. d ppl u call holiness preachers are those who mix d law and d gospel and sometimes add to d scripture their own thought. E.g. I heard muoka said, "solomon had all d wisdom and still go to hell". There is no place u see dat rubbish in d entire bible. These ppl do "eisegesis" instead of "exegesis", these are greek terms in d art of bible study and biblical preaching. Listen to pastor oyakilome without sentiment and hear sound biblical teaching, especially on salvatn (benefits of christ's death and resurrectn). I'm a proud anglican and not embassy. |

fasterwell: Kemi do not need to ask for forgiveness before Pastor David can forgive her. Pastor David must forgive Kemi for his own good.
How many times has Kemi offended David Ibiyeomie in a day?
Matthew 18:21-22
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Failure to forgive and reconcile with Kemi will be an act of disobedience u're turning those scriptures on their head. Hv u considered d parallel teaching in luke 17:1ff? Jesus was responding to simon's puzzle. 1st Jesus said brother. Is d said lady a christian? Did she accept she offended? Matt said show him his offence. Clearly d pastor is following d bible here, don't advocate personal showing bc d lady will make us believe d pastor is trying to chase her. Luke said rebuke him- kemi is being rebuked here. Luke gave condition for forgiveness which is "if he/she repents- have u proved kemi's repentance? Pls read those scriptures again, dis time within d context, then come up with better condemnation. |
